Orange and lemon peel is what is used to make candied fruit, for baking. OMG that little lobster at the end getting it's snack...a teeny tiny snack...so adorable.
I don't even have to watch the videos to thumbs it up. I will always support this channel. Family friendly, educational, a sing a long & game show 😂😂 all the things I need in my life 😂
Jacob "needs a bigger boat" for an audience as I'd bet he'd sell tickets for folk to accompany them for a day of fishing! 😊 Maybe 3 or 4 rows of seating so peeps can join in with the banter & other shenanigans such as shaving each other bald.😮 😅
Bombas doesn't just donate to homeless, the school I work for got a bunch of socks for the kids to go along with shoes from a program called 'Shoes That Fit.'
Thank you for supporting Bombas! When I was homeless after my parents passed they kept my shoes from going bad, which was in hindsight very essential for finding a job and getting back on my feet. Literally.
I love the long form videos. My granddad and great granddad were commercial fisherman on the Mississippi when such a thing was possible, Grandma fell for him even when he picked her up in the fish delivery truck.
With all the eggers you've been catching without the V notch, does it give you a positive feeling about the future of Maine lobsters and their sustainability? Great videos, entertaining and educational.
We fish around Frenchboro and the amount of eggers and shorts is crazy. Especially the amount of small females that are egged up I’ve never seen it before in my life.
I wish my dad was alive to see you guys. 😁. He was a lobsterman, grandfather was a lobsterman and great grandfather. They lobstered out of casco bay, back in the good old days. What i don’t miss is the way they smelled when they got home!!! Thank you for the helpful lobster life information and for your sense of humor. ❤
Best part of my day is when you post the latest video and this days treat made me just about drench my monitor with coffee while watching it. Educating folks and enriching the world with laughter and antics with the best crew possible. Fare winds and following sea's during your daily voyages.
Great teamwork on the orange challenge! The nasty taste is possibly the wax that gets sprayed on oranges to make them really orange in colour. An unwaxed/organic orange would probably taste better.
Jacob & crew you guys are fun to watch, and I'm thinking I am going to buy 1 small lobster tail to treat myself, cause it's been years that I've had a lobster! I forgot how I used to cook them? I think I wrapped them with lettace to keep them moist while steaming? OMG! I'll have to look it up because I haven't eaten a lobster in 20 years! But you Jacob & your fantastic crew are so much fun to watch! Thank you Guys! Love you all!
Salute to your staff for their participation. I know with your compassion, they volunteered/gave permission first and were absolutely compensated for their participation. ...right? (...RIGHT!?)
* D-R-Y the orange peels , much more palatable = better taste ,flavor ! Slice thin if you like while still fresh. Banana , lemon peels as well . Watermelon ,seeds & all in a blender - juicer as a drink / mixed w/other fruits to make a shake -smoothie . . so many options . Good vid. - GOOD Health to ALL ! 👍💪 🎯
One of the best stuff on the internet, period. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures! Hello from an office far far aways in Paris! Cheers to you guys! Wishing you guys all the best!
All I could think about was Scott’s head getting seriously sunburned. Hope you have sunscreen on board. Orange peels alone aren’t enough to protect that kind of exposure.
The other thing that's happening when you throw back the biggest lobsters is you're selecting for big lobsters in subsequent generations. The average size of individuals within the population should increase over time from that, and making sure to release breeding females will increase the overall number of individuals. Cool stuff!
Jacob, I think Bombas philosophy is awesome!! Thank you Bombas! You mentioned an American made sweatshirt brand in one of your videos awhile back, can you share the name of that company again please? I truly enjoy your videos, and I hope you continue your work for many years to come. Best of luck to you, and your crew captain…
Wow I've got to write that you men really work HARD, it isn't easy that's for sure. You keep the manhood, so many people work a job behind a desk you guys show that there are still hard working men. I appreciate your knowledge of your profession and have a good time while you work, team work is everything........Keep up the good awesome work.....
I love watching you guys… all my family is from Florida and are fishermen… I was the lucky one who was born in Mississippi… you remind me a lot of my uncle Steve… he was always doing fun stuff with his crew.. he had shrimp boats and he also caught crabs.. yes yea he caught crabs many many times in his life..
Do marine biologists go with you on hauls to count numbers? If they don't maybe they could go with different boats throughout the year to count numbers.
It's a good thing. The actual fisherman like this fellow here and his crew are involved in conservation. They have their facility where they do. Studies and such with other organizations Bravo for him. Easy on the pressure. Come up with facts before you stop this man from being even able to make a living.😮😮😮❤
You make some awesome videos man! Coming in from Florida where the lobsters don’t have claws🤣. Too cool how you and your crew appreciate the sea life and what nature provides for us and our families.
Uhhh, Jacob, the Eggers are HUNGRY & you have the BUFFET (a snack). Duh, they get in the trap to get to you in order to get the fish. Bet you didn't think about that. 😮😅
Little lobsters like that have zero chance of making it back to the bottom. Put it back in your trap and it will go out the escapes. That’s what we always do up here in PEI😊

