- Welcome back to another travel vlog through Bosnia! In this vlog we are exploring
Jajce and Visoko.
The first stop on our road trip was in the quaint city of Visoko. We went to this town to see a cluster of natural hills that have been claimed to be the largest human-made ancient pyramids on earth. We enjoyed hiking to the top and taking in the amazing views of the city.
The next day, we left Visoko and drove to a beautiful town called Jajce. Jajce is home to a gorgeous waterfall that cascades down into the very heart of the city. There are many things to do in Jajce such as hiking up to the fortress, visiting Pliva lakes, exploring the catacombs, and eating your way through the beautiful Old Town. We took advantage and did it all!

Great video of a beautiful county of Bosnia . More people should come over and visit . Small country with so many different attractions. Also it’s a lot safer then most of other places in Europe. Thank you for presenting Bosnia to the world

You should have visited Bijambare (which is a national park) near Sarajevo. The caves and the nature there are breathtaking

@@SammyandTommy Yes and if you're lucky enough, you'll see a very rare fish species, you can even call it a dinosaurus lol, it's called covjecija ribica (human fish or baby dragon in English)

I believe it's a Herzegovinian town of Jablanica. Well known "lamb destination".
My grandparents live their and will go in 2 days their to meet everyone and I have been in jajce every summer for like 15 years XD

"Miscellaneous applications" lmao... You can find funny menus all over BiH. I have seen "salary for 2 people" in the menu, instead of "plate for 2 people". In Bosnian the word is "plata" and it is a homonym for salary and plate :)

I know this was filmed before covid, but does anyone know if covid tests are required at the Balkan border crossings? We're traveling almost the same route as Sammy & Tommy - Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnai-Herzegovina- and I wonder
if the countries have some kind of agreement, so that we only need to be tested in the first country, or is it at every single border crossing? It appears that Montenegro just dropped its testing requirement. I sure would appreciate the help. I'm doing lots of research, but it can be confusing.

This is such a great comment 👊 I completely agree Ajizar! Everyone needs to visit this place to witness how resilient, brave, and accepting these people are. It gives me hope that people who have suffered so much can still find a way of acceptance and love! I wish everyone could witness their hope and forgiveness and apply it to their own lives.
Matthias Corvinus set up the "Banovina of Jajce" in 1463 AD it was the last remaining free Christian territory in Bosnia. The town of Jajce fell to the Ottoman Turks in 1527 AD after decades of resistance.

Are these places free from landmines? I know there was a war in the 90s.
You definetly need to visit Ljubuški, Stolac, Tuzla and Zenica (for some socialist architecture) and the secret Yugoslav Airforce Base in a mountain near Konjic.

I was tricked in Bosnia in Jajce -Autoland Jajce - street Dalmatinskih brigada 1 for 1200 Marks so you better watch out in Bosnia! I write this becouse Police tok side of these people so I didnt had a chanse. Bosnia doesn't goes forward with a reason. These people don't show respect at all.
