Trying to remake Zelda Ocarina of Time with Midjourney was tough! I had a hard time getting everything I needed, especially tricky stuff like the Ocarina, specific places, and items. It felt like the whole process would never end, like an endless adventure. There's a chance I might dive even deeper in a second video, exploring more locations and characters from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. So, just relax, enjoy the video, and make sure to tell me what you think in the comments!

One of the greatest films of the 80’s that never existed.
It probably exists in an alternate universe.
Where's my Portal Gun?
normaly i really hate so much those thing but im agree is look not that bad
A live-action Zelda movie with special effects the quality of what the Jim Henson Workshop used to produce in the 80s and with the same styles of cinematography as movies like The Neverending Story, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth would be absolutely magical.
Dude, that would be perfect.
I was going to say something similar. Major Dark Crystal vibes.
But alas, we do not live in a perfect world.
Thanks for recognising what we all want , need and dream of.
It’s unreasonable for directors and designers to ignore the demands of the internet! We know better.
It's be an absolute banger
This works incredibly well.... It's insanely organic with the ocarina of time aesthetic of the 90's.
Skulltula, Gohma and Redead: looking worse in a good and horrifying way.
Gorons and Ganondorf: have seen better days.
Ganondorf, yeah, but the Goron at 1:14 looks great
I love the Gorons
Ganon could look much much better. Two completely different skin tones on the face and hands?? Please 😂
Personally I thought different on the skulltula at least. I thought that the skulltula looked eh, could have done it better. But the gohma and redead were great. And I couldn't help but laugh seeing rauru as just an average owl lol
Loved this. Wish Guillermo del Toro direct a future Legend of Zelda movie
instead it's being made by the morons behind the minions movies..
I’m sad that this is not a movie
he would stick something politically stupid in it like he does for all his other movies, which would be so much greater without that aspect.
The first few young link looked so innocent like a typical child where all he things about is going outside to play. But in a later picture of young link holding a bomb, you can see his innocent in his eyes are fading after everything he faced up to that point. Young link was really forced to mature much faster as he was burdened with a task and typical child could ever fathom.
Later, he became the hero no one remembered, at least in the TP timeline.
The Hero of Time really has the saddest story.
This is so fking cool. Ive been wanting to see an Ocarina of Time movie since I was like 9, and this is a pretty enchanting representation.
I don't like this attitude great video games need to be turned into movies. The gameplay and story work together in video games. They don't translate well and movies aren't inherently a superior medium.
A video game is not exactly the same length of a movie. If anything a video game would need to be made into a tv show. Something long form with episodes would work better.
@sroth2021 I'm just saying if these were still shots from an actual movie I'd love to see that movie. I don't think all great video games need to be made into movies, and I don't like it when they stray from the source material, but video games always present as a digitally animated game with a hub on the screen and "press A" popping up and things like that, and if you enjoy certain characters and worlds enough you might think it'd be nice to see those characters and worlds represented in a more realistic way, without the lense of a video game. I know they're different mediums with their own respective strengths, but I'm not going to pretend I don't sincerely want a Zelda movie, and it's not like it would ruin the games if a movie or a short series existed. It'd just be more content for a thing people like.
I 100% agree with you, to bad we as humans are too dumb to hand off the source materials to the right people. It always someone who doesn't care about it or never watched or played the thing in the first place (I'm looking at you Halo tv show, leave masters chiefs damn helmet on, and stop making John talk down to Cortana, he would never tell her to shut up.)
@@bloodrival2100%👏🏻
@@bloodrival2 I know, it seems like a very obvious thing, if you're going to make a movie or a show based of of a franchise, you stick to the original story and lore and characters as much as possible, that's the what people want from an adaptation, nobody is ever asking for a "re-imagining". I agree about Halo, that's another one where I always would have loved a movie adaptation of the first game, like a sci fi horror similar to Alien or Starship troopers, I even read the book adaptation, but I have a hard time watching the show, I haven't even finished the first season yet.
Games Ganondorf: BIG EYEBROWS
this Ganondorf: no eyebrows.
Close enough
Also two completely different skin tones 🤷🏻♀️
I’d be willing to watch this even if it looks like an 80’s dark fantasy. Kinda gives it a charm
Well Zelda did come out in the 80’s.
This.... Really works
Best Zelda 80's dark fantasy 😲👌
Pretty sure it's just AI generated fast crap.
@@EricPeelMusic yes but good imagination :)
@@EricPeelMusic Let's see what _you_ can do!
@@EricPeelMusic
It's definitely AI Art, and though I myself think AI Art is super overblown and likely to lead to many, many issues that are overwhelmingly awful and make the concept not worth it overall, when it comes to pitching ideas and dark fantasy in particular I think there's a place for that.
There is a cool film that could be made with these ideas, and some of the ideas are genuinely cool.
Again; I don't think that AI Art should even exist, but seeing that it's here to stay I'm fine with pointing out when it does some cool stuff.
