Eastlake is not Old Towne Thornton. Russell Blvd and Eppinger and that area is old Thornton. You know, the Jane Russel homes? The ones she helped design in the early 50's? That's old Thornton. Eastlake wasn't even a thing when I was a kid, it was like, farms and stuff.
Hello Christy thank you for your comment. Technically yes east lake isn’t old town Thornton. Our reference is geared more towards having that small town gathering space. Thank you for watching!
Hello Sam thank you for watching. Biggest thing that Thornton has going against, is it’s on the east side of the highway. Rule of thumb in the Denver Metro is west side of i25 is typically more expensive than the east side.
Serious growth, my brother and I lived in Thornton Colorado in 1979, great place to live then, population was around 40,000, rent, nice 2 bedroom home with family room a whopping 365 dollars a month ! Oh how I long for the good ole days ! LOL

Eastlake was like 3 building when I was kid, only went there if you were thrown out of school.
If Thronton is that great why is the real estate price is below the neighboring areas?

I grew up there in the 80s and 90s was wonderful, after I visited it went completely down hill.
What do you think has went downhill? We like many of the improvements and development that has come in the last few years.
Only nice if you live past 104th. Grew up there, and the old half of the city was left to rot.
Hello Haven thank you for your comment. Good news is Thornton is putting some money into the revitalization of south Thornton!
Yeah, I live off 136th and it is a fairyland compared to like 96th, it’s falling apart down there
@@ColoradoLife4u where did you hear that just curious?

Thank you for watching! Not that we’ve heard of, the way Thornton is blowing up though we could easily se that being a reality in the near future!

SGV thank you for the comment and thank you for watching!

Hello Risse thank you for watching! Unfortunately we don’t work in rentals and the resources we have are super limited.

Hello Jorel thank you for watching! There is definitely a difference between new and old Thornton, overall Thornton is showing some serious growth.
