It is NOT okay to blast music in an apartment! Unfortunately we live in a selfish entitled society now where humans just don’t have consideration for others. Or consequences!!!
People use the terms "Apartment Living". Apartment living ALSO includes having respect for neighbors. It's not hard to do. When it affects your mental and physical well-being, THAT is a problem and should be taken seriously.
I've had a--holes for neighbors. It got so bad, I had to get a hotel room several times to get a good night's sleep. I've been gaslit by people disregarding what I went through. I called the police every night. I caontacted my city councilman and the mayor to let them know how it's affecting me. I didn't give up. The police raided that drug house. I am relieved.
I did confront my neighbor, I politely asked for them to lower the noise and this man threatened to "Shoot me dead" in his words. I called the police and submitted a police report. He always comes up to my door because he is a miserable person. I am moving. I also bought a firearm. I've never had anyone say they wanted to redrum me before it was traumatic. All my neighbors are bullies.
See confronting your neighbor is a trap. It’s also a manipulation because we have been scammed to believe we live in this perfect world. We live in a shit world. And if there is a cow on the road, what do you Do???? Get out and politely ask it to move??? No, we drive around it. Take that person as a maaaaaajor human blessing because now you know what to look for and hopefully how to deal with. You chalk it as a loss and deal with it, then you move out. The beeeeest part for you is you live in an apartment. I’d say terminate lease, pay what ever fees and just get out. ALSO major props on your firearm. Don’t keep it locked up. Keep its close to you and ready to go at all times.
I personally don't think that some people were meant to live in such close proximity to others. Some people have behaviors, lifestyles, and temperaments not conducive to living in close proximity to people outside their respective families. Even though your current situation may be better than a previous one, it does not mean that your current one is not bad or it's "all in your head". You deserve a peaceful living environment and the f****** that are so noisy should be banished from living so close to others. I will never, ever live under someone again. You never know when a good neighbor will move out and an atrocious tenant will move in.
It happens quite a bit, an nobody listens till someone is pushed too far an they get shot. I know what its like to go through torture like this an nothings ever done about it.
My upstairs neighbors are horrible. They stomp and slam and throw furniture if I dare to use my apartment for its intended uses. They listen to me using the toilet. cooking, sleeping, phone conversations, etc. One night I made a boiled egg and toast and it sounded like a construction site upstairs. So glad I am moving out in 3 months.
Same. They eavesdrop on our conversations and phone call, comment on the dishes we make, laugh when we pee cus of peeing noises, and make so much noise when they have people over, which is almost everyday, to top it off, they have a wooden weaving loom that they bang all day, it's a source of income for them (not their only one), but it's been a nightmare for me. Our homes are supposed to be peaceful, sacred places where we can relax and breathe, but for me it feels like I'm always holding my breath. Also they outwardly show and say things that are scornful and hurtful, like passing comment mocking someone. Hoping they get their karma
I’m dealing with a neighbor who lives above me and he generates a ton of noise pollution. It has robbed me of sleep, serenity, and peace of mind to the point at which it’s effected my physical health. You helped me and understand. Thank you so much
I feel horrible for you. You have to be careful because some neighbors hate when people are constantly complaining about their misdeeds and will target you if they find out that you are constantly complaining about them and reporting them to management.
well its a no win situation. if you do nothing they will do it even more. if you let them know. or complain or record it and report to police, managment or sue them or blast loud music back or throw stuff at there apartment or glass on the floor by there door so when they step outside they and there kids will step in glass. they think twice or you might get results.
Who is defending blasting music in an apartment? There are different rules and noise laws when it comes to apartments and nobody should have to be bothered by someone else's music and noise. That's such a selfish outlook to think that you're special enough that your enjoyment trumps other people's peace and quiet. You can easily listen to music at a reasonable volume that doesn't disturb your direct neighbors and mainly it just requires turning the bass level down bc that's what travels through the floors and walls the easiest. I feel like apartments should come equipped with decibel meters that act like lunk alarms at gyms, but instead of an alarm, it just instantly shuts the power off to the offender's apartment. 😂
I'm dealing with noise issues from the upstair neighbor too and being nice/polite definitely doesn't help. Yes, it is absolutely draining and affects my mental health.. The people above my unit aren't paying rent and they've been squatting there for 3yrs now. The apartment manager says they can't do anything regarding the people and noise, so they told me to move. Smdh..
