As always good information, thanks a bunch.
That paracord trick is awesome!! No knife no problem. Never seen that before. Keep up the great work Andrew 👌!!!
Love the straightforward instruction! Thanks Andrew!

Really good video, sir
2:20 I see so many people trying to make a feather stick that just ends up making shavings😢
Keep your tobacco and kindling dry.
Good day, sir
Anothergreat one andrew.Well done that man!
A Major Hunka Hunka Burnin' Love ! ! ! I really like the idea of the tripod back rest for the isomat , that's perfect for my set-up , I didn't want to add the extra weight of a camp chair to my pack , and I already carry the mat . Thank You Sir ! ! !
Great intel as always. Does that knife you use to magnetize the needle need be high carbon?
Antes empezar a verlo le di like por la miniatura! Saludos desde Argentina
Wonderful, man!!! Thank you!!! 🙌🏻
Does anyone know that first knot he did with the cordage?
Have you made a video of using a gill net tool?
Great question!
I'm nearly certain he's covered that...should be an easy search.
Superior instruction. We can practice and perfect new techniques while revisiting and reinforcing that witch we might have known but not used in a while. Thank you, great video.
Very insightful statement my friend! Couldn’t have said it better.
Great job. Thanks.
I always loved 550 cutting trick, old Nam era DS showed us...
Best part of Sunday. Thank you, sir.🙏👍😎🇺🇸💪🤘
I'm trying to think of some intelligent words to say about your channel, but in reality it's simply very good 👍 thank you.
Watching from liverpool england
Great video!
Very helpful
The tripod backrest with a folding mat 🤯 There I sit on my mat for years and never picked up on adding a short tripod. What a dummy 😂
If it ain't rainin, we ain't trainin. Live from Ohio. Excellent information. Thank you
just the fact you actually showed a bic lighter being used got you another subscriber.
Along the few watercourses in the Sonora desert you often find fairly large stumps of tough, seasoned cat’s claw wood about a foot high that pioneers of one sort or another have produced when wood cutting back in the day. Finding the stumps as ready-made anvils can be a significant wood and energy saver.
Great video. Very interesting and informative.
great video
Always the best content in this genre. Thank you!
All the battoning bushcraft queens, just got a bruise ego, because the proper tool was used to process wood…😂
Are you talking about 5:49 ?
@@jds0406 definitely NO, the proper tool is a hatchet.
Thanks Andrew, neat video to watch whilst hunkering down here during a heavy rain and wind storm with no intention of going out there! Wood burner on 😎
Very useful. Awesome work.
❤
Keep it up brother stay dry and lead the way.
Hi brother where did you get the axe?
Always good stuff
I like that chair.
Class in session! 🇺🇲
Great tactics!💯🇺🇸💪🏼
Thanks
Awesome
Informative and thorough while succinct ✨
GOD BLESS you Andrew
Thank you for your service
Just wrapped up a long family workday at our property and happy see a new RSAFC video! Putting these skills into practice- thanks for what you are doing!

As always Mr. Fine, great video. Thanks
Semper Fi
Good video Andrew, thanks for sharing ,YAH bless !
Hi Andrew, greeting from Australia 🇦🇺, thank you for your time to make these videos.
Yeah watch those 'fine' calories buddy.
Great video as usual. Wicked hatchet!
A lot of hard wood in Auzzi, that hatchet and how to use it are an awesome idea!
Cheers 💜👍

The pathfinder school is lucky to have you.
Great tip about using the axe for splitting wood with a mallet like that! Thank you sir!
Great stuff, excellent presentation and entertaining. And I'm keeping that comment "fine, just like me" except l will change it to "fine, just like Andrew"
Thank you. Superb instruction as usual. Greetings from another former infantry major in South Africa.
I hope my grown kids watch this because all I'm going to do is supervise.
"Ya'll done making my shelter, fire, and supper?"
"I'll be wanting a bed after dinner."
I love all Ranger Survival and Field Craft videos!
Andrew, thank you for teaching me to make a dry butt chair! In my 67 years I've only seen one version of this setup in my "Native American Skills" book. The cattail reed mat would still allow water to wet one's butt. I fully intend to put your chair to use on future treks. Keep the videos coming, please.
You and pathfinder have help me a lot,.. bunch I've forgot but brings back remembers and a lot of great ideas .. y'all keep it up
Excellent source of survival and bushcraft skills and gets better all the time. Thank you very much!
What a coincidence, the first sheath i ever made was from poplar bark, for a mora.
I always hated my double bit axe. Now I see its utility in splitting wood AND fighting zombies.
Great common sense techniques delivered perfectly.
thanks Andrew
These were great tips. So many others are doing same old, same old as everyone else. I appreciate you Andrew for bring us new stuff!
Thank you.
Appreciated.
When its raining miles deep into a rain forest with 10 mph gusts of wind and you only have 15 minutes of sunlight left (arm outstretched fist on the horizon each fist between the sun is 15 minutes) the most expedient way to build a fire is to pull loose bark off the oak trees, because everything on the forest floor is completely saturated.
My phone camera is in poor quality. What is the name and model of your camera to make your videos?
Major Andrew these are pretty awesome tricks thanks for the lesson 👍🇺🇸🤯
Great video! Jam packed with free chicken!
You lost me at the sheath. The one you made traps water.
Better to take cues from the Mora sheath and just lash some pieces of found plastic or flat wood together so it has drainage and isn't ever soaking in water🤗
Thank god you made a back rest, I thought you were going to sit on the tripod and poke a stick up your arse.😱
You make it look easy! Thanks.
Innovation is key to thriving, surving is hard, thriving is easy.
This is the first time I have seen a real use for a double bit hatchet other than trying to role play Viking!
Always learning! Thanks Andrew.
Hoorah!
Thank you very much for sharing
I would like to see some one arm survival skills
How do you know where north is on the needle?
I'm no expert but I'd look at the lichen/moss for confirmation as it's usually on the north side in my hemisphere. There's also the sun's position if you can see it.
If it's indeed magnetized wouldn't it point to true north?
I'm no expert either, but thought that was the point of magnetizing it.
@@HiItsme-zu1yz which end would point north is what I'm asking?
You are an excellent instructor Sir
Best channel on the Web!!!
