Many Thanks Prof for explaining in a nice way. May I ask that how to write ending line Of the research statement.

Thanks. I don't think you really need an ending line for the research statement.

A huge thanks for all of the great videos. I'm getting tons of help on every step of the job searching process.
I have one question. I've recently been asked to present a lifelong plan. Any tips you might have on this professor?
Would it be something close to a final goal of mine, as a researcher?

      Thanks!
Never heard of a life-long plan; but yes, I guess this would be like a long-term goal of your research. These are typically things like "better understanding of xyz", and then the challenge would be to chart a course of how this might be achieved. More typically, people ask for a 5-year plan. I would also include this in your presentation, the immediate things you plan to do, and how they relate to your long-term goals.

    Thanks, Prof.
Is there any draft of the research statement that I can lay hands on?

      My pleasure!
Draft example: no, not really. But maybe you can ask colleagues you know for examples.

Please a research statement and a research proposal is it the same

No, a research statement is what you include as part of your application package for a faculty position, and a research proposal is something your write in order to get funding. Your research statement can include research proposals you would like to write in the future.