Currently dealing with annoying loud neighbors on top of that they leave their shoes outside the hallways which I have to walk over every morning. I’ve started kicking their shoes in front of their door every time I pass 😅
There’s nothing worse for me than poor sleep This is unfortunate I’ve experienced a few issues like this over the years but nothing major, I’ve learnt that talking usually does absolutely nothing, so I take the approach of what can I do to control the situation. I’ve learnt a few creative white noise ways, fans etc! And having back up plans sleeping in my car etc, also scoping out the apartment before moving in, in regards to the building structure, thin floors , common walls and where is the lift/ elevator etc, There’s a guy on TH-cam who experienced your exact same issue and he set up microphones recording and audio system to play the noise back to them 10 seconds delayed after every noise they made😂 apparently it drove them crazy hearing their own noise played back! Trust me I’ve thought of some things but never done it. I totally understand your frustration, especially when people have absolutely no regard for their neighbours, as I’m an early to sleep early to rise person myself
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with your horrible neighbors. I consider that you are brave, and that you expressed in words as I currently feel. These videos about your experience dealing with the management and the neighbors helped me a lot to understand that I’m not the only one dealing with these kinds of situations, that I’m not crazy, that I’m not bothering with small things. And as you said, there comes a point where it affects your mental health, your sleep routine is affected, you’re upset all the time by the situation. Unfortunately, annoying and noisy neighbors will not understand the frustration until they live under neighbors like themselves. Thank you very much, really helped me a lot.
My next door neighbors are so horrible. They keep partying every week from 2pm to 12 am. They keep doing this sometimes 2 to 4 times a week. I have had enough of this. If they do this one more time that is my breaking point. I am just going to blast loud music through all of my speakers and devices so I can annoy them. I will also throw a ball back and forth between walls so they know how it feels like to not go to asleep and be annoyed
I remember your video last year and I’m commenting since the noise from my neighbor has started again. Luckily it wasn’t at like 2 am. But it did wake me up and as someone who also values and needs their sleep, honestly it did kind of piss me off. Now it’s when I’ve looked at legal action and what not.. I’ll be calling the leasing office to file a complaint before speaking with my neighbor again just as a back up. I hear your pain. I was so effected by being woken up that I am high anxiety now before I even go to sleep. Its difficult and I’m at the point where it’s unacceptable and I’ll be doing the most to try and communicate with people and be polite, but it is difficult to feel heard.
Break your lease and move out. It's better to take a financial blow than risk jail time and mental illness. Literally moving the hell out now as I speak. Good luck and take action.
I feel you. I live by myself I’m also a Asian girl and I’m very short I have been discriminated/bullied since I study aboard. I moved to an apartment end of last year and upstairs neighbourhood start blasting music from early morning (I think around 9am usually. Cuz when I wake up and I can already hear it Their music is heavy bass or heavy beat so I can hear it so loud and clear I can hear their step like elephant. And they usually keep talking super loud and playing music until 11pm sometimes midnight. I have been to upstairs floor to make sure that they are truly the noisy source. But their room seems really scary and I can hear 2\3 guys talking all the time. I don’t dare to argue because I’m afraid I will get revenge
You’re making the right choice. Don’t say nothing to them. Play stupid and just figure a way to move out. Be suuuuuuper happy this isn’t happening at a house you poured your whole savings into and have a family in it. These people have saved your life because now you know what to look for when you move. If anything be happy they kill the music at 12 cold turkey and give you that time of peace. If I were you id double job it. Try to work as much hour in the day you can so you can save as much money as you can and maybe you can put a down payment at a spot that has no neighbors. Remember when you buy a house, people could have dogs that bark all day so try your best to find a spot That’s pretty close to neighborless so you never have an issue again.
