I believe in the comics there is a moment where robocop is asked why he is never seen doing paperwork, and it is explained by one of his OCP techs that his link to OCP's central computer system automatically files all the necessary paperwork, including requests for warrants, electronically.

I’m about 10 hours into this game and I don’t think I’ve had a more genuinely fun gaming experience in a long time. You can see all the fan service and care that went into it.

I would also like to point out that the game's demo is huge. It is the tutorial mission and the entire first free-roam area up to the point of rescuing the informant. Easily three to five hours of gameplay. If you're not sure this game is for you from Jon's little snippet here, go get the demo! Play through yourself, go different directions and different places and find different side missions.

Well, I just checked to confirm that these devs did Terminator Resistance.. well they did but have done a ton of on rails arcade shooters including the 2014 Rambo...good that they got past that one
This Game has been the biggest surprise for me this Year. I expected some "meh" average movie game but it's actually EXACTLY what a Robocop Game should be. It even has the corny 1980s Dialogues, Voice Acting etc. It's fantastic and i recommend, especially if you grew up with Robo Cop being this new awesome Movie Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
Apparently this is being "carried by nostalgia" or whatever but I didn't even know what a RoboCop was before playing the demo and thoroughly enjoyed it lol.
It has some performance issues on certain machines, and a lot of idiots are whining that it doesn't play the same way that COD or Battlefield does. The game was developed in a certain direction, and it flipping nailed it.

Oh absolutely check out the first movie. It is genuinely a classic. If you like it, then check out the second, it's nowhere near as good, but still a fun movie. But the first movie is a must watch.
Watch the third with some friends you can mock it with, it is the most 90s film you will ever watch and if you don't take it at all seriously you will have a blast!

Jon doesn’t have a suck-y memory; in fact, I think the complete opposite. FAB MUSICIAN - doesn’t ever ask anyone to repeat themselves, remembers memories going back to two years old. Friends mean a lot to him - very loyal. Perception is +1, -1 in a moment one day. She’s also kind and sweet - went to dance with Marissa, smashes her hearts. Marissa means a lot to him

My initial reaction on the notification was 'oh god, what? A movie tie-in like 40 years later, that sounds like the worst idea for a cash grab.' ... Yeah, halfway through the video it's obvious, this isn't just a cash grab. It actually looks pretty tempting 👀
It's the ones that come out soon after that tend to lack the time and care in their creation. But this studio has been known to make some bad shit, too. So it's definitely nice to see.
The nice thing about robocop is that he's actually a lot less violent than American police, he also has more emotion and probably doesn't abuse his wife.

I love how the HUD bounces slightly whenever you take steps it really adds to that feeling of a clunky heavy immovable force Edit: Okay it's also pretty great how when you breach any door it just goes into slow motion mode even if there's no enemy behind it. I will never say no to cool slow motion
Love how Jon doesn't even raise an eyebrow at the punk with a stereo potentially having threatened arson and then *admitting* to theft, and how he thinks destruction of property (and probably also evidence) is "a nice middle ground". Cop of the year right there.
Bethesda tried dynamic cutscenes in fallout 4, people complained about it so much they went back to talking heads. This is a rare situation here I'm on the big corpo's side, no one seems to be able to agree on what they want.

Ironically, Robocop is mostly also a shooting gallery with bad animation and voice acting, like Rambo (although with better graphics of course), but they've now found an 80's franchise that plays well to their constraints: Robocop's walk speed lets them design levels as if they were on rails, but it doesn't feel so cheap anymore and they can pad the shooting with even more walking around.
This seems like a game that would have came out about 10 years ago, back when we had these absolutely blasts of single player offline games. Really takes me back to playing Batman Arkham City and the like

Well i can't believe that in this game the iron sights are more realistic than there are in the new Call of Duty which is a "simulation" of war and weapons(despite that has amazing graphics) haha
Pro Tip: They turned Scene 27 into a game mechanic. When you start running into armored enemies with helmets, aim for the nuts. It's a one shot kill in most cases, and far more effective than aiming for the head or center of mass.
I always found the first movie tragic and sad, then you get the hyper violence of the other movies, always felt odd to me the shift. I cried too the first movie, outa all of them.
They were all hyperviolent, it's just the Robocop 2 was post-Murphy's character development. There was less to focus on, aside ultra violence. 3 didn't happen. I refuse to believe it was anything but a bad dream.
This game looks pretty good. I will say though that it feels odd that as Jon said, the whole thing about it is that it was hilariously hyperviolent, like so much so that there was only a third of a man left of the guy before he got rebuilt as robocop. And yet despite that, the bodies of the people you kill remain 100% intact
It's like the original movie in another way: behind the over-the-top violence is surprising depth. Probably not a game I'd really play, but colour me intrigued....

That is probably the best looking assault rifle I've ever seen. All the guns feel heavy but that one in paticularly really feels like it's truely 7.62
Considering its name is Assault Rifle 74, as opposed to 47, it might instead be 5.45, like the AK-74.

The thing that drove me to the comments, was to say that it's weird they are using a green screen in the sunblock ad. In the 80's, they would have used a blue screen.

A blue screen wouldn't have worked because the product is blue.
Thought the sunblock looked more green.. But i have low blue reading more on my screen, and it was highlighted in roboscan a lot
