One thing I’ve learned to do is take a picture of myself almost every day in a full length mirror. I’ve created an album on my phone and I’ll go back and look at them to see what worked and didn’t and also look at accessories. You have the advantage of seeing your videos but the pictures help me evaluate my choices.
@@dianayavetz6286 I could absolutely see that working! It is amazing the difference I see in a mirror and then when I am editing- it is not uncommon for things that I thought were great did not turn out so hot- and vice versa!
Love the blue and white. The ruffles and sleeves balance you out. Tuck the neck area inside to make it a v-neck. I’m not convinced that you always need a belt if it has elastic at the waist. The orange one shoulder was a great color on you and looked great.
You styled everything beautifully. I love that your daughter is willing to do a mother daughter dress. My daughter is 41 and never wanted to do that. We are close but completely different personalities 😊
My daughter has actually bought me items that she had bought for herself!! I told I’d try not to wear when she wore hers. She said she didn’t care if I did wear it when she did!!! I love her!!!

Love the jumpsuit that you started with at the start of the show. Beautiful! Love the Yacht Club 2 pc. set! Amazonia Smocked Mini with wide belt, perfect and of course blue earrings (my colour). Francine Toile Sky dress with thin belt. Blue and white earrings, perhaps. It reminds me of Dutch colours. Amazonia Smocked Mini (red and blue) I didn't like it with the white belt but loved it with the red belt and red shoes.

Have you considered adding a chunky bracelet or two (rather than a belt) to complement your earrings? Hey Susan- I am so lost with shoes, it really would do me a lot of good to do one (and learn in the process 🤦♀️). I wear a size 12 and shoes have always been so difficult for me to find, so I have never really focused on them - but sizes are expanding and everything is so much more accessible, so I don’t have many excuses!! I have never really worn bracelets- I am always in my Apple Watch, I will try some! Do you have any brands that you like for bracelets?
Shoes can be difficult to find in our size, style, height etc… H&M, Amazon and even Temu can be fun for fad styles and I’ve found a few each summer… the shoe outlet stores are okay for larger sizes… I’m a 10 and I’ve lucked out at times… even Macy’s during their sales can be good online resources. I Google searched ‘fun summer sandals’ and a lot of options showed up …. like most of your hauls, send back the ones you don’t love … styled with the beautiful summer dresses and pant outfits you just hauled!!! I appreciate your sincere reviews, your encouragement, and especially your sense of light hearted humour 💕🎶🙏🎉 Jewelry is personal of course but again Amazon has some nice options under $20…. I like stopping in at H&M and the teen stores for fad jewelry… I don’t invest a lot in fad jewelry but it can really dress up the outfit! Bracelets go on the opposite wrist of your watch 😉 Also Meredith you look amazing with your hair up!!!
Another great video! I had never heard of Sugarlips and will now check them out. The tan church dress looked fab with the pearls and updo. Quite timeless. I especially liked the jumpsuit, the blue and white ones, and the pink dress. I typically wear flats too, and recently got a pair of red ones. They add a great pop of color to navy and black outfits. I got lots of compliments from friends, so you might want to check some out for a more comfortable option than heels.

Every outfit looked fabulous on you..(my fav was the black background floral jumpsuit), I’d suggest try to open your mind from the 2006 Tori Birch type of ballet flat…maybe try a flat with a more (adult) pointed toe to it or even a kitten heel, also sometimes a belt can look forced instead of elongating the physique, but it cuts off the length. As far as the shoes go, have you reached out to Torrid, Lane Bryant, etc to do an updated shoe haul? (That could be fun). Sneakers with jeans or even a lot of the frilly/girly dresses you wear could look good with a simple boat shoe, simple sneaker, simple across the foot sandal, or again a more adult looking flat. The clothes that you try on for us and even own can be more elevated with a proper shoe. You’ll see. Thanks for having an open mind and I can’t wait to see what’s in store next. ❤❤❤
By far the most fun and the most flattering was the black-and-white striped pants with the black-and-white striped crop top. I have to say I put on a plain summer dress the other day. It made me feel attractive, fun and I could feel my confidence coming out

LaJuana, I learn more about you every week! You haven’t watched tv in 4 years!!! Oh my goodness! I had to lose weight leading up to my hernia surgery and have kept going strong, so I’m nearing the comfort in a 2X state, but not there just yet. I loved the orange, but it felt tight in my bust- honestly, I think a 3X would have been a little too large. I think the orange and blue toile are my favorites (after editing, seeing them on myself, and thinking about it!)