Hi Lily, I admire your strength for dealing with those neighbors and the apartment team. I'm glad you got out of that situation because I don't know how I would've handled it if I were you. I'm currently dealing with noisy neighbors myself. My apartment building's floors are very thin. I CONSTANTLY hear my upstairs neighbors, any time of day to the middle of the night, moving, dropping or dragging furniture as well as heavy footsteps. They aren't the true owners as they're renting under someone else's name. It's remarkable and concerning how this guy has all this energy to move all day. I had first complained to the apartment board team who contacted the property manager. He did an inspection upstairs to see if they were following the 80% carpeting rule, which they did not. A week later, I kindly confronted them myself face to face. It was a man and his pregnant wife. The guy who answered the door was a jerk. Not only that, but I peeked into their apartment and it was a MESS. He kept interrupting me as I was explaining, being in denial of the noise saying, "What noise, lady? There is no noise. She's just sitting there." The fact he had to gesture his wife over to talk to me bothers me. She was more understanding about it. She said they were going to have the carpeting installed that week hopefully reducing the noise. So now I'm thinking, "oh great, so I'll have to deal with a crying, screaming baby on top of all this." There are nothing wrong with babies, but I'm already dealing with a lot of noise from them. I thought smartly and recorded the conversation on my phone in my pocket to build a case against them. I also have many video recordings of how loud he can be. It didn't really improve. I can hear this jerk as early as at 5:30am, continuing on for two hours or so. Constantly walking back and forth. He seems to be in the bedroom the most. I understand if people have to work, but he NEVER seems to leave the apartment. I did end up gently knocking on the ceiling three times. I'll keep doing it if he wakes me up abruptly as I'm sleeping. The noise still continued. Two weeks ago, I couldn't take it anymore so I kindly slipped a note under their door reminding them to be more mindful. I'm still keeping an eye out for any noise change. If it doesn't, I'm going to keep pestering the board members and property manager. I just want to enjoy some peace and quiet in my apartment. Apparently that's too much to ask... However, I am doing renovation soon, so I'll get to cause all the chaos I want in revenge. Mwahaha. But until then, please pray for me, yall...
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I hope the carpeting helps a little bit. It’s a scary sign that they’re already loud and they haven’t even had the baby yet. Definitely keep pestering the board and property manager. That is the only way to get them to care. Praying for you girl!
Sending love and strength back to you!!! 🍰🍨❤️ Short story time if anyone wants to read what happens when you confront neighbors 🍿🍿🍿: I have a neighbor who constantly shifts his furniture around and I finally went upstairs after a friend told me I have to do something about it. She also heard it when she was here and I had never told her about it and she was shocked how often and loud that shifting happens... So I went up equipped with some furniture gliders right after they did a 5+ seconds shifting of something like a large table (?). Spoiler : it didn't change anything.... A friendly looking person opened the door and told me that they did not shift furniture but they can also hear hammering all time and are "suffering" from that and he asked me if I would hammer a lot. - No I don't -_- Then another roomate showed up at the door joining in the conversation that we had and asked if I would never ever shift furniture around. I thought it's a random question back then but looking back at that question I find it strange that he asked ...Then he asked for my name and told me his name: Malik. I know it's just a coincidence that his name is the name of an angel guarding hell but I normally do not believe in coincidences...sleep deprivation and a vivid phantasy do the rest here..I was shivering all over after the conversation and probably have been lied to. Basically they are blaming it on others now but the flat right next to them is empty and the other flat is too far off...They said thanks to me for complaining in person. This was about two weeks ago now. There is daily furniture shifting ever since and I'm talking about shifting for minutes to hours just few seconds every here and then all day long. Last night at 2am I was woken up and then kept awake by his really inhumane loud footsteps and shifting smaller things around (it's hard to describe and I have no clue why he does that all time). The house might not be the best in terms of sound insulation but there were no issues with the neighbors that lived there before. I also walk even softer at night and just normal at day time, got a broom instead of a vacuum cleaner and just move my chairs a little careful at the table instead of moving the table to the chairs ...so I become more and more silent while my neighbors literally walking in my flat... I hope there's a solution soon because the constant sound is nothing less than torture at this point..
Loud furniture shifting is painful and that often is so unnecessary! I wish I could understand what these people are thinking or maybe they just aren’t. I’m proud of you for speaking to them and am so sorry it didn’t fix the issue :( praying for some peace for you!
