Jimin was recognized for his traditional fan dance for raising awareness from the cultural conservative society. You should watch their 2019 performance, it is mesmerizing. Jimin's solo dance is gorgeous. Jimin's vocals! So beautiful and unique. His stage presence, the way he flirts with the camera, and his dancing, is why he is my bias. Plus his kind and caring personality. seriously check out more live performances. The energy they get from ARMY kicks it up to 11! I saw them in Las Vegas and saw Suga/Agust D in Oakland. I can't wait for 2025 when they are all back together!

That alone is insane (and I mean that in a very good way!) Their promotional attire were suits made out of African material including Ankara and Kente…. The choreography incorporated African dances including “The Gwara Gwara” dance made popular by Rihanna here in the USA… No one is doing anything like BTS back then or now. The more people understand the significance of this song in that it literally infused two cultures, it will be hard to diminish its impact.💜 Thanks for giving it a second look and another chance…💜

You call Artist, you call me Idol I don't care you ain't going stop me loving myself. It's about self love learning to accept and love yourself before you can do that to others. So you have the diss track and the 'love yourself' all rolled into one song. The MV had even more reference's to both side's of what the song was saying but unless you know what it's about and know the reference's you never understand the MV so don't worry.

A lot of this stuff was traditional/cultural instruments, animal dancing (i.e. the korean lion dancing) and other items incorporated into the introduction, then into the music. That's why the other artists' jaw dropped in the beginning. It was an insanely colourful and creative intro, while paying respect to the culture

Cracks me up that this is NOT a CONCERT. It’s an AWARDS SHOW!! They performed several songs too, not just Idol. A MUST watch is their full performance at the 2019 MMA, it’s over 35 mins. You will be shocked at the stage production even more so than this one. It was one of things that made me Army, the heart and effort they put into an award show. They pay for it all themselves even, not the show. It’s not even a comparison to American award show performances. You’ll see 😜💜

This is a major award show where they won a large number of awards and were given a huge amount of stage time this is only part of their set. BTS turn award shows into their personal Concerts. Concerts are even bigger that's why they sell out the biggest stadium in the world in under an hour of tickets going on sale and they offer tickets to the fan base first you are highly unlikely to get a ticket to a BTS stadium concert as a Member of the Public. They will have a live band on stage and sometime's a member will play an instrusement on stage with the live band as they sing.

the stages in korea are insane. very "big show", colorful, bombastic artistic and well-spent. more than vegas's. their internationals are milder :) and BTS's stages at award show are *WOW* each time. they really put their everything. i think this IDOL stage is homage to the korean culture throu the years, if i'm not mistaken.
Someone should have just told you the meaning behind Idols MV, it was purposefully chaotic. To let haters know they don’t care about their opinions and that if they want to use FILTERS then they will. And there’s so much more but that’s all I can really remember at the moment. But the message is right there in the lyrics, YOU CANT STOP ME LOVING MYSELF.
They are so good they used to get accused of lipsyncing so the member would prove otherwise by suddenly stop singing remove the mic's away and stand still and all you'd here would be the music. You can hear their mic's are live as you can hear them take in quick intakes of breath to sing while still dancing. You'll hear if someone hits a bad note if someone's voice breaks. You'll hear adlibs and different harmonies put in that aren't normally there because a member doesn't think they are going to hit a note because they don't have the air left or need water.
This performance is actually in an awards show and whats so great about it is that they showcased korean cultural dances and costumes in the performance. If this is your first stage performance viewing of BTS, try searching for their other awards show performances through the years like melon music awards, mama awards... they are all AMAZING. They have a habit of turning awards shows into their own mini concert. 😊

