RM is a revelation. His album Indigo is a masterpiece, and that is not a word I use lightly. He's a brilliant lyricist and poet, a philosopher, and a genuinely good human. I admire him so much. His rap skills are ridiculous, and he's never had an empty bar. You will probably really enjoy his work.
@@sheilagibson982 no solo le gusta el arte, apoya económicamente proyectos artísticos y de restauración y es un gran coleccionista además de un gran hombre.
The reason why I became a fan of BTS is the depth and storytelling in their music. And RM is a critical part of that. The foundation of BTS’ lyricism and deep meaningful music.
John Eun is a long time close friend of RM's. And Docskim said in an interview he was ready to give up on music until RM recruited him to work on Indigo, and he rediscovered his passion for music working with RM 💜
RM is an art collector and recognised as an art influencer not only in korea but also the US and Europe....he has had a major impact on young people taking up art appreciation...
Bang PD once said that he couldn’t believe the lyrics that RM was writing at the age of 17. Proving that he’s always been deep and introspective. He lays his soul bare with his music, his open honesty is why so many truly love this amazing young man. ♥️💜💜💜💜💜💜
if you enter bts world through their English songs I guess it's what it looks like. but for us who already are bts fans those songs were very fun. we already had all the complex introspective tracks from bts in our playlist and we were sure we will get more with their next album, but at that time, during pandemic each and every of us was already facing dark reality so bts gifted us songs that are just... fun. it was a breather and we love those English singles very mush as it was something that got us through tough times :)
The reason musicians and artists love Indigo so much is the exquisite taste RM shows in every selection of all the people he works with. He hears a particular voice for a track then surprisingly people like Erykah Badu and Youjeen well known for turning down such offers ... work with him. Indigo is endlessly surprising and unpredictable. The diary of RMs 20s every track is a different genre. It is shockingly brave in its ambition and honesty.
Since you've started reacting to the solo work from BTS members, why not explore them all? They're wildly different artists, sometimes it's hard to believe they're in the same group. My recommendations: The other two rappers: * *Suga/Agust D* - his trilogy in this order: Daechwita - Haegeum - Amygdala ("daechwita" is a genre of Korean traditional military music played for the king, "haegeum" means liberation from the forbidden, "amygdala" is the part of the brain that processes emotions and memories, including traumas) * *J-hope* - More, Arson, Daydream The four singers: * *Jin* - Epiphany (live performance), The Astronaut, Awake * *Jimin* - Like Crazy (#1 Billboard song), Set Me Free Pt.2, Serendipity (live performance) * *V* - his 3-song set for Tiny Desk Concert, which features an amazing saxophone solo * *Jungkook* - Still With You, Stay Alive, Seven (#1 BB song)
So, I really like your reaction and respected it. To understand RM, you have to do more songs to find the lane you like. Without a doubt he is the most eclectic artist within BTS and additionally has the most content. He’s the most mature in his content. Most of BTS, not a criticism, stays in a lane specifically the vocal line, simply because they don’t create as much, they’re younger, and they aren’t the writers or producers that RM is. So, a JK, who I love, will stay in a popish lane. And that’s okay. RM does crazy amount of genres and you, like BTS, just need to understand which you like the most. There hip hop, rap RM. there’s alt RM. There’s almost a singer songwriter soul RM, a R&B RM and much more that’s all infused. His tiny desk is more singer songwriter almost R&B soul sound but that’s not his sound. It’s just a singular part of him. Seoul is so different than a tune like All Day or throw away, which is rock rap. I would encourage to check out different cuts from his solo work like Moonchild, wildflower, do you, throw away, and Joke. RM is the most artistic with more genres than anyone. JHope the next. I like his tiny desk but don’t think it actually shines his best work on specifically Indigo, which is a triumphant, or his overall work. It’s more a mood or color…. And he has a ton. Good luck.
Genius RM. He is a deep thinker. The lyrics to his songs really connect with millions of fans. I love his Indigo album. Beautifully done and so underrated.
