This looks exactly like my old sled!!! Had the red plastics on the skis as well, are the footwarmers still with the sled?!

Thanks for the review. Looking at one exactly like that for. $1k. I'm glad you disclosed your height and weight. Being 6"3" 210 myself I always feel way too big on the older sleds. Looking for something affordable to take the kids out and also "keep up" with my friends crotch rocket on skis aka 800cc+ newer sleds.

It has been a great old reliable sled for me and wish you the best of luck if you grab one. I think you’ll like it.

I’ve had great luck with Partzilla for ride specific and Royal Distributing for generic parts.

Your vmax. Fuel mileage issue. Have the carbs cleaned an recalibrated. Should increase to 180-220km depending on your riding speed. Had one an it was mint back in the day. Enjoy.

How many kms per tank do u get ?

    • @patricksmotors9070

Around 100 km per tank. Does not seem to matter much on how you drive from what I observed.

That’s damn near bone dry. Generally I fill up around 80 k but a couple of times
      I’ve had to push it.

If you still have the sled try loosening the track off and see how the fuel mileage changes or if it does at all. Yamaha seemed to think those tracks fiddle string tight for some reason. Also if you can find a 1 or 2 tooth smaller top sprocket in the chain case as they are over geared from factory.
