    Sir I just discovered your channel and have binged half the playlist. Love the quality content. Looking to start my own detailing channel as well.
    That being said, what camera and equipment do you use/recommend?

      Hey!
      Thank you! I’m glad you have enjoyed it!
      Up until the grey Porsche Macan video I used my iPhone 11.
      Now I use my Canon 250d with the kit lens, or a nifty fifty lens for closer more sharp interior shots. 👍🏼

    What cleaning products did you use to clean the seats? Would mild soap and water work?

    Hi, great job as always. One question, I know you don't want to discuss your exact prices for details but can you say how much you charge for meintenance interior detail in percentages in comparison of full interior detail? Like 70% of price of full detail? Or does it vary from car to car?

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Thanks!
      I don’t usually do just interior details but it probably would be 65-70% but every job is different.
      I ideally like to see the job if it’s a new client before quoting

    Great video, I can’t believe how much effort you put in.
    I’ve recently picked up my 2017 Macan and I’ve discovered a massive white chemical stain on the back of passenger seat. He says it must of happened during the final valet
    I’ve shown the dealer and he says he’s going to have the seat plastic resprayed. Is this how you would rectify it?

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Martin!
      Are they similar seats or all leather?
      I don’t know what the white mark it but I would try and clean it properly first but any respraying

    Hey man do you not extract the chemicals from the carpets/floor mats? Just curious but love your videos. Definitely better than DG

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, if I completely submerge the fabric in the chemical then yes, but if it’s only a light clean like this then I’ll try and mop up as much with a damp microfibre and vacuum the rest.
      I tend to use a steamer more than an extractor as I don’t like to over saturate the fabric as if it doesn’t completely dry quick enough then it could lead to mould issues 👍🏼

    • @HarpersCarDetailing

      That’s exactly what I use.
      The clients numberplate needs to be clean and completely dry. When sticking the suction pads to the back of your numberplate it needs to be wet and completely dry when sticking to the clients numberplate

    Why glass cleaner on the buttons, and have you ever had the white lettering come off
    I use Nexzett cockpit clean UV blockers but have to buff the residue away does not air dry
    to my liking.

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use it more on the gloss areas, but leaves a streak free finish and flashes quickly.
      It’s not to strong a glass cleaner so don’t have to worry. Saying that, I wouldn’t use it on a car with sensitive buttons
