The moment you drew the background out around the face and hair with the final portrait was a revelation! really showed that proper form stands by itself, the painting came alive.
That last painting was actually so stunning I can hardly believe that you could make this in this game. I hope you continue this series, it’s very entertaining.
As a longtime fan of Draw With Jazza, and a recent fan of you, I cannot express how much joy and nostalgia this brings me haha. Thank you for playing this, Jake
The game is pronounced “pass par too” - it translates to “pass everywhere” like a master key. I love your videos btw, I’ve watched every single one and I’ve learned so much from you!
Greetings, Passe-partout is also the alias name of a character in the play ‘Zone’ by Marcel Dubé, a French-Canadian playwright, perhaps this is a partial reason for the name of the game? My reasoning for thinking this could be an allusion to ‘Zone’ is because in the play, Passe-Partout joined the gang the book is about to feed his mother, which goes with the starving sanction of ‘starving artist’. Bonne journée mes nouveaux amis! ^^ -A bilingual Canadian that was made to study Zone in tenth grade
Your art is so stunning even with the restrictions of the brush size and lack of colors. It must have taken a long time and so much practice to be as wonderful at art as you are now. The understanding of light and contrast and all the fundamentals to painting you show is astounding. I hope one day I can be as brilliant as you. (God I probably sound like a crazy person. I swear Im not)
We *need* a part two jake, this was so entertaining to watch. I tried PPO 1 out when it was on sale but rage quit after i got to emotinally invested in the customers and their lack of knowlege in art. I would love to see you paint either Woman with a Parasol by Claude Monet or The Girl With The Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer next time!
To be far it’s hard not to get a liiiiiiiittle annoyed when you spend like 10 mins on a paintings and Cinthya’s stupid coding comes by and says “yOu DidNt MaKe ArT”
Loving this new content turn, testing out these drawing games and taking it way to seriously WHILE making it educational is a genre i enjoy so much, keep it up!
Its one of the really cool things. When you spend enough time understanding art. You can do an incredible amount with even a limited toolset. I'm hoping to get that kind of understanding one day.
I started drawing several years ago and improved a lot, until things in life got in the way and I just didnt have time for it. For some reason, this video inspired me to pick it up again. Thank you!
I absolutely love how jake explains what his painting. Its so easy to understand and not overwhelming i can follow where its going and seeing how good it turned out. Jake kinda reminds me of bob ross
I saw the second video before the first, so the epic montage of you making that beautiful portrait hit even better knowing you were bankrupting your studio.😂
MAKE THIS A SERIES PLEASEEEEEEEE, watching your usual drawing comes together is already so satisfying but doing it in Passpartout makes it much more entertaining and fun!
I've had this game on my wishlist ever since Jazza played it, and now I'm thinking I should get it. Also, subscribed. Thank you for suffering for our enjoyment.
Seeing you make such masterpieces with such limited tools is inspiring. It always looks so weird at the start, but comes together with your vision as you add the details- it shows me that I need to trust my own process and not be so harsh on myself when a drawing is still coming together.
Love the videos where you go on art games and make art pieces out of simple shapes and limited tools. Would love to see a part 2! Your videos help inspire me to continue my art journey and I end up learning more from you than a class lol😅
You are so genius. I love how you're able to apply the fundamentals of art even in scenarios like this and make masterpieces out of simplistic shapes and a limited pallette. You truly understand form, light, and how to focus less on the details, but more on an image as a whole; letting the viewer fill in the missing pieces themselves. Truly outstanding work! Love your channel, love the humor. it's inspiring me to make content of my own, keep going and im sure youll amass a huge following.
Please keep posting! I really enjoy watching you play video games and incorporating your incredible art skills into each one. Your explanations are very helpful, as I can apply them to my own art. Thank you and keep it up 🤗
I'm so glad I found your channel, you're amazing at art, especially at explaining it, and you're super funny dude 😎👍 thank you for inspiring me to paint again! Also I can't get enough of you playing these art games lol
I loved this so much!! you have such a nice chill vibe, this video was really wonderful and cozy :) I would love to see you continue to play this game!
Would love to see a similar challenge done with the animal jam masterpiece creator!! (basically just a simplified art program in a kids game but people make some really cool stuff using it and they can be turned into in-game items)
If I had a nickel for every time an art TH-camr played this game and drew paintings specifically of Benjamin I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
They tried to take everything from me WATCH PART 2 ➡ th-cam.com/video/h4HjHi3ws5c/w-d-xo.html

That actually goes so hard

When he started painting Benjamin I got flashbacks from when jazza painted Benjamin a lot
Ikr. Though to be fair this game in general reminds me of Jazza.
