Genuinely one of my favourite airports to fly in and out of. It's uncomplicated, it's safe, it's well equipped and (generally speaking) it's very efficient.
Hi mate great videos, off to Playa blanca on Wednesday with the family. Staying at the Alyssa Suits for 10 nights. Any recommendations for things to do. Cheers chris
Dave just returned from playa blanca, Hated it .The hotel was awfull so stressful. But loved open mall, port de carmen ,n the beaches in playa blanca where lovely .Back to tenerife
Was there a couple of weeks ago and passport control was slow! Quite a big queue with people stuck in it whilst final calls were going out for their flights
Tenerife south airport is a very good airport. It is also arranged as a fallback port if North is temporarily inaccessible. This happened several times in 2023 due to the large forest fire or when there was a lot of fog in the north. The airport with 1 runway is relatively large and from here you can go in all directions. With a car from one of the many car rental companies or at the front with one of the many buses (also tour operators). If you rent a car, it is best to do this well in advance as prices rise in the run-up to summer. Each car rental company has its own spot with rows of cars. We use Autoreisen a lot and you pick up the keys while you wait for your suitcases or afterwards from the main hall. And returning the car is done through a small office that they have at the parking location of their cars. We have been flying to Tenerife South for many years, as our apartment is about 15 minutes away. And I don't know about Tenerife North, but the landing at South can be bumpy due to the warm wind and thermals. There is a temperature difference of a few degrees between north and south. You will notice this if you take a ride to the volcano and go back down on the other side. North is greener than the south, which looks more like a desert landscape.
I can’t believe how big their airport is 😮 East Midlands airport is tiny compared with this one 😂 I can’t wait for Monday now me and my partner are going there
We certainly can find all what we need to know but you forgot to say something... Taking picture and recording videos in the spanish airports security checks IS NOT ALOWED.
