just love this recipe. I am doing it on Nov. 30 for a birthday party. Will serve it in a Mediterranean cream sauce. Thank you so much. Will copy cat your recipe.
Poaching is my favorite way to cook salmon & cod. Always juicy n tender. I use lemon juice with cooking wine & lots of butter. The remaining liquid I pour over a bed of rice. Asparagus is my go to side dish with salmon but will try your broccoli side next time. Great video!
Sounds great! So happy you enjoyed! If you have a min and could write us a review on our website so we could inspire others. Would be greatly appreciated.
Be prepared for it to cook rapidly. Over cooked when I did it as it was too hot. I'd say less than a minute of elevated temp and all the sudden the fat released instantly. Don't allow it to get even close to boiling.
@@inspiredtaste Thanks! I actually tried it. Came out great except I overcooked it a bit but luckily I prefer it a tad overcooked. Salmon cooks pretty fast. Thanks!
🍋🌎👀 I'm watching to see what does she do with the limit I'm also just pondering thinking I wonder if we submerged the lemon slices in the liquid it would steam up releasing the liquid citrus into the food and then it will not burn it will prevent it from burning if you place it on top of the fish and rings it will just burn and give the nasty taste with the rhyme in the soups and things so that's submerged in liquid that makes a horrible flavor you have to put the lemon in citrus after the meal has been prepared the fish is prepared then you add the lemon aromatics

If your local grocery store doesn't sell fennel, would fennel powder work the same?

Hi there, the liquid actually becomes pretty bitter, so it's really more of a flavor enhancer while cooking than something to eat after.
You have to put wine during cooking to have a bettere result
Yum!
No, you don't. But you can.
Great recipe for salmon. Salmon is the worst tasting fish ever, but this works.
There many ways to make it but, this is one of our favorites 💙 💛
