I'm making this tonight. I used build from maxroll hota/charge and dmg wasn't great on bosses. This looks like a perfect balance.

Crazy build. I’m currently using that charge skill with the ancient special. Plus enemies explode on death when you use charge. Using death blow and rupture. I’m level 58 and clearing my current dungeons easy. Fun build.
i think we ab have the same, but i’m running upheavals w legend that makes it deal 19% damage and the overpower drops 3 volatile orbs, after charge mobs if there’s still any group of any enemies use upheaval n it’s nice, i was 67 yesterday clearing dungeons at tier 18 lvl 73

Hi there - playing this build and it is a hell lot of fun. Yesterday I got lucky and found myself a shako. Can I just plug it in or do I have to change something?

i was playing this build but i didnt had those inuque and i tough it was very weak or something i was doing wrong. but with this guy explaining everything bit by bit perfectly now i understand what i was doing wrong, man thank you so much for wasting your time to put the build out there for all of us. i always loved the barbarian class in any game i can play with, and my own style was always using a big weapon and breaking down massive groups of demons or skeletons. i loved the 2 handed axes! but i miss the Mawdac 2 h axe from diablo 3. looks like Gorehowl! as it is my favourite weapon of all times in all games i ever played!

Imho it is super squishy, especially when running t100s. Tried it and prefer a more hota and fury regeneration oriented build that uses another defensive aspect instead of a unique helm. One shots everything but can stay alive much better.

i really hate that this game doesn't have loadouts. I've been running maxroll version of the hota/charge barb and i want to try this version. but if i don't like it i have to do my paragon board and put back certain aspects all over again. that sucks. I'm on the fence about trying his build though. looks mad interesting. thanks for the video

Played Charge/Upheaval all the way to 100 and just switched to HOTA yesterday. Liking it so far because it's faster than Upheaval, so easier to sneak it in after a Charge and keep running around avoiding baddies. Still working on my gear though.
I’ve been running something similar since the beginning of the season, but instead of Aspect of elements on gloves, I put ancestral charge in that slot, and use EarthStrikers on my weapon
brawler's aspect is also a good one to use but running out of slots for it...
So if you don’t have any of the items yet, how useful is this build until you get them?

what do you have that applies bleed because i see nothing and you have stuff that benefits from bleeding enemies?

Shako just replaces unique helm
Wear grandfather instead of 2h axe, ditch aspect of elements. Move aspect of limitless rage to 2h mace and move aspect of ancestral force to gloves

Why aspect of unrelenting fury instead of mother's embrace? Also why give up chieftains shoult cooldown? Also, I had 9 extra points in paragon, I put them into enraged and the nodes around, thoughts? Also, I notice a lot built on bleed but Im not sure what is actually causing the bleed. I ask truly curious and earnestly, I'm still learning. I appreciate your time. Thanks for the build.
Shouldn’t be anything in the setup causing bleed. Mother’s embrace needs you to hit 5 monsters, unrelenting fury works on single target.
I've seen peeps run Shako and melted heart, what is the point compared to this build?
I really love that setup to play but one thing i couldnt manage ,regen fury. I am always stuck after couple of seconds usingn hammer skill, what is way so i can regen my fury?
the pants buddy, they give u a big chunk, and in combo with the pet resource stone, it's more than enough
in boss kills, it's gonna die in first 3shots of hammer, if it didn't. with tibault pants u can rotate charge/shouts to get big chunks of fury
just swapped to this spec i do have some ubers no grandfather tho and just cleared a 92 nmd without a death, i did notice nice 100mil+ crits but definitely alittle squishy so just had to be ready for the healing potions. All in all def good build ty for the video
update did a 98 nmd vault of copper zero deaths just gotta get used to it

i followed the barb builds from china and i think the best for hota is pairing it with whirlwind, put in charge and leap for speed with weapon swapping
Why are we picking up the damage to bleeding enemies in the paragon board?
Using the aspect of echoing fury instead of Tibault’s will for fury generation and getting pants with ranks of charge is definitely a better set up.
Hi im am new to the game and love what i see. But how do you get fury all the time? At the moment i only get fury by spamming lunging strike.
You will need Tibault's Will to generate fury when you are using charge, and enchant charge will reduce your cooldown to 4 sec while hitting 3 enemies, and marshal glyph will reduce charge when you are using shout skill. Basically, you charge - hota - shout - charge - hota - shout and so on
Im a bit confused as to how to gain fury without a generator? Could you explain how the mechanics work with generating fury?
You can gain fury but using the multiplier without a builder is pretty much impossible. I can't get enough fury to do anything with this build. Without using that passive it's ok but still struggling to maintain. These builds are always too good to be true.
He's guessing, I'll bet he's using different things and theory crafting.
How do you level up dual wheel Maces to 10 with that load out?

It’s an endgame build so we don’t waste a slot on a fury generator
We use Tibaults will with charge to constantly give us fury, our construct gives us fury
If you’re lower level/geared then I’d recommend checking out my lvl 1-50 and lvl 50-100 builds instead on my channel

I dropped Elemental and moved limitless rage to gloves when I got my Grandfather.

Dude thank you, I’ve been so conflicted on what to swap ancestral change in for. Barb is literally so boring without it, but I kept leaving it out for the endgame.

Why is everyone so douchy about their choices in the game? Feel like I’m on reddit. Yeah I saw of few of those like raxx’s build and also followed the maxroll hota guide, but none explained the best aspects to carry with ancestral charge and what to swap out between nightmare 100 and bosses at endgame near as well as this one did. All they really gave where a few things to swap in for leveling. Don’t get me wrong though, I love raxx.

