Building Resilience in Fort Meade, Maryland

This October, ADC visited Maryland’s Fort Meade region to learn how a community came together to support their local installation. ADC spent the day with community organizations and base members to hear the story of how the post’s historic Kuhn Hall was handed over to the community, renovated, and gifted back to Fort Meade as a state-of-the-art Education & Resiliency Center. The Fort Meade region is a 2023 Great American Defense Community, a program of the Association of Defense Communities, sponsored by USAA.