100% agree @StomachPlug
Heavy Neverending story vibes, love it!!!
dont forget the dark crystal either. XD
Still scared of whatever cast they're going to choose for The Live Action Film that got announced a few months back, but for sure, i rather go exactly with this 80's dark fantasy ai. Looks practical and oldschool, but for sure , what we want.
All AI cast would not bother me a bit
Came in expecting to laugh, and left emotional and wishing that this existed.
The Links honestly look great
What makes this is the fact you know exactly what/ who everyone is. Is day this video nailed the esthetic.
Zelda definitely wears Belenciaga
The Legend of the Dark Crystal: Ocarina of Time
I hope the Director Wes Ball is taking notes.
The Henson movie we never knew we needed
The labyrinth meets legend of zelda...amazing
That looks so cool! It’s old-timey style, like an old live action. It has an aura of fantasy.
The fact that most of this makes sense as part of what if Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time would actually be really dope. I love how they did adult Link and how they did most of the enemies.
This is so well done
1:07 is a breathtaking image we would never get from a modern film.
Hello everyone! Wow, that took me by surprise! I'm really impressed ! Thank you very much for all your comments. There are so many cool ones that really motivate me to keep going! I can't respond to every comment, but I will address the main points. Sorry, no Malon or Talon this time. I just couldn’t get a good picture of them; but I admit it bothers me too haha! And yes, Skull Kid makes an appearance in the film. I thought, why not include him instead of the lost children? The video is not perfect, I admit, but I did my best! By the way, would you be interested in an animated version of this video in the future? Thanks again everyone! See you later for “Jodorowsky’s Dune" ✌
Wtf thats amazing!!! Greetz from Berlin
It's amazing! Keep it up 🎉
Definitely to an animated version 👍 but, we really would love a Majora’s mask 80s Dark Fantasy film, with a dark version of the MM opening OST. Thanks for all your amazing dedication to your art, I think I speak for everyone here, it’s absolutely outstanding work 👍
Being a Zelda fan since it first came out this makes me so happy. Thanks for creating this!
This was superb. 👍
It captured our young Link’s trepidation and his overwhelming feeling.
Don’t stress the small parts.
You did a wonderful job in recreating a life like affect of the OG game.
The dead heads are terrifying as always.
But the Goron’s and Zora’s 👌
I am glad to have seen this.
Thank you
OK that's Lonk on that poster shot 😂😂😂
this is an incredible use of AI. hope you do more of it!!!!
The best YT video this year!
Agreed
If they did a movie based on this game specifically (or even majoras mask), this is the esthetic I grew up imagining. Honestly for the genre of the game, it seriously just fits. Not to mention I think it would a huge hit with how “nostalgic” focused some of todays media try’s to be
Yo.
This is epic.
I want to see it for reals as a movie.
This is awesome, thank you.
The a.i. panavisions are the coolest things ive seen, this is a close second.
this is what the announced live action should be like. instead we’ll get a “he’s right behind me isn’t he” piece of crap
Some of the characters/effects varied in quality (A real shame they struggled to find a Ganondorf that captured the game's air of sinister shrewdness and effortless confidence as opposed to 'generic orc-like deep-voiced baddie'), and some of the enemies had an 80s horror film vibe to them, but most of the locations were very faithful, vibrant recreations (Plus Excalibur is apparently canon in Hyrule), the likes of Impa, Zelda and Sheik were great interpretations but the absolute highlight was Link himself. They got him *perfect*, the adult looked exactly how I'd imagine him to instead of some famous, vaguely-resembling actor with cosmetic ears, but child Link was somehow even better. Visually faultless in aesthetics, but to even have that intense, unwavering stare that says 'I know what's at stake here, I've had heavy, childhood-ending burden placed upon my young shoulders, but I've taken up the mantle of Courage and discovered I wear it well'...big kudos to everyone involved and it makes me hope for a genuine quality realisation of this amazing concept one day. Nintendo have given us hope with their recent forays into films, you never know.
Feels like I've seen parts of this as a kid
Let's also put an in quicksand slowly drowning Epona in the movie so an entire generation will have a collective trauma. (for those who understand the reference)
“Don’t let the sadness of the swamps get to you!”
Aaaaartaaaaax!! 😢
Yeah, we'll never get movies like this again. Sad. This one would be great.
This looks better than what we will actually get.
If I see that someone is producing a movie that looks like this, I will go and see it, because it'll mean they've gotten over current day hang-ups, which it something that should be rewarded. The gorons, Ruto and the gerudo look wonderful, and Zelda is how she should be. Very nice.
This is so full of details
I didn't like how the triforce looked at the end, but I would have watched the hell out of this as a kid if they had made it.
this video didn't disappoint lol
Can someone please bring BACK 80s style dark fantasy with the practical effects
The Redead and Gerudos are great
It reminds me of Legend the Last Unicorn, and thar is perfect.
Practical effects ftw! 😉
AI generated BS.
@@EricPeelMusic Stop being butthurt, you insecure clown. AI is fantastic.
