Legend says saying "Seeker" 3 times in a row while in machinima mode will cause him to appear and take your soul.
AndroNucleus don't forget that you need to have your Keurig on and nearby or else it doesn't work.

Incorrect. Obviously the best armor in Halo 5 is Seeker. It gives all the enemy players eye cancer.

Before Helioskrill was available to everyone I always had a mini heart attack when I encountered an enemy with it equipped cause you know that player has went through hours and hours of deaths and loading screens and doing the same zone in a mission 20 times before finally getting through it. I have respect to anyone that got it the hard way

You have no idea how many times I've been cross-maped by Elites in Halo 1, sniped by Jackals in Halo 2 & 3, and mowed down by Prometheans in Halo 4.

Halo 2, you just needed to pop on the Scarab skull and unlimited ammo skull and it would count as you beating the campaign on legendary

romand271 I never see the difference, I do pretty well on either color.
I don't have the helmet because my company doesn't play WZ but I've gathered my own data and found I am 500% more likely to teabag someone with achilles when I'm mad.
I remember entering matches in Halo 3 wearing Security Armour and the Katana feeling like a badass cause I earnt it. Kinda miss that aspect of Armour customisation, doing challenges and achievements and earning the respect of your fellow gamers for the tasks you completed.

Ther are many different factors. You didnt even seem to try to isolate the variable. For example, one time you used the prophets bane. Youre not scary looking, youre invisible!

All except you can get Recon through some challenges about equal to getting Achilles with the amount of community interaction and dedication. Halo 5 still sucks tho.

For me, a "Tryhard" isn't simply a person who wants to play well/be "good."
It's someone who, yes, desires such a thing, but is willing to go to unnatural and/or unfun ways of attaining such a status, to the point where, in comparison to standard or "casual" players, they appear to exert too much effort for said status (or an item like Achilles gear; a perceived denotation of status in itself), and thus take the game too seriously, dedicating themselves to it so much so that it no longer becomes a game, after which point they will destroy newcomers or longtime casuals alike, causing resentment from said victims and earning their notorious title for the overarching reason that, in their quest to have attained such a skill level and/or item of rank, they have "tried too hard."
My perception is very similar:
Tryhard- A player who either doesn't notice or doesn't care that thier devotion to being the best is negatively impacting the experience of other players, whether it be through cheap tactics, exerting too much effort, Smurfing or queing for casual/social playlists
So basically, it's psychological warfare. My dad studied psychology in college. YES!

Graver Since this is psychological warfare, my dad knows what triggers a person's brain. If he gives me advice, I can make up my own strategies to have an advantage in halo.

I have full Achilles. I notice that it DOES make a difference in warzone, but also I found ranked objective and ranked slayer. I play at the diamond-onyx tier, sometimes playing champs, but it still made a difference. I found I wasn't overstrafing as much, and that I felt more powerful because I was winning roughly 85% of my gunfights, comparatively, in any other playlist, I find that I only win about 70%
I always thought players with achilles armor were better than me until I got it.When I first put it on, I noticed a significant advantage in my gameplay.Then I came up with a theory that achilles doesn't buff the players in any way, but instead it has something to do with psychology (as you said) which means that a lot of players upon seeing people who wear achilles, think that they are more skilled than them which is not the case.That's why whenever I come up against a player who wears that armor, I always try to keep that thought away and I win those gunfights almost every time.

Hmmm... You make interesting points about the perception of this armour an after recently obtaining it I have noticed a slight difference in my gunfights where the enemy seem almost apprehensive to fire upon me. This only happened once or twice a game though and so I'm gonna rock the armour set for the foreseeable future.
I noticed the exact same effect from the katana(had to get all achievements to unlock) and to some extent the recon helmet in Halo 3. Unnerving your opponent when a single nervous twitch ruins your aim genuinely affects how matches go.

I noticed something similar with the inheritor helmet in reach as to how you mention players think differently when they see higher level gear their mindset changes entirely
You should try doing a lore version of which kinds of armor are the most experimental or has been savored for the most elite of Spartans.
Another example, in TF2, more hats=more pro. The Gibus/Pyrovision wearing players vs. Unusual wearing players.

My definition that I think most people could agree on deriving from Warzone frustration is: Someone who tries their very best to win utilizing whatever they can to guarantee victory in a casual situation.
Do a vid on the best armor as far as protection (how much armor it has and the lore of it)
like the recon helmet in H3 you knew the dude who had it was dedicated, i have no problem playing against people wearing hard to get armor and i don't really care what armor the opposing team is wearing

As someone has stated earlier, this is psychological warfare in a sense. In truth, you just *seem* more intimidating than others, due to the different style of armor. However, it does not signify that your armor has a higher capacity to take damage. It just tends to cripple the morale of opponents.
rn i have Nightfall Armor and Recruit Helmet, but the Achilles would look nice with it
I feel like wearing Achilles paints a big target on me. I can't help but feel players focus more of their efforts against me, and I get teabagged more often.

I have to admit Achilles armor and helmet is a pretty intimidating thing to see on the battlefield. it's almost like Achilles is actually there.

I am happy with the armor I have now, and I do have, Helioskrill armor+helmet, the night fall armor+helmet, my all time favorite scout helmet, and I do have he Achilles armor set but not the helmet.

I have the helmet and armour but I don't actually use it because I don't like the look personally. when I face people wearing it actually think to myself "this guy thinks he's good... time to ruin his day" And I generally don't perform better or worse against players wearing it. I win gunfights I normally win and lose the ones I normally lose. That being said I rank onyx in most playlists so I'm a higher end player so I still fit in with your findings.
Lol true. Back on Halo Reach whenever me or my friends would see someone with the little lightning effect, or the skull helmet you would earn in inheritor. We would immediately recognize him as a good player.

In halo 3 the hitboxes change with helmets. So i guess that makes the rogue helmet the most optimal because its the smallest. The hayabusa tip can be sniped...
The vidmaster challenges to get those helmets definitely makes you a try hard..

Before I knew about the Achilles armor, I rushed at somebody who was wearing it. I died. Every time I attacked him.
If the hitbox stays the same wouldn't a big helmet be better because they could try to graze your head but miss cuz its bigger than the hitbox? Idk

When I was a bad player as soon as I saw Achilles I thought to myself that I was going to lose which was typically the case, now however that I have it I don't see that as the case. I think I actually do slightly worse when I play with it and I get bagged every time I die usually. I believe I play much better with armors like Venator, HellJumper, and Helioskrill.
to be fair, you used 3 mythic weapons and a temple banshee, plus your pretty good so a double kda isn't surprising, but I see you point and do agree

This theory actually makes complete sense. It's always about how your brain interprets things. Also, I'm sad because I don't have Achilles because of bs. My Xbox account isn't old enough (my age) to let me join a spartan company. I hope for halo 6 (if they still have spartan companies) that they let players of every age (at least probably 10 or something) to join spartan companies.
get into onyx rank and play using recruit armor. That will give them a rude shock