RM is a thinker (he is literal genius), he wanted to be a poet and a novelist, before he found his true passion in rap.. And we will claim he still is a poet.
When I was in serious depression, I met BTS. And their misic helped me so much getting through that tunnel. I truly respect them as artists, as human that are worthy of emulation. There’s always deep meaning in their music. Not random love story.
I am actually pretty new army but I have had quite a similar experience. I have suffered from depression since my teenage and earlier it was my Dog who got me through some pretty dark even suicidal times but I lost her about 2 years ago and I felt like all joy and positivity had left my life completely but BTS the band their, music and each and every individual kind of got me back to life. I used to listen to them and K pop even before but over the last two years is when I really fell in love with them. They are joy and inspiration for me. They inspire me to be a better version of myself everyday and to bring my 100 percent to all my relationships and endeavours, and honestly these things were pretty difficult for me in the past but they somehow make it easy and joy ful.💜💜
I think you should listen to Wildflower by RM, Snooze by Suga and slow Dancing by V for solo songs and then for group songs Life Goes On, Butterfly, Film out, Pied Piper or Save Me. Those are my recommendations
One of the things that BTS has said is that, for them, dancing is the equivalent of playing instruments. I think you will find that their dancing. Is not typical boy band dancing.
I personally LOVE Namjoon's music in and outside of BTS. He's just an amazing artists and like you said a thinker. I would say, the second one is a masterpiece for me, each song connects to each other so well and has its own essence, and Indigo is full of different genres, that one is a masterpiece too! In Tiny Desk the artists usually experiment with their songs since they have a live band now, here it was definitely more calm but still so good. It was a vibe!
The band just flows so effortlessly with RMs tone. it’s beautiful to listen to sonically while still highlighting the lyrics and message that RM wants to deliver
Even when the members talk about their individual achievements, they always say that they shine best when they are together💜 One of the things I love most is that we have seven people with seven personalities and seven different musical tastes. Because of how different and contrasting of each of the members’ music tastes and styles are, I confidently say that’s the reason why they sound the best when they come together as one. They started as 7 and it will always be a 7 member group.
RMs albums Indigo und Mono are masterpieces. So is BTS's other music. Like plenty other, I'm gonna recommend the Introduction to BTS video. You get an overview and context and armys are gonna watch it with you no matter how often we have seen it. 😅 Good luck on your journey
RM’s live concert at Rolling Hall was better than this Tiny Desk performance IMO. He performed the songs from Indigo in front of a very small audience. That’s worth a listen. Also BTS’ 2021 Festa Room Live is great.
Closer is another master piece and No 2! Wildflower oh gosh! The whole album and his discography is just beautiful crafted over time reflecting his growth as a person and artist! thanks for giving him and the whole group a chance
The dancer that you liked so much in Black Swan is Jimin. He recently released a solo piece called Set Me Free Part 2. It not only shows a different side of Jimin, but it also shows the virtuosity of his dancing
I think that’s what’s so great about BTS as a group and as individuals. As a group, they blend together so well and so naturally that you can’t really look for anything more. Whereas as individuals, it’s a unique flavor that kinda feels fragmented once you’ve gotten a taste of the whole. Not to say that there’s anything missing or lacking? But it’s a piece of the whole pie so seeing it separate is a different experience. It still continues to astound me how 7 unique individuals with varying sounds and interests work so well as one group. I’ve never felt that connection or wholeness with any other group
I think you should listen to the main song off this album Wildflower which has an amazing video. The album is meant to be listened to chronologically and really builds. My personal favorite is Closer, which has a video but it’s for a movie, still worth the watch. Ty💜
I recommend V from BTS Tiny desk korea he just did for his solo album layover. I recommend RM Wildflower mv it's the title track off his album as well. I love them all in their solo work as well as a group. They get to express their own colors outside of BTS. RM has so many good songs in his 2 mix tapes and solo album.