@@EricPeelMusicyep fuck AI
@@mikebrushing1851Thank you.
Cant wait to watch this ai film!
I mean make this ai film!
I mean, anyone can do this with ai? Okay then..
1:50 I wanna say the master sword design here looks better than the one we have ngl, the wing crest design is fireeee
Alternate universe me loved was OBSESSED with this movie as a child
I really want a live Zelda movie, a good one, this series has so much potential for it. With some good actors, a fun story and good CGI, they can do it, the fanbase is there, someone just needs to get it going.
There actually is one being worked on right now!
Nintendo is making one, I was hoping for it to be a Ghibli Film, but it's live action.
I think that they should keep 80s dark fantasy instead of relying on CGI
I love it. Dark Crystal vibes. Love the way the Gorons look.
Gorons were horrifying.
OMG This is amazing. It's like Zelda meets Neverending Story
Trop fort, comment tu as fait ça ? 🤨😳😍
I A
This could work so incredibly well.
This is amazing! I would watch that for sure
That's magical. Would be a better movie back than if it was made today.
This is like torture. I want this more then anything now and I can never have it 😢 why have you done this to me?
I would watch this now! That looked awesome
Fascinating, I propose Majora's Mask to be the next one 😊
This would be super rad.
Its make me think about what a modern take on dark fantasy would look like today's tech and cameras with animatronics and robots, just decked out in prosthetics and puppets. It would be a perfect cinch id ride that saddle proud, cant be much more expensive, have you seen the CGI and VFX section of a shows credit!
Only thing I'd say lacks is audio and light quality is too good
It's really interesting that AI added horns to Ganondorf's head
This is amazing! 😍
“Within this Land of Hyrule, one hero will answer the call to save this land from darkness. The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! A live action spectacular directed by Ridley Scott. Based on the game by Shigeru Miyamoto.” My teaser trailer idea
"You Elda ZELDA __Ast Da'a" coming to theatres June 1989
I was looking for this comment 😂
Never Know you could start a movie in hollywood films $$$ chances 9 out of 10 . Perfect detail ❤ love it
This is awesome, I'd love for the movie we're getting to have practical effects but my guess is it'll be full or nearly full CGI, which can look good like Godzilla for example, but I don't know I prefer practical effects because then you watch it and it feels tangible and not like watching a really good video game cutscene
This is how I remember the graphics from back then.
I would watch this repeatedly.
If this isn’t what the Zelda movie is going to look like, I’m rioting.
Let's face it, this all would have terrified us as kids but we'd grow up to be obsessed with it.
Holy Fuck I'd buy that movie 10 times
If the design aesthetic is even half as good as this, I think we’ll be in good shape for the live action movie coming out. 😂
I have nostalgic memories when these videos were popular a year ago
That is one brave kid
I have never really thought about it till now but that owl is almost like the owl in Bohemian Grove a huge owl. Looks
Like a lot of other symbolism also.
This is beautiful for an A.I.
Genius. Would watch 100%
This would absolutely rock today
This reminded me of The Labyrinth and the old Chronicles of Narnia films. This looks like a movie I would watch. You earned a sub from me. God Bless you and have a great day! :)
Also, what would Majora's Mask look like in this style? A similar world with the same Link.
The Movie you are all thinking of is called Legend. It starred Tom Cruise, Mia Sara and Tim Curry.
Its like a mix between laborynth, dark crystal and the never ending story with Zelda skins applied
Trop cool, la classe !
Enemy monsters designed by Stan Winston would be epic
Though maybe we should make the Gorons a wee bit less terrifying 😳
I’ve never once commented on one of these videos…until now…holy fuck a duck does this just work, everything about it just seems to be right, erm, if this film ever gets made, this is exactly how it needs to look and feel, no modern day crap, only this, OMG, I’m actually amazed at how good it looks.
2:47 nah they did him dirty wit dat one
Yes! Yes! This is the Legend if Zelda movie I want to see
This was _cool!_ ^_^
Also, eye-shine Darunia is kind of terrifying. 8D;;;;
The Gorons looked cursed. Honestly the most terrifying thing in this video
Why did this make me cry
The only bad thing is that if this becomes canon when Twilight Princess comes out I'm going to start crying when the shadow of the hero (the skeleton) appears and teaches her his techniques link
0:41 wow Majoras Mask so terrifying
esta buena, aunque no hubiera sido exitosa por lo menos seria de culto ¿es tan dificil para Hollywood hacer esto?
Very good. Thank you.
If this was a real movie I'd watch it.
and ai still put Link as right handed
i cant be more dissapointed on something more than that
Great ❤
Wauw!
Where to buy the release on disc? 😂
On vhs tape you mean ? 🤣
@@PopChronik Wauw, well... ehhhm. Already time for a remaster on 4k BluRay? I just want to see that Lizalfos at full deep color.
Make the new Zelda movie look like this! This is awesome!
Nintendo can’t stop this AI
So beautiful