I'm having same issues with my downstairs neighbours which is ironic because I'm upstairs and I'm the one who's suffering in this whole story! From furniture shifting all day long, literally all day, dropping heavy things that I can't describe, stomping feet and kids screaming and running and playing football at home!!!! You feel like the ground is shaking when they're running from 6 a.m. till 11 or 12 p.m. during holidays. I can't take it anymore and I had many confrontations with them and the last one was brutal and was about to get into physical confrontation because they are loud and shameless at the same time!
buy a ceiling vibrator thumper, and leave it on all day. the noise goes both way even if you on the 1st floor. i used one because upstair neighbor was constantly stomping the floor, the next day and following weeks they were quiet as a mouse. Anytime they start again i turn it on and within 15min everything goes quiet.
My downstairs neighbors are my problem, they have kids like from 6 to 10 years and they scream and throw things all day, they wake me up, and I can't sleep untel they're quiet, and recently they bought a home theater, now they put loud music and it makes vibration on my floor, I feel so frustrated because I can't sleep until they do, I can't focus when I try to study, this is mentally draining, there's no one to complain about, because its an open apartment, my mom tried once to speak to them, and the lady insulted my mom, I don't know what to do, my room its vibrating as I type this because of their loud music
My heart goes out to you. I know what this feels like. We moved house as our neighbours were throwing parties. What I learned from it is that the police can do nothing so better to walk away if u can - I hope this is an option for you. However sad that is. I understand though how it can destroy ur mental health - stay strong. Also u mentioned in another video u had the thought was this karma - it is not karma u do not deserve this no one does. U got unlucky and there is no purpose to this. These people r clearly very unconscious. However good u don’t own the apartment as easier to get away. Good luck with whatever option u choose - stay and fight or leave. Ur a strong woman that’s for sure. Stay strong ❤
Hi Lily, My heart goes out to you! Watching you describe your experience of inconsiderate Neighbours, and lack of due diligence from the relevant authorities, makes my blood boil. I have my own experience of such matters here in Australia, and what really gets me is this: There are many laws, and legislations, which clearly state, that noise should not injure, nor diminish or interfere with ones right to enjoy and thrive in their home, however, when people rightfully expect the relevant authorities to end the antisocial behaviors, etc., they fail miserably. Why?? You requested posts suggesting content. Im interested in how you managed to live through this, what interventions have you employed, etc. I have a medical background, and Id be very interested to know how you managed to navigate this nightmare. I hope you are doing better lily. Doctors reports regarding the impact on your whole person, are crucial to success in these matters. Sending you light and peace💛🙏🐈
Thank you for your perspective all the way from Australia! I’m so disappointed this is such a huge issue. I truly believe these problems are swept under the rug because it’s easy for management to ignore since they’re not the ones enduring it. I was truly at the end of my rope and felt I had nothing to lose so I constantly complained to management. I called corporate and left bad reviews online. I spent a lot of time at local cafés doing schoolwork because I could actually focus there. Posting these videos have helped me so much because I learned that I’m not alone or crazy. My mental health was not good nor my physical health but knowing that people empathized with my situation helped greatly. I am much better now that I am away from the chaos. My mental and physical health have improved so much. I wish some studies could be done on how these situations can be so harmful. I hope that answered your question? Thank you for your comment and kindness 💛
No one else has complained! I've had that said to me many, yes many, times. But that's all it takes is one person. That's so unbearable That noise is unbearable, 2:08 disregarding and plain rude! How can others not recognize the issue. I mean they obviously hear it. Upstairs is not singling you out, its for all neighbors to hear. IDGet it!
There's no encouragement. Move where there's no neighbors above or below. If you can't, sleep in your car, in park. If you don't have car, that's where society fails people. I had an upstairs move in after me...put his tv to station same as mine, but he blasted it like he was trying to make building think that was me...When I turned off my tv sound,, he turned off his, even though his was way louder...I affably confronted him, asked if my tv bothered him. He said no, was very nice but his explanation was forgettable, made no sense and I soon moved. Rest of neighbors were odd too.
In my case it's not my upstairs neighbors but the ones right next to me. They have been hammering and drilling almost every day since December. They start at 7 AM and don't stop until the evening. I work late afternoon shifts so I need sleep in the morning but I keep getting woken up by their extremely loud noise. It's mental and physical torture at this point because I'm not getting any sleep and constantly have headaches. Not to mention that I don't have any peace and quiet in my own home. I've complained to management but they basically said that they can't do anything about it. I've tried asking the neighbors if they will be done any time soon because it's bothering me and other neighbors and these grown men just started giggling, said that they don't care, closed the door and started drilling again.
