Failed twice already, months later i'm looking to book my 3rd test. At Least research has supposedly says that the more intelligent you are the more times you're likely to fail because your brain over analyses situations resulting you in forgetting to do an obvious thing. (idk how true this really is but ima pretend it's 100% accurate just to make myself feel better)

I failed my first one today. I was so confident that I had passed and then last minute I messed up a park REALLY BADLY. I took it hard because if I hadn’t messed up that park I would’ve passed, but this video really helped me realise what you said, it’s not a reflection of my driving, just my driving in those 45 minutes. The thing I hate about the stigma of not passing your driving test is that you must be stupid or unintelligent because of it. So annoying. I passed on my fourth go too haha

This is so nice to hear! Currently taking a break after failing my test 3 times! Your experience gives me hope for my 4th attempt. There is definitely an expectation to pass first time but as soon as you fail once, so many people tell you that they also have failed multiple times. Don't give up man. I totally understand. It's not that you can't drive it's just crazy rules. You better you can drive. I failed 5x and even got clinically depressed. Just passed a few days ago. Don't give up mate ok keep trying

Failed my test the second time today! I'm planning on going like two days from now and hopefully, I can pass. I failed the first and second time both with immediate disqualifications, making the test end early, so I've never even gotten to the three-point turn on any test I've done even though I know how to do it! It sucks because most people I know who fail are super responsible drivers fail just because they're not being defensive enough. It's normally other people's actions on the road that affect you. But thank you for this video it really makes me feel a lot better. I'm hoping just to hop right back in and pass cause it's so frustrating. I think failing the second time is the hardest because after failing once you're like, "I've got this next time," and go in with a bunch of confidence only to be let down. I love your videos so much though and this one is currently giving me some much-needed therapy.

What I find that eases my worries and eventually helps me succeed is that it's okay to fail, I can't stand people who mock you for taking longer to pass your test than usual.

I failed my test last week and I feel so shitty about it. Now I have to wait a couple of weeks until my second test. I have a friend who had her test one day before me and she passed. That didn't make it easier eventhough I am proud of her for passing. I just wish to get my license as soon as possible. The hardest part is having to wait for the next chance.

£62.00?? I'm from the Netherlands and failed for the second time today. The fails are a hard hit by itself, hence me watching this video/the comments for comfort. Although the stupid thing here is an exam costs around £200.00 (€235.00) and you have to take 2/4 lessons prior to your re-exam, which costs ~£35.00 (

dont be too down amy driving was stressing my entire life, like i felt so bad about myself when all my cousins were passing, and i didnt, but i just passed and literally i dont feel any different. driving is not a thing which should dictate who your are, you can do it never doubt yourself and dont be too down about it, ive failed my fair share, youllm get there one way or the other
Ahhh I know it's so bloody annoying, same situation, 3rd fail today and all 3 for the past 3 months now have been 1 major, only a couple minors. Even then the majors were such silly mistakes, not like I hit a granny or did 40mph on a 20mph road. I will pass 4th time charm
@Kathryn Eileen Kerr hey, hope you've passed by now. If you're still doing your test, try looking for cancellations or pay a one off for company to search for cancellations for your test centre. It can often bring it forward fairly significantly
But congrats on passing ☺️ one of my friends failed because she didn't over take a cyclist even though she over took one minutes before! I need to work on my nerves before I even attempt a test
I started learning and it made me realise that i should never cross or get out of the car if there is a learner car cos i dont trust myself so i don't trust them 😂

Just failed my test for the 3rd time and this video has made me feel so much better. 1st time I failed because I drove on the right side of the road and then back to the left again (fuck knows what I was doing, I was so nervous 😂) 2nd time I was lit 2 minutes away from the test centre and a man walks out in front of me and examiner grabs my wheel and today I failed because I didn’t turn my head dramatically enough to the right when I had to reverse back 2 car parking spaces.... fingers crossed 4th time lucky.
HEY on my first test I fuckin passed a stop sign without stopping like wtf that was an automatic fail and then my second test I did the same shit as you did but since I live out here in New York we drive mainly on the right side… so during my second test the examiner told me to make a left turn at the stop sign .. I did but it was a short turn and I went into the wrong lane so I moved back into the other lane the examiner told me like “you’re in the wrong lane” I’m like fuck I kno I’m just nervous and failed … I was pissed my nerves just keep getting to me ugh.

