thanks for all the video, we used this great insight to plan our passage from Carrick to Lough Key (day 1), from Lough Key to Roosky (day 2), Roosky to Grange (day 3) and then back to Carrick (day 4). Our cruise was Monday to Friday of last week and the weather was the best this year (2023). we were a bit apprehensive about going thru that small gap to get to Grange, but it was the best part of the cruise - a very special place
i was just planning this myself if the sew is a no go on saturday. Ive always skipped Kilglass and Grange, always leaving it for another time. love the new angels, especially the props spinning. . you're producing very good content. that second song suited the visuals, its almost like "Driftwoods" new theme tune. . Driftwood is clearly a Cranberries fan!!😂⛵😍
Hi folks Another great blog , keep them coming , drone footage is amazing as well...... See you got yourself a little fishing kayak , great little yokes ....🙂 Cheers Gerard
Hi guys, just came across your video on TH-cam. Great stuff. I noticed your kayak at the back of the cruiser. Is it a Big Sky kayak? If so how do you find it? Thanks
Hi David, yes we're hoping to get a canopy made as soon as the lockdown is over. That's also the day we hope to get out and about on the boat again too 👍
Great footage as always, Have you a drone recommendation, one that's controllable from a bout over water?? I'm looking to invest but nervous as a first time drone owner??
Ta for that. I was using a DJI spark but the battery life was too short. Now use a Mavic mini and very happy with it too. Landing it on a boat can still be heart stopping!!

Great content.....drone adds new dimension...
Thanks James, we enjoy making them, and we're glad you enjoy watching them. H&M 👍
Absolutely beautiful videography and drone use. It's one of my favourite places in the world. thank you.
Hi John, ye it amazing how many boaters pass by the Carnadoe lakes and miss out on one of the most beautiful spots on the waterways.
Great video. Quality content showing the waterways for everyone to enjoy. Looking forward to our next cup of tea and biscuits. Karl
All we need now is the weather to enjoy the waterway! Don't mind the tea, a pint in Donalan's 😃 Oh the chance would be a fine thing 😃😃😃
Love all of your videos on TH-cam
Thanks Robert you're a gentleman 👍
These drones are fantastic things!😀👍
Yes they sure are. Few years ago you'd need a helicopter to get those shots 😂

Thanks for that. The SEW is open again now. Might see you sat in Carrick before you pick up your boat, drop over if you spot us. H&M

Thanks for that, glad you enjoyed it. Yes the kayak is great for exploring too. H&M
Is this the river mentione in JOHN DENEVOR'S " Country Roads" ? I love it very much.......
Nope, John Denver sings about the Shenandoah river in West Virginia. 👍
Nice to see
Thanks Kalevi 👍
Ah Harry.... You're getting to be a dab hand with that drone.... Still have the spark, or have you upgraded?
Thanks Chris, ye I sold the spark and got a Mavic mini. The longer battery life makes all the difference. It can stay up for 30mins 😀
@@DriftwoodBoatBlog aye, yeah.... It certainly looked like you were in the air for quite a bit! 30mins is great.
Living the dream
Ha, it looks that way!

Hi, not sure what make it is, it's just a basic kayak. It's probably a little small for me really. I'll have to diet!
Did I hear you say you are getting a set of cockpit covers made for your boat ? When do you hope to be back out on the boat for 2021
Hi David, yes we're hoping to get a canopy made as soon as the lockdown is over. That's also the day we hope to get out and about on the boat again too 👍
Is Kilglass Lough very shallow, I would like to see
Loads of depth there Kalevi. No shops so buy before you go!
