I ordered 4 items from Wish at the beginning of June.. to date I have not received anything. All the items I ordered had good comments and the blue tick (Wish quality guarantee). When I requested a refund from Wish, they said my window for a refund had expired but gave me credit on Wish as consolation. That being said... I have 2 friends who have bought from Wish and actually received their items, and we all live in the same area. Just seems like there is no way of knowing for sure or having any guarantee that you will actually get anything you order..
Hi thanks for a great video; In South-Africa everything is expensive and when it comes to customs and tax we almost have to give an arm and leg. I have recently heard about this Wish.com site and your experience will really help me. Thanks I will keep your link and post as soon as I have ordered something to let you know how it went. I am from Port-Elizabeth. I couldn't believe when I saw the discounts and wondered if anyone on your page has ever bought bigger electronics if they had any issues with customs. Thanks
beatris iversen the highest amount of tax I’ve ever paid was R50, 00. The product and shipping costs were refunded to me because it was late. As soon as it is late request a refund immediately.
@@bibiumara8580 - Well honestly I received one purchase the rest not.. when I inquired about it they said they will give me not a refund but credit... I am sorry but I will never order from them again....
Good day all, I am so very happy for those who received their parcels, sadly I have made a number purchases/orders, waited the lengthy shipping period for nothing because to date I have yet to receive a single parcel out of about 9 orders I have made. most of the responses from wish is computer generated however I admit I did get refunds but had to wait for the shipping delivery to expire, the waiting transition period is annoying and a waste of time before you get a refund. My comment is fact and has good intention and not prejudice any persons or property. My orders originate from South Africa.

Jason GLHW when you receive your letter once the parcel has arrived at the post office they will give you a quote on the tax you owe. You pay what you owe at the post office and you will receive your parcel. Sometimes there is no tax on the item and sometimes there is. The highest I have ever paid was R50, 00
I only bought accessories, some cosmetics and clothing items from Wish thusfar but in any case scenario you will be paying a handling fee of more or less R26 before you may retrieve your parcel from the post office so make sure that you are certain that the item you want to purchase is worth the charge plus R26 to you. I'm not sure what the further taxes are on electronics etc though but the handling fee is a definite on my side.
hi there, 1rst off all thankyou for have made this video its gana help me alot. i hope for the amount i already spend on wish its as reliable as say it is. im from primsoe homestead germiston gauteng eastrand SA.. my stuff should arive acording to my calculations at sunnyridgh post office.. i have soms difficulty, acording to wish app my stuff have arived but it didn't and acording to post office the item of tracking doesnt even exist?? your video help as you gave me on a idea on how to do tracking based on the tracking number.. mmmm as far as i understand i have to copy paste it at seartion website and hopefully can provide me info on where it is. but like you said, if items comes through from a seartion carrier/plane/boat, you cant do tracking you simply must wait. pls tel me here at what website must i copy paste my tracking number of items? thankyou for video
Jacobs Gesin Jacobs this is my other channel on TH-cam. Copy the tracking number into AfterShip or 17 Post Tracking. Some courier companies can’t be tracked further than landing at JHB airport and sometimes they forget to scan the parcel so you can’t track it. Check the arrival date on your order history from wish.com and if it’s late request a refund immediately. They will refund shipping costs too. Don’t bother phoning the post office because they can’t help you, just wait for your letter to arrive and if after two months it does not arrive then write it off and be thankful you got refunded. That is the gamble with buying from Wish in South Africa but at least if the item arrives and you got a refund for it been late, then you got it for free.

Zaheera jinnah I never had that problem before with First National Bank. What I would suggest is wait 2-4 working days for the refund to process. Once the refund is reflected into your account maybe try again on a cheaper item and see if the payment goes through. If that does not work ask a family member to use their credit card and EFT the amount to them

Skulstra Da Kid your postal address and the parcel will be sent to the nearest post office. You will receive a letter to go and retrieve it

Yes only two things I ordered did not arrive but I requested a refund and Wish refunded me including shipping costs.
