Received my W702B today! Mount it on the original BMW bracket, everything worked perfect thanks to your tips and advices. The only concern I have is that it vibrates on the road and with the motorcycle engine. Any recommendations to improve this?
Mine does too on the GSA at certain revs, but on the move it seems fine and it doesn't seem to have done any harm to the unit. The reason it does this is because of how far iit sticks out on the mount.
Great video !!! I’ve got a F850gsa with nav6 and I’m super tempted to get one of these but they don’t list my bike as supported. You would think this work with any BMW that has the nav5/6 bracket. Or am I missing something ? :)
There is a better unit available from Ricoel now. It will fit as long as there is space around the mount that will allow it to 'stick out' like on my GSA. Check out the video here: th-cam.com/video/QAhRK_QbOe0/w-d-xo.html and if the 7 inch looks like it won't fit - check out the C5 unit from Ricoel.
With the Nav bracket in the normal position, yes it does cut off the tacho. You can however, loosen the Nav bracket and adjust it up a bit and it will cut off less. Of course, it also depends on your height and seating angle, etc. Personally, it does cut off a small part for me when I am riding. If it bothers you, you can always get the 5 or 6 inch display.

Yep, that's what happened to me and now out of warranty for the NAV VI.

No, that doesn't work with it.
Do you see the tacho complete or is the range between 4 and 7 krpm hidden bij de carpuride?
