Thank you for this! Especially because people do not take seriously how horribly some jobs can affect your mental health and how it gets in the way from even having the energy to apply for another job. They put their fears on you and tell you that you must stay until have another job lined up.
I’m so sorry if anyone has ever done that to you:( I think those who truly care about you more so do it from a place of encouragement to have another job lined up, because that old but semi accurate adage of “it’s easier to find a job when you have a job” weirdly seems to be true. And it’s (generally) less stressful than being unemployed. I agree that if your current job is toxic, it really can take a toll and affect your mental health (it did for me) and make finding a new job feel daunting or impossible but I think the key here (and what I have had to learn the hard way unfortunately) is not to _wait_ and _hope_ that things get better at your current job: the second something happens that makes you question staying is your cue to get. out. Go home and start searching jobs *immediately.* Don’t “wait and see” and don’t try to find ways to make yourself more comfortable. Keep your resume updated and be ready to send it out at all times. Because the longer you stay and take the awful treatment, the more beat down you end up feeling on top of now having to update or create a resume, interview, etc. I think we tend to be too hopeful and don’t recognize our own warning signs that say “um, it’s time to go” until it’s too late. If it’s people who care about you, they’re likely not trying to heap their fear on you, but to encourage you. Prayers to all who are going through this❤

Why so many youtubers are putting up these so-called "quit your job with no plans or backup plan. I think this is a bad idea. The economy could change on a dime, you need to have an exit plan, most jobs now need 2-5 years experience even if its entry level job, which I don't get. If its a toxic workplace, which I am at and terrible managers, then yes its time to go, start planning now and apply to another job that you know you can do, than later make another plan as to what you really know and be interested in, evermind the so call "dream jobs" they don't exists. If your valuable in a certain sector or market then learn or get more skills in that area, master it. Below in the comments, someone has said they had 6 months rent money or savings that's a good tip. Always keep learning, there's so many online courses or program that you take on your own time.

I was drawn to your outfit in the thumbnail so gorgeous ♡
Koko - that intro captured my attention! Well done on your decision. I just quit as well. Best decision! 😁🍀⭐
Thank youu! 😊
God knows how many of these videos i have watched 🥺
I don't like my job at all. The thought of going there makes my tummy sick
Thanks for reminding us to have $$ saved so we have a cushion. That's important.
That’s what I don’t understand why are we so scared we are the prize we were trading assets …our time is more valuable then their money you owe you
This is a really coherent and methodological way to think about decision making in general
You go girl 💚🤍🎉
Go Koko!!!😊
AH IM SO GLAD I CAME ACROSS THIS VIDEO
Quit my job of 11 years and finish tomorrow - such a toxic work place so much so it was destroying my mental health. I would cry in the car on the way to work so one day after receiving an email running me down by accident on top of a whole lot of other stuff the day before I quit with no plan. I am nervous but I know I will be better off but at the moment it’s a scary place
Congratulations for walking away! It’s definitely scary walking away from a job without a plan but I’m sure you’ll look back and be happy you did. Goodluck with everything x
You sound far away on the audio. Please come closer or make the adjustments so we can hear you sharper please?

Girl!!! I’m working on it
@@kokoademosu8912 it’s hard 😭 I know. I have 3 long forms I’m editing from weeks ago I have no time.
It be these i quit my job but still and always have lived better than the average person always making these kinds of videos.
Lol ur funny. appreciate the honesty. Great style
Thank you! 😊

Thank you 💕
I cannot hear you
Yes! Because God be knowing these haters be trying us!!! Lol
I am considering
Soooo many black women have the same story.
This is what I’m also noticing!!! Btw I’m a black woman too and it’s starting to look systematic
❤️❤️❤️
I just rejected a job offer as a Juniour in a male dominated team and i feel bad even though i know it would have messed up with my mental health🥹 i feel like i failed my family cause I’ve been unemployed for a year now…
Your mental health is a gift, protect it at all cost! You will find a job, I’m sure of it, just keep pushing and find ways to enjoy your free time now x
Yo if you want to quit, quit. Why make a TH-cam video saying you’re quitting your job lol
Maybe to help someone out, give them courage you know
I’m glad I work for a company that values and respects its employees. It isn’t a perfect company but fortunately there are a lot more upsides than downsides or negatives 🎞 which makes me very happy and blessed 🥲 to work there. In any case I can relate to your video and your predicament since I have experience working for toxic companies in my earlier years.
Did she just greet her audience “hey kids”? Skip video
Lool fair enough
That was off-putting