Did no one tell you that BTS are known especially for their live performances. This wasn't a BTS concert they were performing at an awards show. You are spot on about their fitness levels, their own concerts average at two and a half hours. Yes they have powerful stage presence.
Not even a BTS concert, just an awards show. MMA is Melon Music Awards. The set piece was actually around 20 minutes, their concerts are this hype all the way through for about 3 hours! I thoroughly recommend watching the medley of Dope, Baepsae, Fire and Idol at their Love Yourself concert in Osaka. 4 very hype songs one after the other!
You should watch the MMA 2018 fake love performance... It is really good and showcases their dance sills, their stage presence and charisma really well.
BTS live performance is no joke. Unlike many artists (especially k-pop), their lives are even better than the mv, they sing live and put full energy into every single stage, so you'll never regret watching it.
That's something I've always said: how on the world do they sing and dance and dont die out of air? I'll be just in the first five minutes of that. Its way too much dance, sing, performance, art to resist and give so much in so much continued time, they dont stop to amaze me. God bless them!❤

There're many BTS concerts on youtube, on bilibli - full version permission to dance concert. But it is 3 or 4 hours long. 😊 I recommend to watch: -mma 2019 (40 min) -Busan concert in 2022. For example, Members perfom song Run BTS for the only time. - PTD concerts in USA. You can find full it on another platform. Like person who like their art, the first thing I advise people who want to know about the band is to watch their live performances and their shows - run BTS, BON VOYAGE, IN THE SOOP. Their energy is felt to the fullest there. But, first of all - live performance. It's a lot to watch, we, army know that 😅 They have song that breaks all records, we call it "Song Queen" - Spring day. In order to understand its context, you need to watch a video explaining the background of its creation. Thanks for all your video, not only about Bangtan. I always watch them with great pleasure. P.S.: Namjoon (RM) has a new album out, if you have time you can also listen to it, but you just need to find the correct translation, because it is in Korean.

IDOL won awards. you can't get idol without the history and the explanation video. I've legit never heard anyone say they didn't like Idol. It lacked creativity??? I will say it wasn't the best one to watch first. also BTS Lyrics are extremely important. Turn on the CC. That was a awards show.
Yeah, the fact that he didn't understand it shouldn't equal that it "lacks creativity". It's probably one of their most meaningful and creative MV, haha. However, he does have a habit of saying stuff without knowledge and when proven wrong he just avoids the matter or just side-steps it without actually saying that he was wrong sooo 🤷♂️

Someone should have just told you the meaning behind Idols MV, it was purposefully chaotic. To let haters know they don’t care about their opinions and that if they want to use FILTERS then they will. And there’s so much more but that’s all I can really remember at the moment. But the message is right there in the lyrics, YOU CANT STOP ME LOVING MYSELF.

They are so good they used to get accused of lipsyncing so the member would prove otherwise by suddenly stop singing remove the mic's away and stand still and all you'd here would be the music. You can hear their mic's are live as you can hear them take in quick intakes of breath to sing while still dancing. You'll hear if someone hits a bad note if someone's voice breaks. You'll hear adlibs and different harmonies put in that aren't normally there because a member doesn't think they are going to hit a note because they don't have the air left or need water.
also bts are masters of turning Awardshow performances into their own mini concerts!

This performance is actually in an awards show and whats so great about it is that they showcased korean cultural dances and costumes in the performance. If this is your first stage performance viewing of BTS, try searching for their other awards show performances through the years like melon music awards, mama awards... they are all AMAZING. They have a habit of turning awards shows into their own mini concert. 😊
Our BTS guys are amazing! This was an awards show and if you want to see one even better, watch the 2019 MMA (the whole performance). It's the best live performance ever!

Not even a BTS concert, just an awards show. MMA is Melon Music Awards. The set piece was actually around 20 minutes, their concerts are this hype all the way through for about 3 hours!
I thoroughly recommend watching the medley of Dope, Baepsae, Fire and Idol at their Love Yourself concert in Osaka. 4 very hype songs one after the other!

First bts video/music i've watch was mma 2019. From this time i started like them and wanted learn more about group. There're many BTS concerts on youtube, on bilibli - full version permission to dance concert. But it is 3 or 4 hours long. 😊
I recommend to watch:
-mma 2019 (40 min)
-Busan concert in 2022. For example, Members perfom song Run BTS for the only time.
- PTD concerts in USA. You can find full it on another platform.
Like person who like their art, the first thing I advise people who want to know about the band is to watch their live performances and their shows - run BTS, BON VOYAGE, IN THE SOOP. Their energy is felt to the fullest there. But, first of all - live performance.
