Scott Carpenter was an astronaut and there is a school named after him in one of the western suburbs. Also, I grew up in OLD Thornton, it's its own story!
Hello Marian thank you for your comment! Thank you for that fun fact we actually did not know that. Lived in south Thornton for a bit and loved walking to Carpenter park!
Lived there in 1979 and 1980 bares no resimulance to the Thornton of 1980. I believe the population was around 45,000 you better enjoy it in 40 years you won't recognize it ! It will go fast !

Hello Veronica thank you for your comment! Arras park really started developing after we had made this video and funny enough its a project a developer and I almost took on a few years back!