You have some beautiful jewelry. Add a few shorter necklaces to your collection and play. I have soooo much jewelry and you are right it does change the look. Love your channel.
My favorites are the jumpsuit (without a belt) and the striped pants outfit. No apple body there! Then I like the blue and white dress. I think the vibrant prints need a bolder gold necklace. That is missing from your jewelry wardrobe. Perhaps a long bold snake chain or a long multi chain necklace. You blue pendant is pretty, but gets lost on a print fabric. Shop for a couple of longer necklaces with substance. Even a multi colored bead necklace with metallic accents. These types of necklaces are nice against sweaters in cooler weather too. White or black beads will also work. Reach for those necklaces when the prints are bold or busy. Also when you want to direct the eye vertically against an expanse of solit color. I know your preference is mostly delicate jewelry, but longer dramatic necklaces really enhance an outfit. Buy one and the try on with some of your older sweaters and see what I mean.

I think a lot of it is that I don’t like following ‘fashion rules’ only 2 accessories, what have you, but also I have always struggled finding cute comfortable shoes in a size 12. Okay, I’ve watched this 3 times now, and I’m ready to comment. First, when I saw that you had a new video, I waited for the blue and white dress. Because, my heart told me that there would be a blue and white dress… 🤭 And I really like this one! It’s really pretty, and it fits you nicely. Second, the orange floral print screams “1970’s” to me, and I love it! I love the print, and love the way it fits you. I shy away from floor length dresses, because I feel like they make me look even shorter. But I’m an orange girl, and this one makes me happy. The jumpsuit is adorable. I like it best plain or with the red belt. I’m feel like the white makes it look chopped up. And the red shoes with that belt are just smokin’! Go Meredith!the bright prints are fun and look summery. The hot pink long sleeve dress is another great pick! Now the jewelry… I know you gravitate to long necklaces, and I think that they look good on you. You are tall enough to wear them well. But with a few of those necklines, I think a shorter necklace would work better. Some of the pieces today kind of got lost with those prints/necklines. The blue and white two piece pants outfit and the orange and white one sleeve dress are the most flattering. Its really surprising how different the outfits look between out of the package and on your body. My initial thoughts to the 2 that were most flattering on you, were that's going to look awful but they were the best two. The toile was reminiscent of upholstery material.

It's funny, I've never heard of Sugarlips before and today I've watched two vloggers show their hauls today from this company! (The other was Glitterandlazers, btw.) I really liked the blue and white dress...both of you tried it on! I personally wouldn't wear the jumpsuit with a belt as it would be one extra thing I'd need to take off to use the washroom! It might be hard to deal with then too. And since I live in Asia, jumpsuits can be extra scary if you are using a squat toilet....I did it once....never again!! LOL Great haul!

Ohhh, on the Francine Toile Sky, I really thought you would be swimming in those sleeves. Pleasantly surprised that the v-neck helped balance it out so well, looks like you could fold it back further if desired, actually, which is good. I'd probably pin it slightly more open just to feel less... contained? claustrophobic? However you say the same feeling that would prevent me from tying the ties on the hot pink dress 😂
This is a totally new company to me. Some of the things looked “not me” but some of the others really drew my attention. You look great in everything although have my own preferences. I don’t think the short dresses are as flattering as some of the others, and I love you in a jumpsuit. I ordered two dresses and I can’t wait to see how they look.
Oh, I hope that you love them!! I am not as comfortable in the short ones. I have worn the short blue and red and the midi blue and white to work this week. I felt so awesome in the blue and white toile- just fancy! In the day I wore the short one, I went to eat lunch with my niece(4y/o) and nephew (3y/o). As we were walking away, it took everything for me to get him to stop playing with my hem - I was so worried that half of the restaurant was going to see my undies before we left! (I think we were ok!)