I passed first time, here are 4 tips I can give Have a good night sleep as it’s vital for concentration. The morning of your test (or whatever time it is) get excited for passing and think good thoughts. ( Don’t get overconfident though). REALLY TRY TO CALM THE NERVES ONCE YOU GET TO THE TEST CENTRE. And finally, if you do make a mistake during the test. DO NOT dwell on it and prove to the examiner you’re a good driver by just carrying on and you may just get a minor or they probably will ignore it. Anyone taking their test, best of luck hopefully you come out on top👊👊

I've failed my first driving test yesterday. Everything was perfect till the end and when we reached the test centre back he asked me to do a bay parking. It went wrong and i panicked, ruined everything. only got 6 minors apart from that one majour in bay parking. i'm absolutely gutted.
Same here I failed on my first try only because I saw a A pedestrian riding his bike on the crosswalk I got really nervous because I saw him last minute when I saw him I stopped and then after that it went downhill from there for me and then after that I went over the speed limit twice in the right from there I knew I didn’t pass and I felt like shit believe me but I know is that we gotta keep going we can’t give up very easily So I know how you feel you’re not alone on that
I failed my second test yesterday and honestly I feel awful about it. My first test I nearly passed but I made 1 stupid mistake. I booked my second test for over a months time away and I became a much better driver in that time but I failed again and this time the test went worse than the first time! It's so true how every test is different. My second test was much harder with way more hazards and I ended up making misatakes that I would never make in my lessons. It's knocked my confidence massively as I am a huge perfectionist and not used to failing. Now I have to go through the stress of another test. I just want to pass so badly :(
I failed my test and everything that could've gone wrong, did go wrong. The break lights stopped working minutes before the test so I was late, I got a mean examiner who rarely passes people and a horrific test route. Not to mention I live in LONDON so it was busy anyways considering my test was 8:20 and I had to do reverse around the corner on a hill, it's like I was set up to fail. My next test is soon though and I hope to pass but we'll just see what happens, it can't go worse than the first one anyways 😂🤷🏾♀️

YOU'VE GOT THIS - I HAVE FAITH IN YOU!!!! Just try and take it easy and remember to exaggerate looking in your mirrors etc, if you don't know what to do make sure you ask the assessor :) Let me know how it goes!

Easily. In England the test is difficult. Only takes a little thing and you've failed. I know of someone who failed 21 times.passed on the 22nd. It doesn't matter how many times it takes. As long as you get there in the end. Not all the best drivers pass first time
Thanks for this, it made me feel much better as I failed for the third time on Saturday which was also my birthday and did worse than on my first two tests and I felt like giving up and not taking it again. This really helped me see its not that I'm a bad driver. Hopefully I'll pass on my fourth try like you did.
@@Berry-Xd nope. I've took it like 8 times now and still not passed! Got it again in March and hope this time I will. It was bad having it on my birthday. My driving instructor didn't understand how I kept failing as he said I'm a really good driver. One lady I had twice seemed to fail me on purpose at the same part of the route each time!
@@stephtastrophe fingers crossed! 🤞 the more you practice, the more natural it’ll feel during the test (it’s what I’ve been told) I’m also on my permit and didn’t pass 3 times so I wonder how long it might take to pass. Been hearing tips like follow the road signs and road markings which helps a lot as well as knowing the traffic and road rules, signalling, blind spot checks and mirror checks. It’s always the basic stuff that catches me off guard. Hopefully we’ll both do well on our next one ☝️

I should be able to do it in my sleep now 😂 although not as much lately as my instructor gave up and I've spent so much money and when I've switched instructor before they've took me back to the start and he said I was good enough and he didn't want to see me get ripped off by them. So just going to practice more in own car for now. True. It's always the silly little things that I've failed on. Things I've thought I've done. Everyone keeps telling me as well to exaggerate when you're looking in the mirrors which I'm going to have to do next time and sometimes they say I've not looked when I know I have. I'm sure we'll both get it next time ☺️
@@stephtastrophe passed today on my 5th try☺️ The trick is to relax and be confident at what u are doing and its safe to do so. Make sure u listen to the feedback provided by ur assessor’s on ur previous attempts. If u make a minor mistake on the road (but isn’t MAJOR), just correct it safely and confidently if ur able to!!
The examiner cannot drive you back to the test centre. He is not insured to drive the car. You would have to wait in the car whilst they walk back to get the instructor who has to drive you home.

