Passed my test on Wednesday with no minors, absolutely over-joyed! Everything went perfect on the day. The key is to just drive like normal and remain calm throughout.

Yeh some of them are a bit tricky. Even as an experienced driver. I always check out google maps before a big journey you can see the road markings so it gives you a good idea of what to do when to get there. If you are not in the right lane you have to just accept it go around again and get back in the correct lane.
I have my driving test in two weeks and this video has really helped me to understand what to expect! Also the flashing red when they do something wrong is a really useful tool! Thanks keep up the great videos ;)

I have passed my theory this friday and i have my past my practical after 3 days of the theory test without any driving school and any instructor. I like these videos and i don't know if it's just me but i think it might be more helpful if there's a speedometer we could look at to show us what speed the drivers are currently doing etc.

This video really helped. Ive got a mock driving test next week. This video taught me that its really important to abide by the mirror signal manoeuvre rule since in Toby and Jo's mock test they both got multiple faults for not checking their mirrors when signalling. Thanks for this. Hope I pass :)

+Josh Green I stopped at a yellow because I was scared of going through a red light, and because I was going quite quick I stopped over the line. I would have passed if I had just kept going through the yellow light :) good luck with your test, I'm getting early nights to make sure I'm awake enough for 9pm this Friday.
Omg those houses in the UK are so cute and classic looking. It's overwhelming to see a whole bunch of them in uniformity. It's like driving through a classic American suburb for the whole entire drive. Houses here don't get as uniform as that!

Passed my driving test with 2 driving faults 2 days ago, really easy people do not panic. It's really different when you have the examiner and not the instructor.
My driving test is in 3 days and I am super nervous about it but watching these videos are making me feel a bit more relaxed and making me feel like I am ready for it 😊

I think Perry is the best person to watch if you are nervous. He is so slow and calm. Toby is quite fast and kind of drives like a normal person, which you really dont need.
I failed today because I entered a mini roundabout when a car was about 15 meters away from the right. 2 minors but because I went on the roundabout I got a serious. I was always taught that if its walking distance you should go for it
OwnedByZynamo Man I honestly thought about it in my head before I went and I felt I could have walked it easily. He was coming in quite fast but I made the turn with time about 3 seconds left before he was at his junction. My fail was for observations at roundabout. I have rebooked my test any tips?
He knew he made a serious mistake at the roundabout by his facial expression at 30:53; it's all part of the learning process. But Toby seems like a reasonably competent driver so I'm sure he will pass his test soon.

If you make a conscious decision to read comments before you watch the video and find out what the video is about....then yes...I am blaming you. In the same way if you read movie reviews before you watch the actual movie and find out what the movie is about, it would also be your fault.
***** Have I hit a soft spot? p.s. if you weren't aware, the major film review sites explicitly tell you if the review contains spoilers, so poor example there buddy.
I struggle to process all the information at once, and balancing out clutch control. I find hills difficult to pull away from, finding that point on the clutch with gas just before you move off. Joining on a slip road and quickly changing up gears I also find a nuisance. I've been told that I need to plan ahead more, rather than reacting as it comes, which I find myself doing a lot out of hesitation. I think this is because the clutch confuses me in conjunction with slowing down and speeding up, I'm constantly checking my speed encase I'm moving too fast, and I often find when I'm observing the road ahead I make more gear and clutch mistakes. Part of me feels maybe an automatic car would be better, as I'm not a good multitasker, but I'm unsure.
Even tho im only 16 I really wish i could get my provisional driving license just now and start learning. Whenever I try to drive or watch videos like that I calm down. I can't wait until 17th birthday and start driving :D

Hey World Driving, I had my first test and I failed in a matter of seconds for turning right out of a test centre. At the end she told me the reason I failed was because turning right out of a test centre and I was too much too the right, but I was generally in the middle area allowing room for cars to pass either side of me and there are no road markings on the test centre so I positioned myself where I believe to be it to be safe and for cars to pass either side of me. She also told that I took a lot of chances because generally I would roll in first gear in and around roundabouts and junctions without stopping. And that's where I got marked down 3 times for observations even though I always made sure it was safe to go and occasionally I did stop at junctions.(especially closed junctions).
It's because you've watched other learner videos where the learner drives too slowly. Toby's one of the *very* few mock test drivers I've seen who actually drives at the speed limit! He's an excellent driver. I actually think he should have passed this mock... the serious for creeping out over the give way line was a bit harsh IMO.

That one way system was actually really cool, we should have more of them, maybe with the exits tight together and put around busy junctions. We could call them circleturns. Or crossroundroads. Or maybe even junctatopsies. What do you think? I'd say I'm onto something here.
***** Very much so! Just curious, in this video i'd assume the first two faults were likely "minor" faults? To my knowledge, failing to observe by making use of all mirrors can also be a serious or dangerous fault, depending on severity.
ive got my test soon. had 37 hours so far, i have done over 700 miles in my own car, my parents wouldn't let me go anywhere near having a test until they both felt i would be a safe driver with confidence. my instructor has been trying to get me to book my test since my second block of 10, but my parents wouldn't allow it. i hope i pass, its on 18th sept. if i pass first time my parents will pay for the insurance for me for the first year

Try drawing out the roundabouts and marking down where you have to go, it really helps!

I failed for a silly little mistake at traffic lights but apart from that i only got 4 minors, shame there's a 2 month wait to book another test!

That's south London I think. He got a bit lucky with the (relative lack of) traffic. :P

That one way system was actually really cool, we should have more of them, maybe with the exits tight together and put around busy junctions. We could call them circleturns. Or crossroundroads. Or maybe even junctatopsies. What do you think? I'd say I'm onto something here.

Just curious, in this video i'd assume the first two faults were likely "minor" faults?
To my knowledge, failing to observe by making use of all mirrors can also be a serious or dangerous fault, depending on severity.

World Driving passed with only 5 minors, hesitation and lane positioning at roundabouts but corrected myself

ive got my test soon. had 37 hours so far, i have done over 700 miles in my own car, my parents wouldn't let me go anywhere near having a test until they both felt i would be a safe driver with confidence. my instructor has been trying to get me to book my test since my second block of 10, but my parents wouldn't allow it.
i hope i pass, its on 18th sept. if i pass first time my parents will pay for the insurance for me for the first year

nice roundabouts in your test routes. Ours are like multi 5 lane lane gyratory or is it giratory spelling?
