Die Hard 3 is better than 2 IMO. Two is a retread, still has moments, but three expands on the character and opens up the whole city to the craziness instead of just one location.
Die Hard 1 and 2 are the best. Die Hard 3 wasn’t the best. Live Free or Die Hard was also pretty good. It looked like a good reboot to a classic since Be Cool with John Travolta

I used to work for AMC THEATRES 1990-1997. It was a good movie overall. Directed by Renny Harlin, also directed Cliffhanger. Second fiddle to Die Hard. Good popcorn movie.

Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Steven Seagal, Bernie Mac(RIP), Robin Harris(RIP), Eddie Murphy, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington are my favorite movie actors.
The concept of flight plan and contingency diverting to another airport wasn't invented in aviation before 1990. Pilots will just keep circling at the same airport regardless of landing conditions. It doesn't matter if all landing instruments are out, doesn't matter if there is zero visibility and if ATC keeps putting you on a holding pattern for 2 hours; they will just keep circling like vultures over dead meat and come down hard one way or another. And when they see plans burning on the runaway, they will just keep piling up on the tail end and hope for the best.
And the fact that some of the people is based fairly close to real people. Colonel Stewart and General Garza(The Expendables-2010) is from the same Mexican unit. Ndrangheta has a relationsship with Swiss companies(Hans Gruber or Simon-1995) which is why they have German accent. Ndrangheta is paying mexican special force for doing dirty jobs. Most of the mercenary's in this franchise have been on vacation in Italy or Switzerland According to a rumor Ilaria Alpi was killed because she discovered a connection between Ndrangheta & Italian armed forces.

Die Hard 2: 2/10 - complete nonsense rubbish without any suspense and with death of 200 innocent people Die Hard 3: 6/10 Rest parts of movies I dont even comment... Die Hard 2 has no suspense at all and its because john is helping everone on airport and in original Die Hard he was alone at the building and police did not even believe there is something wrong for the big part of the movie and even if they later knew, they still didnt admire John's actions

I don't necessarily hate DH2 and it is watchable. But when compared to the original, it just isn't as good. What's crazy though, is they almost pull it off with DH3 which should've been the one out on July 4th. 😂

Agree to disagree on this one. The original is far superior and DH2 is sub par at best. However, DH3 is almost as good as the original.