Out of those skills I use Charge and War Cry. I like my Chargin' Barbie over my Druid. She completed the Lunar challenges in 27 hours, (I had to sleep sometime), she's made almost 50M gold, I'm at like 75 in the Seasonal progress, she's fought with others vs Ashava and Wandering Death -died once. She's currently working on those PvP zone coins for the Blood Mount 42k/100k. Her run goes like this: T1 for Side Quests until 58ish, switch to T2, do the NM dungeon, switch to T3 at 60, do the dungeon at 69ish, switch to T4 at 70.
My goals are hit 100, get the expensive horse, and meet DieHarder, Elon Musk's D4 character.
I play this Build at Eternal Realm and the Dmg is also insane. My highest Dmg was 67Mio. But I don't understand how i trigger the Krit Overpower dmg. it dosent Krit in the first 3 Hits like the Clip in the Video. Is it cause I don't have the Season Mechanic?

I wouldn’t recommend it because you’re losing a lot of resistances. And we don’t really need our ultimate much for the build.

How on earth did you get a Ring of Red Furor (which looks like a legendary) item power 800 ring with 383 to strength? My 921 ring only has 56 to strength.

You just recharge fury when you kill monsters using charge
Any news on the build info?
I am so confused. I don't know how to get the requirements for the nodes on my paragon board. On his carnage board with the Ire glyph, he had 70 strength out of the required 40. I can only get 35 of the the required 40. There is just not enough strength nodes around that slot. What am I missing?
Upon completing nightmare content, like vaults you can level up the glyph. Once it hits level 15 the radius expands massively, therefore allowing you to add more nodes around it
Hi I was just wondering how you make sure you spend the 210 fury
Slam hota 3 times and NEVER PICK UP FURY COST REDUCTION as it makes you have to slam extra times to get the overpower from necklace and with all the fury on kill and resource gen you dont need the fury cost reduction
i set up the skill tree and skill bar as the same how can i do basic attack hota needs fury
Until you get enough resource generation, you can probably swap the Ultimate Skill for lunging strike. Then once you have the Aspect of Echoing Fury and The Tempest and Resource Generation tuning stones you probably won’t need a basic attack anymore
I Play with Harlekin and Grandfather .. what aspect can Go Out for Grandfather ?

Quick question, we're trying to use this build for my son, but how do you generate the fury now? Without using lunging strike I'm not sure how he actually can generate fury in order to attack anything. We're not smart, sorry.

Thx for the reply, he doesn’t have any of that yet, which explains why it doesn’t work right. We sacrificed wrath for lunging strike until he can get his build up a bit, can always hot swap on the go as well, thanks again!
I'm on the same boat I don't understand how they generate fury without a basic skill. I get fury back when I kill mobs but 1v1 I can't keep up my fury up without a basic

You get it with the charge just make sure the unstoppable icon above your head is gone before using it again or else there will be no benefit from the resource refill part of tibualts

Hi ! Can you please make a video on how to spend 300 fury, i am just not getting it.. I use all my buffs, then atack.. first hit is 50m second hit is like 999k, third hit is 200k .. my dmg goes down... iv done evrythinh and exaktly the same as you.. all my glyphs are 15.

No you should not use all your buffs initially
Use 210 fury by using 3 HOTAs pre boss fight on some trash mobs etc
Then on the boss use all your cool-downs, and then use 3 HOTAs - the third one will trigger banished lords and ring of red furor for that massive overpower crit

How is the survivability with this build, endgame wise?

Instead of elemental aspect for 7 secs swap out out for 25 dmg while barrier active and swap out adrenaline on pet for protect. Pick up 15% fortify legendary node for every 75 fury spent in paragon board. Then the build is more tanky and can survive 80 to 100 vaults Hella lot easier

I have not completed a singel NM dungeon since i switch to this build , i get insta 1 shooted from mobs in T75+..... i got 14k armor and 22k life and capped res all stons at max lvl... any suggestions?
You running tuskhelm? That gives more stacks of aggressive resistance which gives more damage reduction when berserking.
Have completed T100 NM dungeons with this build now, so not sure what’s happening! You need chest piece armour with damage reduction stats
I’m also dying from one shots now. And all my gear has the required stats. Wasn’t having this issue with maxroll build. I was easily cleaning 100s without dying

@i That's okay. Basically this is an endgame build, so we do not use any fury generators. Our pet (using resource stone with tempest) and tibault's will unique (every time we go unstoppable) generate enough fury.
If you don't have tibault's , then use shouts in combination with aspect of echoing fury on a ring for fury generation.
If you're below lvl 60-70, then try my lvl 1-50 or lvl 50-100 build guides which are better for people not with endgame gear

Even with bad gear that should hit for 50m+
@@MrRonit maybe doing something wrong, what's the best way to spend all fury. only what i know is kick but that is not here in skill tree. and what you mean triple hota combo. about items, i got good affixes, all uniques used in this build. now i changed back to charge and double swing to speedrun tier 80 to find some better items for this build. because really dont know what im doing wrong. with this hota i was struggling in tier 70, got onetapped.
You should be using strength plus all stats on your weapons instead of your current weapon aspects.
Question. How do you generate enough fury to use hammer of the ancients with this build? Charge or the shouts aren’t generating fury for me so I’m just stuck doing charge.
Tibault’s will and Seneschal construct. If you don’t have Tibaults or the other uniques, I’ve got a 50-endgame build for Hota/charge on my channel without any uniques

Tier 74 NMD i run that on my lvl 95 HC Druid
