Is a Nacon controller required or can I use any other controller?
Couple questions ;
1. Will it work with a scuf fps controller
2. Can I do this with original Cronus zen I don’t need the ps5 toggle?
So if I get the dongle do I need to still repair the controller to the dongle or is the dongle now part of the native PS5 system and it’s just plug and play?

Any ideas of the script not doing anything in-game? Like the script is set but in-game it doesn’t affect anything. I’ve tried multiple scripts For the game Rainbow Six Siege.

@@EddieLove yeh the way I check to see if mine is working it by tapping.
L1 + options and then when you tap the ps button your controller will vibrate if it’s all working.

Now all you have to do is plug in ps5 remote to the side an it works just fine. Just have to turn Bluetooth off an hardwire
Do both usbs need to be plugged into the computer and the device? Can’t that possibly cause a short? On their website it says only use older style

I have a question. I just got my zen today, and trying to set it up. I don't understand what the donor controller is for at all. So can I just buy another PS5 controller for the donor controller so I can have two PS5 controllers instead of buying a PS4 controller that I won't be able to use? I was doing good until I got to this part of the video. I don't understand what the donor controller is for I guess. Also, does Zen have a customer service number I can call? I have a feeling I'm going to need to be walked through this process literally. I am so terrible with computers. I really just don't understand any of this. Thank you.
did you solve the problem? You have to connect somethign to A1 (left side of the ZEN) else it will loose connection to the playstation controller. However, I also face problems with the device. Its really a terrible product.

Turning the PS5 on with controller pairs it to the PS5. Once plugged into the zen shouldn't u delete the controller to unpair it to the PS5. That's what Max from Cronus says in his video

I mean it sounds cool but my set up is small. I don’t rly have space for the additional laptop and all the wires . Do u have to play like that or can it be disconnected after setting up ? What’s the deal
After you set up your scripts on the lap top you won’t need it all you need is the zen

You have to have the donor controller or you can use just a ps5 pad with the zen dongle

Google ps5 dongle for cronus zen or check ebay/amazon, personally I'd get the donor controller as its alot cheaper than the dongle and works just as good and if your ps5 pad ever brakes least you have a spare pad to use till you get a replacement

It can be any controller I’m pretty sure I’m using a little PlayStation game pad controller (not the same as in the video) and it still works perfectly
My controller isn't connected correctly. I plug it into the Zen and hit "Device Monitor" on the "Device" tab in the Zen menu and none of the inputs work. I am on PS5 and I have ps4/5 selected and PS SHARE selected and it still doesn't work. Suggestions?

No,sadly. However if you have 15$ the 3rd party controller gets shipped from amazon in a day or two (mine took two days)

You do unfortunately for ps5 if you don’t have the dongle however it really does take about 10 seconds when you get used to it

Press ps button.. Click speaker. toggle volume down then back up… sucks that you gotta do it every time you connect but it works

Yes because the ZEN is a shitty device. You are not alone. Everyone complains about this and the ZEN devs act like it was a user mistake lol

Does this currently work on PS5 Battlefront 2042? Personally don't need it for Vanguard but 2042 aiming seems broken to me.
You would have to find a game pack for battlefield

You have to build classes for it however it’s super easy and intuitive when you start playing around

It's this one only. You can use Zen with a specific firmware (latest one includes it).
Kinda got the wireless part wrong, you dont need a dongle for wireless anymore, you can hold down the left button on the zen untill it flashes and it goes into bluetooth mode and than press on the ps5 controller the ps button and options until you see a blue light flash really fast and it should pair automatically with the zen and thats how you use it wireless, been using it like this since I brought the zen two months ago and just used it last night so it still 100% works
I’ll give that a test as far as I was aware it doesn’t work properly as in headsets will not work properly with it that way but I’ll check it out!

Currently having an issue where my friends in the PlayStation party can’t hear me because my mic is freaking out screeching and making loud noises it doesn’t do it when I don’t have the zen connected, I’m using a wired headset into my ps5 controller I’ve been looking for answers forever thinking maybe getting the dongle will help but not sure exactly what it will do to help, any suggestions..?
Switch your mic input to your headset over the blank one on the ps5 quick menu

You mean when you are playing the game, the controller randomly stops working and you have to unplug the zen? Because I am having that same problem unfortunately.

Man I want to leave the setup here very clean, so I wanted to clear up a doubt, can I use a USB 3.0 to Micro USB cable to be able to use the console's rear ports instead of the front ones and make the wires less apparent?

If you want to use Cronus zen with strikepack on a PS4 controller how do you set this up? Would you just plug in where the ps5 controller would go?
No so you get the ps5 dangle plug it in the left side USB port at the front of the device then just plug the controller ( with strikepack ) into the left USB port ( the single USB port on the side of the zen not the front one ) hope this helps
Zen and a strike pack ? If you get round to it lemme know if it’s OP as shit. I use the zen on ps5 and it’s okay, it’s not aimbot but it works. I didn’t know they did a strike pack for the ps5
@@DeadShotSherman they don’t it’s for PS4 controller but you can connect with PS4 controller for certain games such as warzone but you cannot use both mods at the same time if that’s what you’re wondering the strikepack is solely for the paddles and zen for the mods
Hi!, so to turn on the ps5 with the controller it has to be connected? Do you have to delete the ps5 controller so it doesn’t default to a blue tooth one, or simply selecting the ps4 nacon controller is good enough to over ride
You don’t have to delete the controller, you turn on the ps5 wirelessly with the ps5 controller, then once everything’s booted up plug in just the Cronus zen, then when prompted the nacon controller; Next prompt press X on the nacon, then simply plug in the ps5 controller into the Cronus as shown and after 2-3 seconds it will just start working

Thanks for the info I have tried this and it dies work it even worked with a PS4 controller didn't need the Nikon but when I play COD for a bit it stops working and I loose control of the game and I end up having to disconnect the Zen so that I can keep playing the game. The problem is that the PS5 detects the Dualsense as a PS4 controller and doesn't let you play PS5 games with it😕

Since Sony has patched the ps4 speciality mode on their games and all new games line vanguard many games and future games will no longer work on the zen. I have the zen with the Ps5 dongle and even fortnite stopped working now after patch. Good news everything still works perfect on the series X so I use the zen on Xbox now cause it doesn't work on Ps5 unless u download the ps4 version of the game. What's the point when we cannot play next gen games with the zen 🤔

I did it step-by-step like you said in about five minutes after playing a lose all control no button reaction at all I can still control zen with the controller but I cannot control my person

That video is old has the games in the PS4 Version and not the one that is now the games are in PS5 version and that is why the Cronus does not work on PS5

After following this step by step, when I plug the nacon controller in, it says bootloader e2021. I reset the zen, tried again to come to the same issue.

Huh, does anyone know about the plugging of wired headphones? I plug em in either controllers, and the one on the left port of the Cronus ends up having sound coming out of the controller itself, and on the one you're using, nothing happens.
