I'm really happy that theory worked, another gentleman had mentioned it when trying to rebuild his 5200 and I thought it was a good thought to store away if I ever needed to get some new mounts for my poulans and I didn't have access to NOS mounts, looking forward to seeing it cut now!

Bangor used to be the logging/lumber capital of the universe at one time in the 1800s. That snow and nealy looks quite old. They made those handles like that right up till the end of the original manufacturing in Bangor.

hey thanks for an other video great video! i was wondering if you worked around brushcutter, i have a 450 that ive looked everything into it and it was really gutless, now it won’t even start and keep idle, ive removed the muffle and it started first pull. i don’t know if you ever opened a stihl exhaust that has a metal ledge on the side. if i could have you’re input that would be great! ps the spark arestor already been removed
i have the same saw, built in louisiana, i cant run it tho cuz the plastic recoil drum to the pull start broke and i cant find a new one, sure wont throw it away, if u have trouble with that one u have Buckin LMK ill send u another

@@jeffreyrubish347 I know he makes em all to order. Just didnt know if handle length and users height were discussed in making a personal/perfect fit. I mean ski poles,golf clubs and so many other items are fitted to height. Usually tall means longer arms also so maybe it isnt that big of a deal? Or maybe we have just become accustom to using a standard length handles and have been compensating for them so long that it seems right? Have a great day and watch out bumping the noggin, because not everything in this world is designed for your height!
@@waynetharp It is for me! I bought an old pitted Peuget Sound a while back and I'm going to put a 42" on it. 4# head, it's going to be deadly! Any head 3# and up I like at least 36". I have two old 2# Plumbs from my gramps. They are 26" and 28"
@@jeffreyrubish347 Looks like a longer handle would balance better with a heavier head to me. At 6'5" a 26" handle is basically a standard hatchet! lol
