- When Maggie Cunningham found a camera disguised as a cellphone charger in the bathroom at a Starbucks near Albany, New York, she didn't know what to think. "I was using the bathroom and [in the power outlet], I noticed what looked like an end of an iPhone charger, like a black cube," she told Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero, showing her where she found the hidden camera. Cunningham immediately took the device to her co-workers to examine it. #InsideEdition

I was trying to explain to her that someone could have been *filming* my sister doing her business, but she didn't believe that cameras could be hidden in a bathroom!(thankfully that changed when I showed her how easy it was to buy one!) I never found out if there really was a camera 🤦. If I HAD found one, I would have called the police and then told the owner of the store we were in

i’m more than aware that there’s cameras everywhere. if you own a cellphone, most likely, there’s at least a couple people on the other side of the world who’ve seen every detail about you. it desensitizes me to these kinds of things-like finding cameras in public places. i’d still bring it to the police, but it’s not like i’d be shocked. if you can believe it, i always check bathrooms prior to using them. i used to have a fear of finding a camera, now it doesn’t bother me nearly as much after having the experience. it’s weird, but i guess it’s a coping mechanism. i don’t think anyone should do this to someone else. it’s disgusting. invading anyone’s privacy is disgusting-especially when they’re in a vulnerable state, like using the restroom.
