Filipina mothers by nature are very loving and nurturing, yet very protective of their children and a great disciplinarian too, as shown by Ms. Rhian Ramos' character. If you misbehave as a child, expect many forms of punishment from your mother, the options are endless: from flying slippers, shoes, broom, hanger, etc.😅
Great choice of casts, because they bring the emotions of their characters as realistic as possible. Nice to know also that the 3 of you have a part on this historical drama. Mabuhay kayo!

Pulang araw literally means the red day since the world war 2 is being shown in the series that signifies the bloody days of the era but the other meaning of it is The Red Sun since it is about the era during the Japanese war in the Philippines and hence signifies the red sun of the Japanese flag.

Pulang Araw is a masterpiece~! Nagtataka lang ako kasi walang translation yung mga Japanese script sadya ba talaga yun? Medyo naiintindihan ko naman nasanay lang ata ako sa Maria Clara at Ibarra na may translation kahit small phrase ng Spanish nung pinanuod ko online. Sa Pulang Araw napa-Japanese immersion ako haha.
Kakabilib na naenjoy nila Hiro and Iwa yung show kahit may mga malalalim din na tagalog.
