Good app tho. And I am loving my dmh-wt3800. Fricken great unit.
Mine shows that it isn’t connected to Bluetooth. Phone shows that there are two connected, the 4660 and the 4660 with alphanumeric afterwards. Cant get TH-cam to show up or anything.

Great video.. I'm having issues getting my unit to sync. I own the DMH-WT8600NEX. I followed all the steps, went into phone settings, and allowed all access pertaining to the CarAVAssist. Still not getting the blue logo at the top upper left. My hot spot is on..Preciate the feedback
I don't have the answer, but my friend and I were discussing this type of difficulty with much of the newer tech. It kinda reminds me of the old DOS command days when using a computer. A lot of this new stuff is just not user-friendly. Hopefully you have yours all set now. I have the 7600NEX floating screen in my truck and I feel like I need to go to school to learn how to use it, haha
Instead, i saw the browser icons on every TH-cam video only on dmh zfs9350bt. Cannot see the browser icons on zf8550bt

I can't get the browser to connect. It says that I need to accept the terms of internet communication. I can't find where I can accept it. What should I do?
It's in the main settings page within System settings. Should be the very last entry.
@@Kyosama08 does not work. Internet does not work. Cannot connect to internet. App also won't download
Use the Settings on Pioneer scroll to bottom “Terms of use / Privacy” here you need to scroll down 3 or 4 pages until the box lights up and allows you to tick it then press accept!

i try to send the home screen changes and when i click the transfer button, it says i’m missing a update, when i updated it, it still says the same that im missing possibly missing a update

Well, if you want to watch TH-cam and keep your engine running. Ah, those high gas prices! 🙂 It is strictly not advisable to watch anything with the car set to accessories. That is, unless you want to jump start your battery.

This video has no vice narration explaining anything. I’m so dissatisfied & If I had to do it over I would not purchase my DMH W4660 … The carAV assist is not straight forward. I could go on & on. Just 1 ? Is exactly when should I connect Wi-Fi as opposed to Bluetooth, as opposed to hotspot… so confusing. Some times it auto connects one way & something doesn’t work. Also sometimes the CarPlay navigation is off…. And starts me off in the wrong location or take to a incorrect location. In short so disappointed with this whole experience. DMH-4660NEX.
Also, when I’m driving down the road, the car AV assist wants to keep coming on my phone , even when I don’t want it this is so annoying.
Yeah and have you tried to get the USB to work. Impossible. The person who approved the operation of this unit should be fired

Why is this model not detailed on your site, either on where to find it, or on the actual price? what are the differences between the two DMH models? What are the differences with the Nex 4660? You guys are very confusing.
Hi. This TH-cam Channel is for the Middle East and Africa regions. The NEX series is exclusive to the North American region with local specifications. Our DMH-Z6350BT is similar to North America's DMH-W4600NEX and the DMH-W4660NEX.
North American models are customized for the local market like the Tuner specifications, Sirius XM Radio Ready, iDataLink support, etc.. whereas our specifications are different to suit our part of the world.

Hi, to use the weather information, please make sure your head unit is connected to the internet via the Wi-Fi network. To access and customize the Weather functionality, touch the [Homescreen] button and swipe left on the screen then touch [Weather].

Hi, to customize your Homescreen content and layout, go to your CarAVAssist app. By "long pressing" on the functions, the "Remove" option will appear. Check it out at 2:04 of this video.

@@sevenpa1596 make sure you do it threw the phone. Mine did the same, until I did it threw the phone and transfered settings to the unit there caravassist. Customize it threw the phone and then transfer to unit