After 2 fails I finally got my license! It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. You're bound to get someone who believes in you. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv agent that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again. My little advice. * If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver's license which you won't need to test drive.

Yes it’s not the end if you fail but it still really, really sucks because you gotta pay for more lessons - again…to prepare (already spent myself silly, so expensive) and you have to wait ages again to get a test date. Frustrating.

It's so discouraging, especially cause I'm failing for silly things, first I failed for going too slow and today I failed for not stopping fully at the white line at junctions and roundabouts, apparently I was stopping too early/behind it. I just had a test today and failed bc I didn’t give way to a bus. It was stopped so o thought it was waiting you me but turns out you always need to give way to busses other than that my driving was all good. The national average for 1st time passes is only 42% so there's lots of fibbers out there

dont be too down amy driving was stressing my entire life, like i felt so bad about myself when all my cousins were passing, and i didnt, but i just passed and literally i dont feel any different. driving is not a thing which should dictate who your are, you can do it never doubt yourself and dont be too down about it, ive failed my fair share, youllm get there one way or the other
Ahhh I know it's so bloody annoying, same situation, 3rd fail today and all 3 for the past 3 months now have been 1 major, only a couple minors. Even then the majors were such silly mistakes, not like I hit a granny or did 40mph on a 20mph road. I will pass 4th time charm
@Kathryn Eileen Kerr hey, hope you've passed by now. If you're still doing your test, try looking for cancellations or pay a one off for company to search for cancellations for your test centre. It can often bring it forward fairly significantly

Just failed my test for the 3rd time and this video has made me feel so much better. 1st time I failed because I drove on the right side of the road and then back to the left again (fuck knows what I was doing, I was so nervous
😂) 2nd time I was lit 2 minutes away from the test centre and a man walks out in front of me and examiner grabs my wheel and today I failed because I didn’t turn my head dramatically enough to the right when I had to reverse back 2 car parking spaces.... fingers crossed 4th time lucky.
HEY on my first test I fuckin passed a stop sign without stopping like wtf that was an automatic fail and then my second test I did the same shit as you did but since I live out here in New York we drive mainly on the right side… so during my second test the examiner told me to make a left turn at the stop sign .. I did but it was a short turn and I went into the wrong lane so I moved back into the other lane the examiner told me like “you’re in the wrong lane” I’m like fuck I kno I’m just nervous and failed … I was pissed my nerves just keep getting to me ugh.
I had my driving test in July and passed first time with 10 minors. I was actually so nervous I thought I had failed and when my accessor said you’ve passed I actually didn’t believe it
I passed 2nd time 3 minor faults, thing is it doesn't even matter when you pass you can be the best driver but there is a lot of luck involved.

I passed first time, here are 4 tips I can give
Have a good night sleep as it’s vital for concentration.
The morning of your test (or whatever time it is) get excited for passing and think good thoughts. ( Don’t get overconfident though).
REALLY TRY TO CALM THE NERVES ONCE YOU GET TO THE TEST CENTRE.
And finally, if you do make a mistake during the test. DO NOT dwell on it and prove to the examiner you’re a good driver by just carrying on and you may just get a minor or they probably will ignore it.

