    You just scratched the paint with a dirty brush. The black paint will show that around the intake on the rear fenders especially in bright sunlight.

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t use a dirty brush.
      That’s why the pre-wash stage is so important, and using a different brush to the wheels to help eliminate the risk.
      I wash my vehicle weekly as it has my logo on it and it looks as good as the day I initially machine polished it over 2 years ago 👍🏼

  • @K.Wesselhoff

    Why not use a microfibre wash-mitt? They collect way more dirt then chenille ones

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They hold on to sort more as well, so increase the risk of marring the finish

    • @K.Wesselhoff
      @K.Wesselhoff 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HarpersCarDetailing Don't really get that answer but it's fine to have different opinions-. Im mine the mitt you are using just pushes the dirt and grime in front of it while the microfibre ones pick it up and absorbs it to the bottom of the fibers. There are more than enough tests on TH-cam that showcase that. But you do you, nice Videos anyway!

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I meant to say they I have found that if they hold more dirt then there is more chance of marring the next panel, whereas the chenille rinses very easily so stays cleaner.
      In all honesty there probably won’t be any difference in them. As long as it does the job for you and and keeps the surface scratch free 👍🏼
      There are videos showing using that using optimum no rinse and their red sponge is safe, but there’s certainly no way I will be trying that 😂

    • @K.Wesselhoff
      @K.Wesselhoff 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HarpersCarDetailing True. If you use the 2 bucket method and rinse you mitt regularly it doesn't really matter. The car shouldn't be badly contaminated at that stage anymore either way. So I guess you're right.

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah exactly.
      I would happily use a microfibre mitt as well, and like you say the most important part in my opinion is the pre-wash stage