Surely management could ask them to cut down on the drilling since it’s their property? You didn’t ask to live at a construction site so management should intervene.
Living in low income apartments I cant tell you how much i empathize and how much your vids help people. Alot of times I second guess myself and wonder if im being too sensitive but some people really are too crazy with noise. I may be a metalhead and can deal with some level of noise but I still hate excessive neighbor noise that is unreasonable! I use headphones almost all the time im in my apartment and sometimes the noises go over that. People are crazy!!
Same we have these kids that come over on the weekend and their parents so there’s 9 ppl up in a 3 bed apt at once and they run jump thud yell scream cry slam things throw marbles and it’s hell the mom is a ex heroine addict and doesn’t know the father for 3 of her kids…….. we went to the office and still nothing had been different from these loser glad we are getting a house this December 3 months pray for me
@@p0m0love76 i know i am on ssi. and this is all i have. the waiting list is 2 to 3 years. so i have to fight for my apartment. i got them to stop. but i had to threaten them and throw a glass cup and paint in there back yard to force them to stop. i deal with this for 1 year and 2 months straight. and had enough.
I've worn heavy plastic ear muffs for a decade now, but at various times I actually moved to foreign countries and didn't need them. Back in 2019 moved abroad and mostly for 4 years had no problems- but moved back 2 months ago and really need to wear them again!
updated 2024. so march 2024. landlord said there not renewing the lease. that is up in may 2024. i check hud/section 8 and ohio revised code laws. and it states that they have to have a good cause. i talk to a self help lawyer who suppose to give me a legal aid lawyer. and they said and rules say tenants must not disturb tenants rights to a peaceful quiet enjoyment of the premises and must not play musical instruments and sound and radio that would disturb its neighbors. 3. complaining about your neighbors and going to there boss. HUD,ohio civil rihts commision because they did not do nothing is landlord relaititon. 4. even tho i throw a glass cup and paint on neighbors yard at 3am in the morning. because neighbors blast loud music. 5. and will not stand in court for a valid reason for a eviction. because landlord can be held lieable for tenant on tenant harassment. or not handling tenant complains. 6.
Totally agree… still traumatized by an upstairs neighbour who blasted music with bass every night for about 2 months. I literally didn’t mind if she played music on a Friday or Saturday night. But Monday night at 2am? And I tried to ask her nicely about 3 or 4 times, my last resort was threatening to file a noise complaint with the police. Most municipalities have noise by laws, I think my city has an 11pm limit if it’s a weekday and not in the entertainment district ( like a residential area)
i feel you. i am in your position right now. scared about getting evicted. 2. why didn't you go to court and fight it. 3. i am willing ot risk a 3 year eviction record. for this. because fair housing laws, ohio revised code lwas and disablity rights nad hud handbook states that landlord trying to evict or not renew the lease based on complaining about loud music and noise is illegally and they can be sue, held lieable and force to pay tenants for stuff. 6.
I understand this completely I live in NYC where it is legal to run a daycare from your apartment!!!! I am just waiting for my lease to end bc NYC has some of the STRONGEST Tenant protection laws in the nation so it takes forever to get rid of bad tenants!!! smh…..
Thanks for the videos. I've been through my own fair share, once which I had to endure similar things as you did, but for years, and naturally my mental health totally collapsed. It was awful and I developed PTSD because I tried everything and couldn't move out, so my only option was practically murder or suicide it felt like, neither of which were ideal. Eventually it did stop because they moved out, though. Maybe other neigbors complained about them as well, idk.. Though my new upstairs neighbor also makes so much noise at times during the night, which prompted me to find your videos, as a comfort of sorts. Wish people had more respect. I don't mind music and extremely loud banging and such at times, but non-stop or during the night, especially on week days it's just so disrespectful. I once had people do literal drilling at 2 AM. It's madness.
I dealt with this for about 1.5 years. I went the petty route and fought fire with fire, the neighbor moved. Some worse leased the apartment, a older man with hearing issues who would exercise in the apartment above me and play nature sounds at max. The only way the situation will improve, is to move. There are somethings i did to mitigate the issue such as wearing Mack's Slim Fit Earplugs. Those plugs were comfortable and silenced everything but my issue was, i needed to listen to my training audio at times. My noise canceling headphones actually amplified the stomping. You could also try doubling up in the ear plugs with noise canceling headphones, it did muffle out the sound alot but eventually my other issue was I could feel the stomps of my neighbor. My apartment was less than 300 sq ft. I hope you see my reply. Ask questions if needed.