@@aprilforgue by recommending V first over RMs work , you “fans” always do that , when you know the dude want meaningful stuff , you always put ML solo music over rapline like bro can’t give it to the rapline specially RM his audience.

Namjoon’s (RM) solo albums are close to my heart. They give me peace and comfort. You have to listen to both Mono and Indigo and listen to his first album that’s full of his frustration as an artist. RM’s world play is out of this world. You need to check translation to understand.
V has a tiny desk concert too...his music is a beautiful jazzy vibe. BTS refers to their musical tastes as their "colors" and they are all different! RM is a beautiful old soul and yes, he's a thinker... IQ of 148!!!
So glad that you didn't cut of tiny desk and give us whole thing🎉 Enjoyed watching with you. Please react to *Tiny desk with all members* ❤ and *Room Festa* where they also sang some of their songs❤ P.S.do not cut reactions please🙌give us whole thing like here😌
Between all bts member Namjoon is my favorite, he's mature, smart, talented, his songs, covers, collaborations are so good, you can see his growth in them. So freaking talented for this fandom
Lol if you go from this to his more aggressive songs like Do You and Joke, you'll be like "is this even the same person??" BTS does have mellow songs like this btw. If you want jazzy/bluesy vibes, check out Rain, 134340, House of Cards. You need to venture out of just title tracks
His Indigo Album is quite layed back compared with the BTS Cyphers and his Track Persona where he spit's hard bars. I really enjoy all his different styles and I love how I never know what I'm going to get from RM the first time I hear something new from him. It's want keeps me waiting for the next thing from him. I've not come across anything I've not like from him.
Rm is the leader of the group bts he's sp caring and like father figure to these guys especially towards jungkook but he cares so much for the other members and when theu come back In 2025 I'm so gunna grab concert tickets to see these 7 Legends
Indigo album is a masterpiece. So are their incredible solo albums Face from Jimin, Jack in the Box from Jhope, D Day from Agust D aka Suga, Golden from Jungkook is coming next month, Layover from V (this one is so jazzy and R&B).😊
john eun (the guitar player on the right) and docskim (keyboard) are good friends of rm and have worked with him and bts multiple times over the years, docskim said that he was almost ready to give up on music until rm invited him to work with him again, it inspired him to the point that he has released solo music now, john eun’s solo work is good too, rm did background vocals for his song hope
Please be consistent i really like your reactions and i really want BTS to grow on you😭 A tip: please react to BTS as a whole and when you think you know what they doing then go to their solo stuff♡
BTS has many colors bc they have 7 very talented artists, who have different visions for their music. They all say they are at their best when they are together (can't wait for 2025 army 💜) To get a little taste from each of them I recommend Awake - Jin D-Day - Suga (Agust D when he's a solo artist) More - J-Hope Set me free pt.2 - Jimin Slow dancing - V Seven - Jungkook Some other suggestions for RM Joke (for his more aggresive and fast rap) 4 o'clock with V (for his beautiful vocals) Wildflower (with Youjeen) (for his more instrospective poetic rap) All day (with Tablo) (for his more socially critical rap) And if you LOVED the instrumentals on this performance, trust me when I say you'll LOSE YOUR MIND at V's Tiny Desk Concert for his solo album Layover, he sang 3 of his 5 new songs: Love me again, Slow dancing and For us. AND ALSO his band session (with roughly the same crew) for just Slow Dancing where he plays the sax as bonus at the end (not part of the song, but it was cool seeing him show off his own skills with the instrument hehe)
I been watching a lot of BTS stuff and their music but I keep putting off listening to RM's solo album because rap is not my thing, although what draw me to their music first is Mic Drop. I have listened to some of his songs in his mixtapes like Joke because I've been intrigued by the lyrics but not his first official solo music. I'm glad I watched this reaction video and got to hear his songs. 💜💜💜
