Great take on how you two handle your interracial marriage💖💖. I'm also in an interracial marriage (BW/WM) and we've embraced our differences in full honesty rather than trying to pretend we live in a Utopian society. Since our relationship beginning, we have educated each other on the topics and decided we would choose our lives together over the ignorance/bigotries. Our marriage has been strong from the beginning as a result of our choices. He said I opened his eyes to the subtle racisms and weirdness projected on me for being a black woman(person). As a result, he has witnessed the assumptions, stereotyping people do towards me for being a black woman within a social setting, shopping experiences, etc. rather than them seeing me as an individual to get to know personally/respect for shopping at their stores. They usually have already made up their minds via their faulty processing 😂. He has admitted these are things he has never even noticed prior to us becoming a couple. I told him welcome to my world! All we can do about people's ignorance/stupidity is continuing to value our self-worth and our human race beliefs which are more important & Powerful than their racial antiquated views. Wishing you two all the best. Let's all keep on living our interracial marriages in a positive light which always kills off darkness.😇💖. Btw, we our positive experiences as an interracial couple easily outweighs the negativity! ✨✨
Very encouraging to read! Thank you for sharing and I agree, we must embrace our differences instead of pretending there are none. Positivity will always triumph 🫶🏾
I agree with Maigan about having tough conversations. Too many people are silent on the sidelines with these topics. We gotta get in front of them and embrace reality 🙏
Hi lovely couple! I'm also in an interracial marriage (AWBM). I'm from the Philippines and my husband is from Ghana. I'd say that somehow we are lucky because we live in Denmark and people here are much more receptive and open about interracial marriages. We do face challenges but there are more like internal and not external. It's our cultural and personality differences that makes our marriage challenging BUT also interesting and colorful. :) I also like the fact that we both learn from each other. It's such a beautiful union.
I miss watching easy going content like this. It’s nice to see y’all out in the south. I moved from there to the desert, so it’s making me feel at home. Y’all are cute with your accents!
Beautiful family ❤❤❤ I can't wait for the day when people wouldn't judge others based on skin color. People should love who they want! We're all humans🌼
