So, I am the guy who sent in the campaign and I'd like to say a few things. First of all, really glad this video is doing great, glad to be able to provide good content. Secondly, my full carnosaur army was actually able to beat multiple Dwarven stacks. I found that putting them all on one enemy unit throws all the enemy soldiers down and the carnosaurs dont take that much damage. Eventually I lost my skink priest though and it all went downhill from there. But I still beat 5 full stacks, then I got surrounded. Also I couldn't recruit Engine of the gods because I don't have the dlc, I think... Dwarves came in so fast and hard I didn't even have time to recruit new units better suited for fighting the dwarves or Kroak or anything like that. Great vid as always Legend, keep up the cheese.
Yeah you could do the same strat as the stegadons + healing with carnosaurs instead, but it isn't quite as effective as stegadons can take out the really high damage targets before they get close, also carnosaurs can go berzerk and get themselves killed

well, generally speaking, kislev is closer to the waves of chaos. although, one time, palying as the high elves, i have seen the empire in a pretty bad war with the chaos legions. for every victory that the empire gained, they suffered a defeat. it was a good sight.

I always have the opposite of what Legend kept saying about the “good guy” factions. Dwarves are always wiped out by Orks, Kislev is wipes out by Chaos and/or Skaven, Dark Elves and High Elves are 50/50 for who survives and the Empire is usually a wreck by the time I find them. I thought the same in the past, now I'm prioritizing battles, as campaigns can start to become boring the soon you notice you're doing a repetitive path.
@@victuz If something is repetitive, it's battles, especially on Legendary difficulty. Due to the fact that meele units sucks and ranged units are king on Legendary, you tend to use the same (best) unit composition over and over , thus also the same strategy, and this will lead to repetitive and predictable battles. And even if you now play as a faction with bad ranged units and focus on monsters instead, the same principle still applies. The battles will still be repetitive. Compare this to the campaign map, in which different things happens literally every (end) turn. Hell, even if you play very passively/defensively (which I personally never do, UNLESS it's absolutely necessary) the end turns can potentially offer a vide variety of events: Events which are all unpredictable. Battles are in NO way unpredictable in the same way, mainly due to the fact that a big portions of your battles will be you vs a certain race over and over (Skaven as the Lizardmen, Empire and Norscas as Chaos, Dwarves as Greenskins and so forth), which means you'll more or less fight the same units, in MANY of your battles.
The campaign has swung wildly over the last few patches. Early on in ME it was the Dwarf tide all the time. Then they overcompensated and it was the Greenskins conquering all the mountains. Now it's swung back again towards the Dwarfs.
well, its gonna be same battle as this again and again and again until he defeat dwarf stacks on his territory. and a lot more of same battles to claim all of dwarf land (+siege battles, which is not that intreresting too)
@Osman Nuri Güzel I disagree, if you keep winning without loosing too much, then rewards from those wins will fuel your offensive, and then in like 30 turns your empire will be rolling over dwarves.

Currently in a similar situation in a Clan Mors playthrough but not nearly as dire as this yet. dark elves ai should be able to beat the dawi. but as legend said, the evil factions always loses. the de always loses to the he before the old world factions start to show up.
See, I have a very different experience with the AI on harder difficulty settings. The Dwarfs virtually never do anything. They either stay on the Silver Road and never progress, or get wiped out. I play with no mods. Hundreds of campaigns and I have never had the big blue monster that other people seem to experience.
I'm playing Last Defenders at the moment and the Greenskins went nuts. By the time I waded through their settlements all the way to the Silver Road, the dwarves and Imrik were extinct, and the Greenskins, Sylvania and Mousillon were busy raping the Empire. I allied myself with the Empire and the Wood Elves, and I'm busy trying to save Reikland from disappearing.
Playing as anything unfriendly towards the dwarves, I would always march straight to their nearest hold and wipe them by turn 25 at the latest. Usually just removing a couple confederation targets for them is enough to keep them in check for the rest of the game. Then, it's usually the empire who claims half the map by turn 100. Lol
Is there a good strategy for taking out the Empire as the vampire counts? Like i get rid of zhurufbar to Not get fucked by dwarfs but by the Time i get close to altdorf they have confederated everything south and west and i am forced to expand east, basically to the doorstep of chaos. I played every tw game since shogun 2 but im fairly new to Warhammer and i want to avoid cheese. Like i dont play on legendary nur getting fucked Everytime as the vampire Counts suuuucks.
I use a mod that doesn’t allow the ai to confederate (except greenskins and Norsca) and it prevents the stuntytide from happening, thought Karaz-a-Karak is usually still stupid powerful. Also prevents the ai from sniping confederations out from under you since they cheat. Half the time one of the Vampire Counts ends up being OP instead though. To the point that in my Wulfrik campaign the empire and Brettonia love me despite occupying Altdorf and Courroune because I’ve been slapping Manfred around so much. Like, +200 rep with most of them.
So, I am the guy who sent in the campaign and I'd like to say a few things.

The dwarfs only get to top 1 spot on my campaigns after I deal with the High Elves.
dark elves ai should be able to beat the dawi. but as legend said, the evil factions always loses. the de always loses to the he before the old world factions start to show up.
In the world of Warhammer, it's cheese or be cheesed.
Id like to see a part 2 to this one please, preferably not in a live steam.
We need a medieval 2 exodus disaster campaign, where the dude right at the beginning goes to the opposite map side with all forces...
The first saurus is called ratte-plet'ten which is ratten pletten which means squashing rats.
Thanks for the raid I went to get coffee and came back 2 chat spamming beeps boop XD
COME ON AND SLANN!
INTERPENETRATE THE PLAN!
COME ON AND SLANN!
THE DWARVES WE'RE GONNA SLAM!
All of that build up for one battle
32:49 High sanity loss
This was awesome, definitely would be really entertaining to watch another one
I should add that i can play most other factions, i dunno, maybe i just missjudge how to play the vampires
