എന്റെ മുത്തശ്ശിയുടെ വീടും ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു. തൃശ്ശൂർ ആറാട്ടുപുഴയിൽ. പണ്ട് ( ഒരു 10 വയസ്സ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ) അമ്മൂമ്മയുടെ കൂടെ ആറാട്ടുപുഴ വരെ നടന്ന് പൂരത്തിനു പോയ ഒരു കാലം എനിക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പാടത്തിന്റെ നടുവിലൂടെയാണ് പോകാറ്. ആ വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് 70 ഓളം ആനളുടെ അകമ്പടിയോടെ പൂരം കാണുന്നത് ഒരു വികാരമായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് ആ വീട് പൊളിച്ചു terrace വീടാക്കി. ഇന്ന് ആ തറവാടുമില്ല, മുത്തശ്ശിയുമില്ല, അമ്മൂമയുമില്ല, പൂരവുമില്ല😔. അതൊക്കെ ഒരു കാലം😞