I don't think this Tiny Desk performance gave a very good representation of either his Indigo album or his Mono mixtape. You should really check out the MVs from both (don't forget the captions!). My personal favorite was Wildflower, but Forever Rain and Moonchild both suit a more somber mood. The MVs for Still Life and Seoul also have much different flavors than what's presented at Tiny Desk. I'd also recommend his MV Change, with Wale, which is a softer, more melodic rap than Joke or Persona. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, or at least more than you expect, lol💜
They are not one of the biggest bands they are the biggest band NOT ONLY IN KPOP THEY ARE TRUE ARTISTS better than Beatles and all these American bands who doesn't even write their own lyric they just have money and big companies but if you know the story about Bts how they started in little poor company and are absolutely legends - best performers since Michael Jakson and one of best artists of all time : writing their own songs, producing, dancing, singing amazing, rapping amazing, amazing people, so much music THEY ABSOLUTELY DESERVE EVERYTHING GOOD ❤
Love that you're into RM. I got into BTS about a year ago by watching their silly game show called Run BTS! and slowly got into the songs. My favorite quickly became RM, cause he was so genuine in how he spoke and tried to explain his thoughts in as much depth as possible. Great voice, amazing at writing lyrics (and has one of the largest list of credits for song writing in Kpop), cares about fans and speaks directly to them in Korean and in English. Lots of things are great about him.
Thanks for the reaction. RM is an incredible artist and song writer. BTS did a Tiny Desk performance as a group during Covid, which is great. They did Dynamite, which I know you didn't love, but there were other songs, and I think seeing them interacting together live is important. Similarly, the 2021 Festa Room live gives snippets of maybe 7 songs and a good look at their group dynamic. As mentioned, V did a wonderful Tiny Desk concert for his recently released album. All 7 BTS members have solo work; there is a ton of content if you want it.
Indigo is a piece of art from start to finish. RM is a poet. 💜 The great thing about the guys is that they all have their own flavour and yet work like magic together. Recommending SUGA (Agust D) next with his album D-Day next if you are continuing with solos. Haegeum or Amygdala MV. My other favourite is D-Day but it doesn't have an MV. 💜
When I got into BTS I realized how much I had missed of Asian music. Eye opening! RM is a poet and he wrote so many good songs for BTS and solo projects. I love the vibes of Indigo, but his last solo project, RPWP is so experimental and fun. I don't love all the songs but it's as if he is opening my mind and heart to something very different and I love that about him. 💜
RM has many great songs. Do You is one of my favorites. A lot of what makes BTS great is what the lyrics are, what is said/sung/rapped. RM is a poet. My opinion, of course. Suga/AgustD is also a musical genius. One of my favorites of his recent offerings is Snooze.
If youre interested in one of his solo songs where he goes harder i recommend listening to "Joke" by RM. Its another side of his versatility. Its definitely a more hard, gritty hiphop song. Love the reaction cant wait to see more.
My ult-ult-ultimate bias (favorite) among the seven. I love BTS with extra percent for the leader RM, cutie, with an IQ of 148 and a pair of deep dimples.
I feel like there are only 2-3 BTS members who's solo music sounds anything like what you would expect. Can't wait for J-Hope to blow your mind with More and Arson. 10/10 recommend watching him live at Lolapalooza, his performance there was absolutely insane, the best live performance of his songs, the live band was seriously good there too.
Well, there are plenty of RM songs to listen to; at last count, he had 217 composing and song-writing credits at the Korean Music Copyright Association (not necessarily the sole composer or lyricist on every song; he usually collaborates with others). His wordplay is unbelievable, like in ON, where his simple phrase "awkwardly I flow" has two or possibly three simultaneous meanings. Or Ddaeng, where RM uses all seven meanings of the word in one song.
