I am so glad you are making this video series since you are the only one I have found that has done a 2000 series powershift rebuild. Thanks! Greenhill Garage
i have a 2745 with the 24 speed that was over hauld with around 300hrs on the power shift one day i was round baling hay and had to get out to work on the baler got back in and put the tractor in 4th gear and shifted it to low on the 3 speed let the clutch out and it killed the tractor, started the tractor back up and with the tractor in neutral it would still want to kill the tractor even in all gears had a mf mechanic come out drained the oil out and removed the bottom cover and found out the tractor was shifting properly put oil witch locked really clean and tried it again still would not move jacked up the rear end and we could spin each wheel the decided to pull the tractor and the rear wheels would just skid, what are your thoughts of what is going on.thanks
We have never converted back to the 8 speed before. It's not very easy because we need the high clutch pack in order for reverse to work. The only way you can change it back to an 8 speed would be with a completely different input section.
@@farmgpa Transmission Conversion Kits were offered to take the tractors from 24 speed to 8 speed, however there were two different kits, as the input shafts to the gearbox differed to each other slightly, depending on whether the conversion was carried out to a 6 cylinder engined tractor, versus one equipped with a V8 engine.

Wish you showed putting in the side cover 😂😂, great video! Having a terrible time getting my forks lined up inside 😏
That's the pressure plate for a versatile, the right one has the adjustment nut at the input
Like the looks of that 860 in the corner.
Sure hope this helps me to fix mine , mines been in back of barn for over a year now with powershift out.
Make sure to replace the front seal while your there. Just did a clutch in mine and the seal leaked after... nothing like doing the same job twice
Is there a way to get in touch with Clint.. I have some questions on this trans job.

Thanks for the video. Have you ever done a multipower in a 3525 massey?
Not yet!
What is the part number for the clutch assembly please?
Have you ever converted one back to an 8 speed?
