A short film by CHILDLINE India to educate everyone about child sexual abuse. Komal is like any other bright, sensitive and happy 7 years old. Her new neighbour- Mr. Bakshi, who moved in with his wife, is her father's old friend. Komal bonds with the affable Mr.Bakshi, with whom she has a whale of a time. Until Komal discovers Mr.Bakshi's bitter reality, our CHILDLINE Didi explains to children the concept of safe and unsafe touch so that they can be better equipped to protect themselves and take help from trusted adults if ever caught in a similar situation.

Child abuse can happen with boys too . One of my friend was a victim of child abuse he told me about he was sexually abused by one of his family member. When he was telling me his incidence he cried a lot in front of me . A proson who ruined his a childhood has no regret . And my friend lived his childhood in dark . I was also in tear that time 😥 .

I am also a victim of. This when I was 14 there was a driver of ours who worked at my home from when I was 5 he was like a family member one day he touched me wrong places and I ran away I wanted to tell my parents but I was too embarassed and then he kept doing that again and again and then one day in a TV program I saw a similar case and how the abuser got punished then I told all these things to one of my friend he supported me then and then I decided to put an end to this few days later when the driver tried to do the same thing I pushed him and slapped him on face he was shocked and I screamed so hard that my father came running to the garage I started beating that jerk with stick after I saw my father I ran to him a cried and told him everything . After he got punished took counciling sessions and now I'm much more of a confident person I still feel disgusting about everything but then I feel relieved that I spoke it out

I’m almost thirteen rn, I remember in 2015 when I was 5 in UKG this video was shown in our class. I’m thankful to my school for showing us this video and it really helped us understand the basic concept of good and bad touch. Idk why I’m watching it again after 8 years but I’ll just say it’s an Amazingly simple and easy to understand representation of such a big and complex issue.

i was abused several time i was 7 when i was touched for the 1st time in a railway station,my father's brother touched my private part when i stayed at his home,when i was 13 my mother's frind invited us to hav a meal her husband touched me again,i was violated by my classmate,i was 16 when i started working for my side pockets money two of the customer touched me as a chubby girl i was sure i didn't fit in present standard it was terrifying for me i hated it but as time pass by i was cured but its still a dark pass for me lastly i would say abuse is not your fault i hope world can be a better place one day

When we were in 5 and 6 STD in our school some madam from child helpline they shown uss this video but we didn't understand that and after 6 th in 8 they again show us then we understand it this video is very great full to see on TH-cam ❤️
They should show this video to kids in school- it explains sexual abuse perfectly. I remember when I was a kid our school had this option for kids to stay back after school in case our parents couldn't pick us up or were working (I lived in a place were babysitters weren't found easily). It wasn't at school- they had an entire separate building jus for those few hours everyday, and I'd stay back a lot. One day (I was like 7 at the time) I was playing dress up with all my friends and I went behind the curtains to change and I needed help so I called one of my friends' names. But instead a bunch of older guys came in and I tried to ask them to leave, they didn't. One of them kept insisting he'd help and well, in the process, he did shit I don't think I need to explain. I had no clue what sexual abuse was until 5 years later when they showed us this very video in our school (yes I did change schools dw). I was bullied a lot too so I pretty much thought it was normal, even though it felt so wrong I thought it wasn't that bad. I didn't even realise how bad it was till later on in my life. I haven't told a soul till date cuz no one cares about smth that happened so long ago and I don't even remember or know who it was or where he is now. Goes to show how imp it is to educate kids at a young age.
Please always remember it was not your fault. I understand not much can be done now, but I don't want you to feel bad about what happened in the past when you did nothing to affect yourself. I Hope it didn't affect you in anyway. Sending love and blessings ❤️❤️💕

Mai zor zor se rone lagi phir unki mummy aa gyi wo uncle jaldi se mujhe mere ghr chore... Phir mai rote rote ghr gyi .. didi ko dekh kr sab chij bhul gyi thi ... Ab mai 16 ki hu mujhe meri teacher ne yeh movie dekhne ko kaha ... This was shown to us once in the third grade and then again in the fifth.
Now that I am in the tenth, this isn't just a video for me. This is very special and I think, indeed, every child should be shown this video and taught that:
a) It's not your fault and it's okay for people to know about a past trauma like this.
b) Anyone, even your very much trusted family members can make you the victim. Hence, don't feel bad about it. Assault is neither a misunderstanding nor a game when it comes to absolutely ANYONE.
c) And finally, this is not just bounded to girls. Boys too (stats say boys suffer more sexual abuse than girls) are a victim, and when they talk about the difficulties they faced due to another person's actions and misbehaviors, we should treat them the same way we would treat a girl.
What could be the best lucid explanation than this? I have gone through similar situations when I was a child. Now at 21, I sometimes feel that those black incidents have left some emotions ungrown within me. Those incidents have made me an introvert...but am fighting...everyday...

Bruh actually i had a neighbour who was like this when i was 9. Luckily our houses were sort of connected and my parents never left him to babysit me or left me alone. But i used to go to his apartment to play, cause he knew how to lure kids in with toys and candies and games. I am so lucky it didn't go past touching, and the worst thing is i met him again after all these years and i have to smile and act nice, because who will believe me? That's what i thought back then too. PLEASE believe victims when they ask for help.