BTS doesn't only do hype songs. A huge amount of their discography are the complete opposite...that's how versatile they are. I would recommend Room Live Festa 2021 to hear them go through a medley of their songs. Oh, and if you hear a lot of korean singers lives, you'd be so impressed by their bands! IU's (korean singer) band is amazingggg for example.
loved this reaction!! you should definitely check out their BTS Room Live from festa 2021, it gives a great view of how diverse their sound is and how much they’ve evolved since their debut 🔥
15:39 As a student, RM had an IQ of 148 and scored in the top 1% of the whole Nation in the university entrance examinations for Language, Math, Foreign language and Social studies & that was years ago I’m sure now that he’s grown more his IQ has gone up by more points & he’s probably somewhere in the 50’s Now. Yes he is a Thinker indeed a very intellectual man. As for my recommendations I suggest “Joke” & “Do You” by RM

Just a little correction the song is called Wild Flower, not Flower Works.
More - J-HOPE 💜
I recommend V from BTS Tiny desk korea he just did for his solo album layover. I recommend RM Wildflower mv it's the title track off his album as well. I love them all in their solo work as well as a group. They get to express their own colors outside of BTS. RM has so many good songs in his 2 mix tapes and solo album.
V songs lyrics don’t compare to RMs , don’t disrespect the goat like that.
@@mev9752 where exactly did I compare either of them?
@@aprilforgue by recommending V first over RMs work , you “fans” always do that , when you know the dude want meaningful stuff , you always put ML solo music over rapline like bro can’t give it to the rapline specially RM his audience.
@mev9752 He doesn't care about the lyrics he was only commenting on the band, which is why I recommend the other tiny desk since it was a live band.
@@mev9752 he literally just reacted to rms work i think it’s understandable for him to check out other members as well and he barely even mentioned lyrics this entire video 😭 the band in taehyungs tiny desk is absolutely amazing i think its a perfect recommendation u look like a loser throwing a fit over it lmao
Please react to
*Tiny desk with all members* ❤ and *Room Festa* where they also sang some of their songs❤
P.S.do not cut reactions please🙌give us whole thing like here😌
Between all bts member Namjoon is my favorite, he's mature, smart, talented, his songs, covers, collaborations are so good, you can see his growth in them. So freaking talented for this fandom
Lol if you go from this to his more aggressive songs like Do You and Joke, you'll be like "is this even the same person??"
BTS does have mellow songs like this btw. If you want jazzy/bluesy vibes, check out Rain, 134340, House of Cards. You need to venture out of just title tracks
RM is so deep and beautifully poetic. Love that side of him 🎉❤
Wait I loved bts years ago and love RM´s song „Seoul“. I didn’t know this „concert“ existed until now, thank you for introducing it to me 🥰🥺
His Indigo Album is quite layed back compared with the BTS Cyphers and his Track Persona where he spit's hard bars. I really enjoy all his different styles and I love how I never know what I'm going to get from RM the first time I hear something new from him. It's want keeps me waiting for the next thing from him. I've not come across anything I've not like from him.
RM has the real beauty of a man
Rm is the leader of the group bts he's sp caring and like father figure to these guys especially towards jungkook but he cares so much for the other members and when theu come back In 2025 I'm so gunna grab concert tickets to see these 7 Legends
RM also my bias on BTS. I love his deep voice. Please check out his solo titled Joke. Its amazing!
Please be consistent i really like your reactions and i really want BTS to grow on you😭
A tip: please react to BTS as a whole and when you think you know what they doing then go to their solo stuff♡
He is a poet
BTS has many colors bc they have 7 very talented artists, who have different visions for their music. They all say they are at their best when they are together (can't wait for 2025 army 💜)
To get a little taste from each of them I recommend
Awake - Jin
D-Day - Suga (Agust D when he's a solo artist)
More - J-Hope
Set me free pt.2 - Jimin
Slow dancing - V
Seven - Jungkook
Some other suggestions for RM
Joke (for his more aggresive and fast rap)
4 o'clock with V (for his beautiful vocals)
Wildflower (with Youjeen) (for his more instrospective poetic rap)
All day (with Tablo) (for his more socially critical rap)
And if you LOVED the instrumentals on this performance, trust me when I say you'll LOSE YOUR MIND at V's Tiny Desk Concert for his solo album Layover, he sang 3 of his 5 new songs: Love me again, Slow dancing and For us. AND ALSO his band session (with roughly the same crew) for just Slow Dancing where he plays the sax as bonus at the end (not part of the song, but it was cool seeing him show off his own skills with the instrument hehe)
What Secretidentity said above! 💜 Absolutely!
