The speed on these matches is just at another level, even when these two play against other GMs on Bullet they still take some time to think, here I blink and half of the board is gone, not only they are going all out, you also feel like they are somewhat in sync, truly the greatest duo in chess.

Magnus greatest strength is the end game but it requires calculation something you can't do that much on Bullet Chess, the fact that he made this far is impressive and the reason why he is the world's number 1 overall.

Magnus is better at classical , rapid , blitz , and most forms of bullet this form of bullet really suits Hikaru as it is 1+0 so mouse speed will play a factor more
He may never win a proper classical or even rapid/blitz title but I can say with certainty he is definitely the second most gifted player of his generation and the second richest from chess related work. All well deserved. Debatable if he is top 4 of classical but theres no one with the speed and quality he has at short time controls. Boss player, may never win a big title tho.

On ICC where the real OG's played in the 90's three was lightning (2080 got it over 2000 then never played again ) blitz ( 2250) and standard ( 2333) . Fisher used to log on anonymously and mop GM's up . He toyed with Nigel Short 8-0 in lightning and played the bongcloud in all the games .
I just play classical now and I'll play rapid on occasion and blitz just for fun . Bullet is garbage chess where your opponent is the clock not your opponent

When I watch two of the best chess players in the world go head to head playing some of the most complex bullet games ever, what I definitely want from the commentators is to spend 15 minutes making cringe jokes about Nickelback.
