I have to admit, this was definitely the best Mario Power Tennis match I have ever watched! There was not a single dull moment at all. You are certainly a Mario Power Tennis ace! Can't wait to see the multiplayer matches when the time comes!
I think if you go past the center count line towards the net, that might be when the AI activates its Power Shot. This might only apply to Singles though.
Good job on defeating Waluigi! Though I like these videos and this game, as it seems like Mario Power Tennis is that rare sports title where the AI actually becomes better at the game as you increase the difficulty, rather than just getting the ability to rubberband after you to keep the score close. Granted, it seems like the game was giving Luigi's evil twin a few more advantages than he even had at star difficulty, but it's not nearly as bad as other sports games.

I love playing the Aces Computers in this games. There’s so much intensity going on.
What actually makes this A LOT more difficult is taking off the power shots I promise every character will give you trouble

Instead of trying to hit it over his head, you should go the other way and use drop shots. They will screw up a lot of those
Try beating star paratroopa on ace. So freaking difficult, you really need to use drop shots