Not so much the idiot neighbour's fault. There is no cure of idiocy. It is more of a design and construction and leasing issue. Everyone is out to make a quick buck. Went through the same shit but you have to gather proof which is difficult to do over time because by that time you just want to get out.
it's both. you can live close to people and be quiet. it's the people who stomp around and blast music as if they're in a house with no one aruond that are the problem.
The only way to make your neighbor being nice is equality. Leave a note, ring their bell and talk to them, call the management, make them busy in general. They will eventually stop and care about you more, nobody want to get complain everyday or week. This only work for normal neighbor btw
I'm sorry you had to deal with this situation...You seem a lot calmer, happier, and relaxed. I'm happy for you! :) I know how stressful that type of situation can be...It literally feels like you are going crazy at points and like you are a prisoner in your own place that you pay for.
I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I think if everyone got a taste of their own medicine, they’d be more considerate! I’m glad she was kicked out, she sounds dangerous. I hope you’re okay now, you take care as well!
that is my next option legal rounte. i am mentally ill so i could not take it after a year. i put glass shars in neighbors front door. and almost was going to beat them up. i try writing a letter. and recorded there apartment number and door and went into my apartment to record the loud music for court. so the lies the landlord nad ghetto neighbor is accused me of harassment. i already got enough video edvince of the neighbors blasting loud music form 10pm to 4am in the morning. and recording from her apartment number and going into mines where the walls are connected. so if got me on camera. i got her on it at the same time. to expose that she is harassing me.
You ever need to talk, write me. I could share Life success advice that may help with professional or personal issues Note 📝: I very rarely reach out but this feels right ☮️
I live 17 years in appartment, my downstairs neighbour is stomping mostly all day long, I have sent a letter many time about this en more but she does not listen.I have to wear noise cancelling headphone at daytime and earplugs at night. I also go walking to avoid the noise. Landlord said its life sounds and normal in appartment If she likes to walk so much why inside?
for being petty their so angry! yes, make hardly any noise and have the upstairs dude come stomping down the stairs and whalloping on my door The mgrs will get mad and accuse me of being absurd by twisting what i say to me, i was talking about THEM!! Its enraging eventually the mgrs would keep breathing fire down my neck 😡 Start meetups amongst yourselves
me pounding on the ceiling and blasting music with a speaker against the ceiling made my previous neighbors move out. oh i tried calling the office initially and they said they would "find out" what's going on up there. they never called to confirm that they even said anything and that office woman has been useless even through the move in process, giving me wrong information... so i just took it into my own hands. give em the gift of the same thing they're giving you and see how fast they flip.
Some people get murdered over being too loud.
When it affects your mental and physical well-being, THAT is a problem and should be taken seriously.
yeah, cause it's the building's fault they can't behave like human beings.
@@earthpart3the building management is blaming her.
that's always puzzled me. And, the mgrs seem to feel it's always like in their ads with happy ppl dancing, etc

That’s exactly why I don’t advise confrontation. Some people are deranged.
I never personally confront my noise abusive neighbor. I tell management. She's on shaky ground....here i go, turn the page.

So crazy that the floors are thin enough they can hear your phone conversations and cooking just not right.
I bet you their karma swallowed them whole

Girl I went through terrible neighbors. It does a toll on a person and its not right. Neighbors need to learn respect
I’m dealing with a neighbor who lives above me and he generates a ton of noise pollution. It has robbed me of sleep, serenity, and peace of mind to the point at which it’s effected my physical health. You helped me and understand. Thank you so much
Fr ppl are so shit and ruin it for others bc they are selfish, hope things get better for you.
I feel horrible for you. You have to be careful because some neighbors hate when people are constantly complaining about their misdeeds and will target you if they find out that you are constantly complaining about them and reporting them to management.
Yep. I learned that the hard way. The noise got worse after I started reporting to management.
well its a no win situation. if you do nothing they will do it even more. if you let them know. or complain or record it and report to police, managment or sue them or blast loud music back or throw stuff at there apartment or glass on the floor by there door so when they step outside they and there kids will step in glass. they think twice or you might get results.