💜💜💜
You should check out Mono and Indigo because neither one is heavy rap. They are filled with amazing music.
Check out RM's live Rollinh Hall concert which features Indigo album songs, with live collaborators, also Sexy Nukim with Balming Tiger.
Тhe leader's songs are a masterpiece😊
RM is not only a great and intelligent artist but also a wonderful leader. He has all my respect 💜👏🏻🙌🏻 Huge congratulations for your solo career!
On BTS LIVE MTV FIX YOU. what is surprising is how beautifully RM and the Rap line harmonise beautifully
I am soo soo happy that you listened to Namjoon talking about his music
RM was pullin water bottles out of his goddamn inventory
actually if you watch the mg for still life, RM actually used a train to describe the concept of still life, but i am moving.
I’m glad you now appreciate RM, because he is a genius and a wonderful human being.
You get a like from me 😊
RM IS THE BACKBONE OF BTS
Rm is a man who is sincere, falls easily, and has an IQ of over 150.I'm a person who delivers touching comments and can feel his sincerity.
Everyone here will recommend RM’s mixtape “Mono” from which Seoul is the highlight. It’s THE PERFECT rainy day vibe! Please take it into your SOUL.
SO glad you checked out rm! Would love more deep dives into his disocgraphy and other bts' and bts member's discography
Love Rm hes just amazing im OT7 tho i love all bts members but i like them all them individually also.
My ult-ult-ultimate bias (favorite) among the seven. I love BTS with extra percent for the leader RM, cutie, with an IQ of 148 and a pair of deep dimples.
His recent album RPWP is AWESOME! You will love it!
you absolutely gotta listen to "wild flower" like absolutely
I feel like there are only 2-3 BTS members who's solo music sounds anything like what you would expect. Can't wait for J-Hope to blow your mind with More and Arson. 10/10 recommend watching him live at Lolapalooza, his performance there was absolutely insane, the best live performance of his songs, the live band was seriously good there too.
His voice still gets me and his brain…. Wow
we had behind the scenes of RM around this time and he was preparing a lotttt with his band for this performance. I watch this a lot. I love Indigo
RM is known for his poetic lyrics and world play, double meanings, and multiple meanings. Just expressing his creative self.
I can't believe there's an RM video I haven't seen..
Beause lsaac is amazing. The video content is great. Thank you❤
RM is the leader of BTS. He is a poet, lyricist with deep love for art. We just love him
Love RM soooooo much...he is the best🎉💜💜💜💜💜
BTS doesn't only do hype songs. A huge amount of their discography are the complete opposite...that's how versatile they are. I would recommend Room Live Festa 2021 to hear them go through a medley of their songs.
Oh, and if you hear a lot of korean singers lives, you'd be so impressed by their bands! IU's (korean singer) band is amazingggg for example.
I love RM's song, Moon Child ❤
loved this reaction!! you should definitely check out their BTS Room Live from festa 2021, it gives a great view of how diverse their sound is and how much they’ve evolved since their debut 🔥
Thank You for giving BTS a chance .Much Appreciated😇
RM= RAP MONSTER. UNDERGROUND RAPPER SINCE YOUNG
RM is so precious and a genius😊
15:39 As a student, RM had an IQ of 148 and scored in the top 1% of the whole Nation in the university entrance examinations for Language, Math, Foreign language and Social studies & that was years ago I’m sure now that he’s grown more his IQ has gone up by more points & he’s probably somewhere in the 50’s Now. Yes he is a Thinker indeed a very intellectual man. As for my recommendations I suggest “Joke” & “Do You” by RM
This is my favorite album it’s so beautiful and catchy