Having received donated Bombas socks, they are AWESOME and hold up really well!
We need a vlog
Asapppppppp
Jacob good luck Buddy from a fellow Mainah 👍
Omg wait are you talking about #bombasocks ? The one's on #SharkTank ?
That teeny tiny lobster was fierce, though. Waving his claws with that, "Bring it!" attitude.
On tip of that huge beast! Lol
It was a fierce little cutie pie 🥰 🥧
Scott is a good sport, him being serious about no beard shaving while you guys were cracking up was soooooo funny.
I stayed in a shelter for a year and honestly getting good socks was really nice. They were indeed bombas
Hey Jacob i am a 15 year old boy from Maine and I am inspired to lobster fish by watching your videos love the videos and keep them up
❤
Family lobster fishing since 1800’s CUNDY’s HARBOR sends ❤

Scott has got to be the best sport ever.
Scott is so cool, he doesn't even have to think about it. He just is. (and now I have a new favorite!)
I love the long form videos. My granddad and great granddad were commercial fisherman on the Mississippi when such a thing was possible, Grandma fell for him even when he picked her up in the fish delivery truck.
Its cool to see a crew get along, work together, and not loose their cool when things go wrong.
Give him sunblock for his head 😂
With all the eggers you've been catching without the V notch, does it give you a positive feeling about the future of Maine lobsters and their sustainability? Great videos, entertaining and educational.
It should! New mommys
Baby lobster fish food!
Most professional lobster fishermen in Alaska lmao love the videos, much respect from Canada

Jacob you all had me cracking up with your antics. Love ❤️ the educational part of the video too. Keep doing what you do.😊😊😊
😁 You guys are educational AND lots of fun ... AND:
Since "Laughter is the Best Medicine," ... THANK YOU for the medicinal giggles!
19:45 omg and the little guy got one and snagged it up too! These never get old. Keep posting!
Scott is such a good sportsman, y’all made me laugh so much 😂😂😂 I would be afraid to pick a pocket 😂😂😂

I live how you give the lobsters that go back in the water a little treat lol
I'm from Alaska. Trapping lobster is something we don't do, at least what I know. But crab we Def do. Pretty fun watching
Marine biology and fishing as a whole is so fascinating
I'm a Randy Travis fan so hearing you guys sing "Diggin up Bones" was cool
Thank you for supporting the lobsters and each person in the industry environment
I love that cut! Looked better than I thought it would!
I love the music from Sid Meier's Pirates while he was eating the orange.
That baby was so freaking cute!! Reminded me of an adult crayfish.

