What is the value of the inductor you use? Thx
take any ferrite core and wound it minimum 7 turns, take 2 in parallel, although if you wound it more then more smooth your output will be(depending on output current)

I just build this but i have a problem it doesnt run under load
What i mean is that when the load is connected to the terminals and i plug the smps tu the wall it doesnt start !

If I connect LM7806 TO This 24 volt output smps for 6Volt Output.. will the short circuit protection feature still work or not..
It will work after the 7806IC is blown off, no guarantee for your IC.

HOW MUCH TURNS IN TOROID BAESD INDUCTOR ?
Assembled this circuit, I got no output, the short circuit led's wer ON. Voltage on pin no 1 of IC was 2.5V. what could be the reason? Also the connections of MCR-100 is confusing, in the component layout the Gate is shown connected to ground, and the center leg which is Anode is shown connected to the junction of resistor 0.22 ohms and source of Mosfet. Request you to please clarify the MCR-100 connections. Thanks in advance.

@@LongTechnical that's correct, but as of this particular video; the actual schematic was given as a PDF to print for PCB, no actual circuit diagram to trace all connection to individual component, You can take a look to verify.

Pcb components used in pcb are different from that are given in description. Say in description FR107 is given and used in pcb is rs307 bridge rectifier.
Both of them are used.

well i dont have oscilloscope i noted at that time one of my mosfets ran out. but i have replaced the mosfet but now the Transformer is overheating even without load i have my desired output voltage but transformer is overheating

Why you need reduce the amp ?
Because my stepper motor driver needs 8.4 amps . If I use 11amps powersupply it will blow my stepper driver
@@zamanraza9635 The importan here is voltage not ampere. If your step run at 36V you can supply any power with 36V ouput 1000Amp or 2000amp ....without problem

This circuit in real life will fry 2153 and mosfets like sasauges, and has no regulation on voltage which is the biggest disadvantage of 2153 generally, no implementation for isolated comparator feedback. It runs freely and only thing that can hold output is a load. If you want such circuit that works flawlessly and can last in time try build a TL494 based one. There is a reason half bridges are a bit more complex than above. I have also experiment with ir2153 its fun and easy, you learn and improve your creativity but please dont rely on it for something more.
