Is not needed to remove the barrel from the main pivoting point.
Is enough that you remove the seeger ring and then the pin of the barrel charging lever under the barrel.
I was not expecting that broken spring, I thought you were just going to grease it!

Was it still shooting fine with the broken spring or you could clearly feel something was wrong?

i have a very similar model to this. when ever i try and cock the gun by bending it back, it snaps back with prettty serious force. how can i fix this?
There are several factors that can lead to this problem occurring. Even a simple and common problem like a broken spring can lead to this. I can't help you without seeing the weapon, it's best to take it to specialized technical assistance.
Thanks I might disassemble it and see if I can solve this issue. I believe it’s trigger related because it will sometime cock properly when I push the trigger forwards

Hey if anyone could helped please I'm freaking out as a hunter. My diana magnum 350 I took apart to clean jus inside of the stock and the cooking lever came out of position .. now pit back together it will not cock. Can anyone please help me asap .. thank u.

Why is it that when I disassemble my barrel there's only the long spring and missing the short spring like yours.
Older type got one that's really old and the small one misses aswell

Depuis peu j'ai acquis par hasard le même modèle de décembre 1987 (made in west Germany) également dans un état proche du neuf, je suis tout fou avec. C'est un bon modèle à priori? Enfin j'espère... peut-être pas le ressort du coup🤔. Merci pour la vidéo.

this can indeed happen, it is the piston seal that is old, rotten and is disintegrating.

Hey i have a rifle similar to this one, i bought it from second hand owner, problem is the front sight seems to be loosen and always fell of after I shot my rifle even after i tighten the screw, now that I tighten it too much the thread is broke. Any suggestion?