Smdh..
It’s so annoying when we’re told to move when we aren’t the problem!
just make noise back at them deal they're more mad than you are.
Dang girl I feel for you 😞
I hope you found a place with peace and quiet, also you're freaking gorgeous 👌
Awe, thank you!

And having back up plans sleeping in my car etc, also scoping out the apartment before moving in, in regards to the building structure, thin floors , common walls and where is the lift/ elevator etc,
There’s a guy on TH-cam who experienced your exact same issue and he set up microphones recording and audio system to play the noise back to them 10 seconds delayed after every noise they made😂 apparently it drove them crazy hearing their own noise played back!
Trust me I’ve thought of some things but never done it.
I totally understand your frustration, especially when people have absolutely no regard for their neighbours, as I’m an early to sleep early to rise person myself
That's perfect. What video is that? I want to do that in the future.

You are not alone! You deserve peace and happiness! Stay strong.
I will also throw a ball back and forth between walls so they know how it feels like to not go to asleep and be annoyed
that's right.
Hey im curious if it has worked!?
Hi Lily,
I admire your strength for dealing with those neighbors and the apartment team.
Looks like you are recovered from those disasters!!!!!! I’m sooooo happy for you🥹🥹🥹🥹
Thank you!!
Sending love and strength back to you!!! 🍰🍨❤️
Short story time if anyone wants to read what happens when you confront neighbors 🍿🍿🍿:
I have a neighbor who constantly shifts his furniture around and I finally went upstairs after a friend told me I have to do something about it.
- No I don't -_-
Then another roomate showed up at the door joining in the conversation that we had and asked if I would never ever shift furniture around.
I’m so sorry
Wow that's creepy asf
Did you move?
Yes you are right no one knowes how bad it is till it effects them Best wishes
buy a ceiling vibrator thumper, and leave it on all day. the noise goes both way even if you on the 1st floor. i used one because upstair neighbor was constantly stomping the floor, the next day and following weeks they were quiet as a mouse.
YOU GO GIRL😮😮😮😮🎉🎉. Been in this bs situation MANY times and never backed down!!! Its a stressful thing and no one deserves it
My heart goes out to you.
I think it would be worth speaking to a lawyer and telling management you will be speaking to your lawyer

Wow, would I admire your strength 🥃🔥
I am so sorry wtf
Living in low income apartments I cant tell you how much i empathize and how much your vids help people. Alot of times I second guess myself and wonder if im being too sensitive but some people really are too crazy with noise. I may be a metalhead and can deal with some level of noise but I still hate excessive neighbor noise that is unreasonable! i deal with this for 1 year and 2 months straight. and had enough.
Most municipalities have noise by laws, I think my city has an 11pm limit if it’s a weekday and not in the entertainment district ( like a residential area)
i would just slam the ceiling every time you hear it until it stops
i feel you. i am in your position right now. scared about getting evicted. 2. why didn't you go to court and fight it.
3. i am willing ot risk a 3 year eviction record. for this. because fair housing laws, ohio revised code lwas and disablity rights nad hud handbook states that landlord trying to evict or not renew the lease based on complaining about loud music and noise is illegally and they can be sue, held lieable and force to pay tenants for stuff.
6.
thank you Lily.. I am still going through it, but I am happy that you are in a better place now..
I understand this completely I live in NYC where it is legal to run a daycare from your apartment!!!! I am just waiting for my lease to end bc NYC has some of the STRONGEST Tenant protection laws in the nation so it takes forever to get rid of bad tenants!!! smh…..
A daycare from an apartment?! Oh no that’s such a bad idea I’m so sorry
I feel for you.

that is my next option legal rounte. i am mentally ill so i could not take it after a year. i put glass shars in neighbors front door. and almost was going to beat them up. i try writing a letter. and recorded there apartment number and door and went into my apartment to record the loud music for court.
so the lies the landlord nad ghetto neighbor is accused me of harassment. i already got enough video edvince of the neighbors blasting loud music form 10pm to 4am in the morning. and recording from her apartment number and going into mines where the walls are connected. so if got me on camera. i got her on it at the same time. to expose that she is harassing me.
