Fami is more like a "rogue" player, compared to Miho who enjoys staying in the pocket. You see more and more of this kind of playing. Like Mina (Mike Shinoda - Already over, Japan), Wakazaemon (East of Eden, Marty Friedman group), Kanade (Lovebites audition, NEK!).
Do I want something for Christmas? One "little" thing: an announcement by Lovebites that in 2025 they will do another extensive UK/Europe tour. I had the privelege to see them this year in Lindau, Germany - and that was a night to remember for a very, very long time. To say it bluntly: I want more of this miraculous band. Please, ladies - make this member of the Wolfpack a happy man. And about this song: absolutely breathtaking how they pull it off live - it's impeccable, supreme authority. And as a beautiful bonus there's the pleasure of watching the best and happiest drummer on the globe: the incomparable Haruna. What an excellent musician, what an adorable woman she is.
Where did they announce the extensive European tour next year? BTW, I was also at their concert in Lindau - and the Meet & Greet afterwards (as well as in Belgium) - and it was fantastic! Lovebites are my favourite "old school" metal band, even though they only occasionally play songs from my favourite old school metal subgenre, which is Thrash Metal.

Amazing doesn't describe them strong enough. To embrace a past forgotten metal sound from the best era of metal ever (late 70's to early 90's), and to do so at elite/virtuoso levels, it's breathtaking. There is no weak link in this band, none, period. The amount of hours they must practice to be as close to technical perfection as it gets, and to have choreographed stage moments while looking like they are having a blast, is refreshing. This one band now stands alone as my favroite band ever. Miyako now stands alone as my favorite musician ever - I grew up playing piano, and I love thrash/speed metal the most, and to see Miyako do both, and to do so playing two instruments at virtuoso levels, as well as composing/arranging, just hits home to me.

Welcome to the Wolfpack sir, 🤘 Their dressing style is very feminine and elegant, it doesn't show that they are a metal band, there is no style like them in the whole world with the metal genre and their skills are above average.
I think one of the easiest things to do with Lovebites is to become a fan of Haruna (drums). With Miyako (Gutiar) it always takes the longest but is then the most intense. But one thing is certain, in the end you are enthusiastic about every single musician in Lovebites, including Miho, you pay attention and look forward to every little thing. I have never experienced that with any other band, it has nothing to do with male or female, I am tough, who can do what and how does it fit together, with Lobeites it is just Jedi level. With most bands something or someone always bothered me. The Lovebites sound is unmistakable, a snippet is enough. Lovebites has just finished the first quarter of their career, and they work and practice like crazy and see a lot of room for improvement 🫢 The band is in the top heavy metal league. For me they are right at the top 😀 but everyone has to decide for themselves 🫡

Your life now has meaning.
Hahaha, so good!
I've known about them for two years now, and seen them live twice - once a few feet away from them, and once about 10 feet away. Still blown away with every performance I see from them, every reaction, and it is still hard to believe they are real. And I know they are, and I know they do it. I was so close to M&M playing solos that I could have touched them. I think this is the best written, best performed metal song of all time. Crazy how well they can play and sound live. All of them, not just the guitars. It's crazy. And yes, Haruna is one of the greatest drummers. She's awesome.
I think you should check out some thrash from them next. You've got a few choices but I'm going to recommend Break the Wall, which in my opinion, is the best thrash song of all time (ok yes, I will freely admit I am biased as hell lol) th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html My personal favorite is Thunder Vengeance, also thrash. It is the opener to that same show. Probably my favorite because it is what made me fall in love with them, but that song just goes like a runaway train and doesn't stop. How I love that song too th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html Hammer of Wrath is a great suggestion too. They open their shows now with that nowadays.
Yep, I'll do break the wall next. Thanks for your comment and suggestions Eric.
@@thevikingbuddha It's a great one! Unlike others you have seen. I predict you'll like it (but well, that's a given lol)
If you like synchronized guitar playing, don't miss these three songs. ;)
Nameless Warrior ; We the United ; Signs of Deliverance ; ---> All live, of course. :)
Thanks.
Welcome to the Wolfpack sir, 🤘
Their dressing style is very feminine and elegant, it doesn't show that they are a metal band, there is no style like them in the whole world with the metal genre and their skills are above average.
Agreed. Thank you.
The Holy Trinity = Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila!!!!
100%
haruna(drums) is my fav all yop tier but she puts in the most effort pfff she is unbelieveble!!
Good points.
Elite musicianship.
If you want a masterpiece Thrash song from Lovebites, listen to “Break The Wall” Live! 🤘
Yeah, I've got that on my list.
I was hoping you'd react to a few more of their songs before this one as it is hardcore LOVEBITES exceptional brilliance. As are some of their others. Let us know what is on your LOVEBITES to do list then I know what you're missing. 😊
It's hard to know what order to do them in as so many people have different opinions. I've got another 15 song son the list currenty, including Break the wall, edge of the world, swan song and A frozen seranade.
@@thevikingbuddha Here's a couple more. Let me know when the list gets a bit short.

Lots of comments already. Quick Info: Midori (your favorite . so far) and Miyako are 'hard-panned' in the mix. Midori's guitar will always be in your Left ear, and Miyako will be in your Right ear.

Lovebites are an amazing band and you have yet to hear Miyako play the piano - could I suggest Swan Song with the Chopin intro th-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/w-d-xo.html be prepared to be amazed
Yep, I'll be doing that soon.
This song is not my favorite, I prefer songs like "The Bell In The Jail" and "Dystopia Symphony", but I think this song is a good representation of the power of Lovebites. It shows what they are capable of. A lot of fans really love this song.
I think it's amazing, but it's not one of my favorites. I prefer prog and melody over sheer speed.
As do I, so I'll check out your recommendations.
I think that in terms of music and structure, 'Dystopia Symphony' is the best of Miyako's best songs as a composer. It's a shame there is no video of 'Dystopia Symphony' being performed live.
@GrayFox14 Cool, I'll check it out.
@@GrayFox14 It's a little strange that it keeps getting left out of the set-lists. It's a fan favorite. I think it also might be one of the more difficult songs to perform.
@@TheCyberMantis I agree with you. Perhaps LOVEBITES will be performed at concerts in 2025. The ladies promised to include songs in the set lists that have not been performed at concerts before
The composition of this song is just on another level. Miyako (dark-haired guitarist) composed it a few years ago. You say Midori's (blonde guitarist), your favorite. There are a few songs that show Miyako's other worldly skills that may make you rethink that. You'll see. 😊 This is my favorite song from any band ever. I'm a soon to be 52yr old US metalhead. I've seen the Big 4, Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, Ozzy, etc and Lovebites eclipsed them all in every aspect. 🤘
That's high praise indeed, especially given the bands you've listed there.
来月の1月、ライヴに行くよw。前回もチケット買ってたけど、体調崩して行けなかった。心臓止まって、今じゃペースメーカーのサイボーグになってるよ。
I'm jealous.

The pest performance on drums in my opinion is on 'Nameles Warrior' .....live for sure.
