😍
Very nice
Thank you 🥰
Wow good
Thanks 🥰
If i need two different object irradiated by laser bean, should I place Obj Info on both and use mix shader to combine the origin material and the irradiated part?
Great tutorial. Definitely loved it. Just a little advice. Please be considerate where you put the subtitle. It's kind of hard to read in the upper left corner, especially when paused. Great video once again :)
Thanks for your notes. I will consider where to put the subtitles to make it more convenient for viewers
is it working for everyone w cycles?
nice tutorial, for an alternate instead of geo node you can actually replace it with an actual spotlight so its re useable
can i make it in blender 4.0 cuz is not showing the same thing?
@ 5:18 I made it to this part , why does the texture just jump to a new one without switching slots or seeing the material for lasers ?
this is great, but it fail since "attribute" step, its not working in 3.6, may I know if you have a new solution?
how to add laser trail on this?
Evee or cy?
Could you please upload blend file, i've been trying to crack this but it's not happening..
Effect worked great, blender 3.6.5, but like others, rendering with alpha doesn't seem to be an option (something with emission and rendering). Does your render have alpha or a black background added?
Are you using evee?
I didn't understand the #frame thingy.
Copied the geometry nodes settings perfectly, but the effect is not at where the beam intersects with the ground. What happened?
I'm not sure but it could be because your Geometry Nodes are on Displacement in the Modifier tab of Ground.
I tried the tutorial, may I make something wrong step from 5.24 that the ray did not trace the plane01 move :P, even that , I still learn a lot skill on it and very enjoy the detail tutorial, thank you so much for great sharing!!
I'm glad it helps you. Thank you for your kind words
About your problem: I'm pretty sure in the Object Info node you haven't switched to Relative at 4:53
thanks, that was exactly my mistake
Great tutorial 👍@@OctopusEffects
surface edit not working properly. it doesnt glow on the ground where the laser hits. help
be attention, do not collapse the top two point into single one , otherwise, you cant subdivided the faces...
Shift+left mouse click, each of the four corners then you can subdivide, instead of selecting the "face".
The "Geometry Proximity" nodee shown in 5:04 does not exist in my Blender (2.93) =/
u should open the page on the menu
I also donˋt see Geomerty Proximate, what do you mean open on the menu?
i cant render the laser in alpha eevee
You may have to change the blend mode.
@@forrest4trees It's something to do with "emission", lots of people asking the same thing with other effects that use emission.
Are you making a laser or a farm
this is terrible....
Why?? :(
I was expecting spoken instructions as those would be helpful in the future