I've failed my first driving test yesterday. Everything was perfect till the end and when we reached the test centre back he asked me to do a bay parking. It went wrong and i panicked, ruined everything. only got 6 minors apart from that one majour in bay parking. i'm absolutely gutted.
Same here I failed on my first try only because I saw a A pedestrian riding his bike on the crosswalk I got really nervous because I saw him last minute when I saw him I stopped and then after that it went downhill from there for me and then after that I went over the speed limit twice in the right from there I knew I didn’t pass and I felt like shit believe me but I know is that we gotta keep going we can’t give up very easily So I know how you feel you’re not alone on that

I failed my second test yesterday and honestly I feel awful about it. My first test I nearly passed but I made 1 stupid mistake. I booked my second test for over a months time away and I became a much better driver in that time but I failed again and this time the test went worse than the first time! It's so true how every test is different. My second test was much harder with way more hazards and I ended up making misatakes that I would never make in my lessons. It's knocked my confidence massively as I am a huge perfectionist and not used to failing. Now I have to go through the stress of another test. I just want to pass so badly :(

I failed my test and everything that could've gone wrong, did go wrong. The break lights stopped working minutes before the test so I was late, I got a mean examiner who rarely passes people and a horrific test route. Not to mention I live in LONDON so it was busy anyways considering my test was 8:20 and I had to do reverse around the corner on a hill, it's like I was set up to fail. My next test is soon though and I hope to pass but we'll just see what happens, it can't go worse than the first one anyways 😂🤷🏾♀️

Easily. In England the test is difficult. Only takes a little thing and you've failed. I know of someone who failed 21 times.passed on the 22nd. It doesn't matter how many times it takes. As long as you get there in the end. Not all the best drivers pass first time
It isn't hard, I passed last Thursday first time, I thought to myself, all of the buildup and nerves for that piece of piss
Thanks for this, it made me feel much better as I failed for the third time on Saturday which was also my birthday and did worse than on my first two tests and I felt like giving up and not taking it again. This really helped me see its not that I'm a bad driver. Hopefully I'll pass on my fourth try like you did.

My driving instructor didn't understand how I kept failing as he said I'm a really good driver. One lady I had twice seemed to fail me on purpose at the same part of the route each time!
@@stephtastrophe fingers crossed! 🤞 the more you practice, the more natural it’ll feel during the test (it’s what I’ve been told) I’m also on my permit and didn’t pass 3 times so I wonder how long it might take to pass. Been hearing tips like follow the road signs and road markings which helps a lot as well as knowing the traffic and road rules, signalling, blind spot checks and mirror checks. It’s always the basic stuff that catches me off guard. Hopefully we’ll both do well on our next one ☝️

I should be able to do it in my sleep now 😂 although not as much lately as my instructor gave up and I've spent so much money and when I've switched instructor before they've took me back to the start and he said I was good enough and he didn't want to see me get ripped off by them. So just going to practice more in own car for now. True. It's always the silly little things that I've failed on. Things I've thought I've done. Everyone keeps telling me as well to exaggerate when you're looking in the mirrors which I'm going to have to do next time and sometimes they say I've not looked when I know I have. I'm sure we'll both get it next time ☺️

The trick is to relax and be confident at what u are doing and its safe to do so. Make sure u listen to the feedback provided by ur assessor’s on ur previous attempts. If u make a minor mistake on the road (but isn’t MAJOR), just correct it safely and confidently if ur able to!!

The examiner cannot drive you back to the test centre. He is not insured to drive the car. You would have to wait in the car whilst they walk back to get the instructor who has to drive you home.

After 2 fails I finally got my license! It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. You're bound to get someone who believes in you. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv agent that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again.
My little advice.
* If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver's license which you won't need to test drive.

Yes it’s not the end if you fail but it still really, really sucks because you gotta pay for more lessons - again…to prepare (already spent myself silly, so expensive) and you have to wait ages again to get a test date. Frustrating.

Failed my driving test today, 2nd time. It's so discouraging, especially cause I'm failing for silly things, first I failed for going too slow and today I failed for not stopping fully at the white line at junctions and roundabouts, apparently I was stopping too early/behind it. So frustrating cause its stilly things but still feels like it'll never happen for me😭

I just had a test today and failed bc I didn’t give way to a bus. It was stopped so o thought it was waiting you me but turns out you always need to give way to busses other than that my driving was all good. I will definitely pass 4th time 😁 this video is making me think of doing a driving test experience.
