  • In September of 2023 I set out to complete the Idaho Backcountry Discover Route with two of my brothers. We started at the Canadian Border and headed south. Bad weather and flat tires delayed our progress. Though we didn't quite make it to Nevada, we had an epic 10 days of riding and camping in the backcountry of Idaho.
This is my first youtube video, and I learned a lot putting this edit together. I am excited for future rides and videos. Like or subscribe if you enjoyed the content.
    Riders:

Great ride and video. Amazing for 1st TH-cam video. It is a chore to video an activity. Thank you for sharing and look forward to many more journeys by you and your brothers. Ride safe!

If you guys had to ride and choose from one of 3 bikes you guys rode on that BDR, which bike would be the unanimous bike of choice and why?

I think the 300L Rally is a nice balance of power and weight, but a more experienced rider would want the Husqvarna 701. Really, most dual sports are very capable of completing the ride. There isn’t anything too technical in the Idaho BDR.
