She was a little girl when I first saw her! Still sweet a person as ever! Oh I only learnt that this was an Irish air, I was always told that it was English!

Not sure I would have used the words "will never be surpassed", but I do agree with your sentiment. Deanna Durbin was an amazing 'bel canto' soprano. Hers was truly a beautiful rendition of this song.
