Nothing beats the convenience of having 1000s of your favourite books on you wherever you go. The ability to search, take notes and look up words easily is also super convenient. Having to hold the book so that it doesn't close is also something I don't miss at all. All this romanticism around the smell of old books I understand, but is very cliched. Try a kindle. I swear there is no going back
I love Kindle!! It has improved my vocabulary because word meanings are so easily available at one tap! I'd be really lazy to look up a word if it was an actual book 📕

Plug the covers bend if you just drop it in you bag, so kindle is a great choice for people who read a lot like multiple books at the same time.
It's much better option for me as well , as much as I like paper back books but I can't have time to read it at daytime and I sleep in combined room so at night I can't on the light , SO READING ON TABLET IS MUCH EASIER AND COST EFFECTIVE WAY.

@howardstark5467 i have ipad and kindle both.. and my reading experience is better on kindle for 3 main reasons.. 1) kindle is lighter and more comfortable to hold.. 2) kindle is less stressful for my eyes on prolonged exposure.. 3) kindle has no distractions

Kindle is slightly more gentle on your eyes compared to tabs and because you don’t have other apps draining the battery, it gives you more run time :) especially when you read a lot! Also, it’s lighter than most tabs.

Some books are available on Kindles for free but for some you have to pay but it's MUCH cheaper like 7 dollar book would be for 1