Best Lobstermen Team EVER!
Y'all so silly! 😂😂 Thx 4 being SO much fun!!!!!!!! 👏😹👋🐾🐾✌️🇱🇷
Whelp that cements it. This channel is now in my primary list. Awesome video! Very entertaining!
You forgot to give the spider a notch, it had eggs.
Lol that's what I said too 😂
And a snack!
Worry about your own 8 bud.
@@spamlives77 they were making a joke… 🤦🏼
I would give this a like but it's at 69 and I don't want to ruin it!
I use orange peels in a lot of things…orange chicken, cranberry and orange bread and in holiday cranberry sauce! It’s good for you!!!
Favorite episode yet!

You’re training the eggers to crawl in your traps for a free snack 😂
FOR THE TURTLES!!
It’s great to see you guys having fun and I enjoy hearing your laughter 😂
I enjoyed watching you work and have fun 🌞
All I could think about was Scott’s head getting seriously sunburned. Hope you have sunscreen on board. Orange peels alone aren’t enough to protect that kind of exposure.
Dumb question but can we assist in helping a lobster shed?
Get it a stripper pole…
That's actually a great question!
No, they’re that soft when they shed, any pressure on their new shell for it hardens will tear it ✌️🇬🇧
It's better if humans don't help nature's natural process
So what cooks faster a lobster in hard shell or one that's just shed . . . . Sorry had to ask 😅
The other thing that's happening when you throw back the biggest lobsters is you're selecting for big lobsters in subsequent generations. The average size of individuals within the population should increase over time from that, and making sure to release breeding females will increase the overall number of individuals. Cool stuff!
This is the funniest video I've seen so far. You guys make it look like fun; I know it's hard work though
Trader Joe's sells dried orange with the peel and its better dipped in chocolate. 😁
Fun video, my husband loves the Bombas’ T-shirts!👍👏!
I have learnt so much from you guys. Keep up the great work!
That was a fun video. Great job guys and thank you for being good sports in the challenges!
Such a funny episode, but some education with it. Thx!

Scott’s hair cut reminds me of my mother’s cupie doll collection.
😂😂😂 ewwwwww I'm afraid of those dolls!
The tiny lobster on top of the giant one is so cute!
Scott's second shave looked like Mr T. 😂
It's nice you and crew seem to get along so well. The jokingly way the video was made would help with the boredom. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love You Guys Love Bombas❤!
This was the funniest episode I have seen from you crazy guys
Yep, I always try to not catch crabs when I go out. LOL
Scott's the man.
I love this man’s laugh 😭😭😅😅
Good lookin' bugs, boys
Keep it Scott
Almost 2 million subs is mind blowing
So glad you manage have some fun! It's a hard job.
When he goes home tonight, and his wife sees his new haircut. Oh boy. :)
That shedding process is mre like a spider, or a scorpion. Where they kick off their entire exoskeleton. Snakes and lizards only shed.
Learning alot about lobsters lol
Next time, Scott needs to pick the pocket with KEEPS!! 😂
you should start measuring the biger males to track the larger ones and how big you have seen!
Baby lobster is so cute.
Scotts hair doesn't look bad at all! LOL!!!! no, seriously!!
This is more interesting then a sciene class!
Fun fact, in china we candy the peel in sugar syrup and it's quite a popular snack. I really like it tbh.
That tiny one! Poor Scott hope he didn't get a sunburned head. Now he needs a bucket hat. Does Bombas make hats?
Very enjoyable, love the orange one, I like to eat the white fleshy part. Keep these awesome videos coming. Thank you so much.
You guys are hilarious! 😂 Hope the tighter regulations dont pass. You need to show up with these videos of shorts and eggers!
Thanks for the update and views 🇺🇲🇺🇦
Scott needs a raise.
Funny thing is....That lil patch actually doesn't look that bad.....bet the Ladies will like it! xD
You guys make lobstering fun!

Yea I wanna see Jacob tumbling overboard for once haha
These videos make me hungry, pass me the butter!

Poor Scott. At least he has a good looking head. I agree, don’t touch the beard. Scott has a great beard.
Love you guys . Make me laugh. Keep them coming
