This guy has some amazing qualities but his ego overshadowed his greatness. i.e he was praising her parenting skills which were wonderful but then he interjected himself. “I have done a good job pushing you to …” It doesn’t seem malicious so just be aware of how your ego gets in the way. It would have been nice if you’d just let it be about her in that moment.❤