I had to lose weight leading up to my hernia surgery and have kept going strong, so I’m nearing the comfort in a 2X state, but not there just yet. I loved the orange, but it felt tight in my bust- honestly, I think a 3X would have been a little too large. I think the orange and blue toile are my favorites (after editing, seeing them on myself, and thinking about it!)

My favorites are the jumpsuit (without a belt) and the striped pants outfit. No apple body there! Then I like the blue and white dress. I think the vibrant prints need a bolder gold necklace. That is missing from your jewelry wardrobe. Perhaps a long bold snake chain or a long multi chain necklace. You blue pendant is pretty, but gets lost on a print fabric. Shop for a couple of longer necklaces with substance. Even a multi colored bead necklace with metallic accents. These types of necklaces are nice against sweaters in cooler weather too. White or black beads will also work. Reach for those necklaces when the prints are bold or busy. Also when you want to direct the eye vertically against an expanse of solit color. I know your preference is mostly delicate jewelry, but longer dramatic necklaces really enhance an outfit.
Buy one and the try on with some of your older sweaters and see what I mean.

Thank you! I feel like I can do a good job of choosing clothes for my body, but aside from jewelry, I do not feel confident in my accessorizing. I think a lot of it is that I don’t like following ‘fashion rules’ only 2 accessories, what have you, but also I have always struggled finding cute comfortable shoes in a size 12.

Okay, I’ve watched this 3 times now, and I’m ready to comment. First, when I saw that you had a new video, I waited for the blue and white dress. Because, my heart told me that there would be a blue and white dress… 🤭 And I really like this one! It’s really pretty, and it fits you nicely. Second, the orange floral print screams “1970’s” to me, and I love it! I love the print, and love the way it fits you. I shy away from floor length dresses, because I feel like they make me look even shorter. But I’m an orange girl, and this one makes me happy. The jumpsuit is adorable. I like it best plain or with the red belt. I’m feel like the white makes it look chopped up. And the red shoes with that belt are just smokin’! Go Meredith!the bright prints are fun and look summery. The hot pink long sleeve dress is another great pick! Now the jewelry… I know you gravitate to long necklaces, and I think that they look good on you. You are tall enough to wear them well. But with a few of those necklines, I think a shorter necklace would work better. Some of the pieces today kind of got lost with those prints/necklines. Btw Torrid has a nice selection of belts ¡ I so appreciate cuz I have to size up, due to hips, stomach, backside. Then I have a gap. A wide stretch woven l9ks like grass. Belt would rock the dress/ romper!!

The blue and white two piece pants outfit and the orange and white one sleeve dress are the most flattering. Its really surprising how different the outfits look between out of the package and on your body. My initial thoughts to the 2 that were most flattering on you, were that's going to look awful but they were the best two. The toile was reminiscent of upholstery material.

It's funny, I've never heard of Sugarlips before and today I've watched two vloggers show their hauls today from this company! (The other was Glitterandlazers, btw.) I really liked the blue and white dress...both of you tried it on!
I personally wouldn't wear the jumpsuit with a belt as it would be one extra thing I'd need to take off to use the washroom! It might be hard to deal with then too. And since I live in Asia, jumpsuits can be extra scary if you are using a squat toilet....I did it once....never again!! LOL

Ohhh, on the Francine Toile Sky, I really thought you would be swimming in those sleeves. Pleasantly surprised that the v-neck helped balance it out so well, looks like you could fold it back further if desired, actually, which is good. I'd probably pin it slightly more open just to feel less... contained? claustrophobic? However you say the same feeling that would prevent me from tying the ties on the hot pink dress 😂

This is a totally new company to me. Some of the things looked “not me” but some of the others really drew my attention. You look great in everything although have my own preferences. I don’t think the short dresses are as flattering as some of the others, and I love you in a jumpsuit. I ordered two dresses and I can’t wait to see how they look.
Oh, I hope that you love them!! I am not as comfortable in the short ones. I have worn the short blue and red and the midi blue and white to work this week. I felt so awesome in the blue and white toile- just fancy! In the day I wore the short one, I went to eat lunch with my niece(4y/o) and nephew (3y/o). As we were walking away, it took everything for me to get him to stop playing with my hem - I was so worried that half of the restaurant was going to see my undies before we left! (I think we were ok!)
