Emily, thank you for sharing the Lord’s work. Don’t be afraid to give him glory. It’s a testament to you and the Lord. I love your videos and appreciate so much your sharing your talent with us. ❤
I agree ! I know it's really hard to know if, how and when, when we not only don't want to unnecessarily alienate strangers or give Christians a bad name. We empathize with the idea that it can be or seem inappropriate to be personal in any way or share "religious" things, in areas of our life in which the average "non-religous" person views as "not the place and time" for it... We can see that, agree to an extent with some of it... yet we ARE called to share the glorious truth of the gospel. We ARE allowed to be ourselves, and honest ! We shouldn't let ourselves be shamed or bullied into speaking in ways which are not consistent with who we really are, even while being polite and sensitive to others. All that to say : This is your channel. It's not like your showing up on others channels and telling them they ought to be thanking the Lord ! You're sharing YOUR life here - this isn't a business-only, technical instruction video ! It involves your personal life, tastes, beliefs and feelings in other respects, if anyone thinks we ought to draw the line at our Lord, it's only because to them, He's not real - or isn't knowable- and so we seem to being going from reality to fiction, superstition or etc. . Understandable for them, but we know that's not true and so we need to hold our head up and not be ashamed of the truth ! Something I'm working on ! The evidence IS there for anyone who's actually, honestly interested. If they're not, and just want to arrogantly ridicule others, that's their sad problem :(. I empathize... there but for the grace of God go I ( we all have a choice, "God is not willing that any should perish" but I don't deserve applause for letting Him save me) - but need to not let my empathy enslave me ! Sorry so long ! But, for anyone interested in the evidence, go to ICR.org , and also check out the genetics research by Nathaniel Jeanson, here on YT, called " the new history of the human race".
I love the green color you chose. I was sorry to hear of the struggles you were going through making rent but am glad to know you got a sign to keep your booth. I think your booth is set up so nicely. I'd love to see it in person as I only live about an hour away. Keep up the good work, & thanks for sharing. -Sarah
Thank you Sarah! I know that not every month is going to be stellar but when there are several in a row it gets a little disheartening (at least for me). You should definitely come to the store! There are so many wonderful vendor spaces 🤍
Congrats on those two amazing sales and both in the same day. He definitely gave you the sign you asked for to keep it up. I am a green person, so I love the color that you painted the hutch. Hugs, Joanne
I love your booth; with that being said, I never sell large items or Furniture in my booth. I sell tons of smalls and I make a large profit every month. You may want to consider adding more smalls; items I sell are vintage post cards (I bought 2000 vintage post cards from Ebay for $300, I sell them for $2.50 a piece or more, of course you don't have to start out with 2000. I bought 220 vintage black and white photos from Bay for $70 and I sell most of them around $3.95 to $5.59 each for a huge profit margin. I sell vintage style stickers and sell at least $80 per month in stickers @50 cents each, they cost about one penny per sticker. I buy tons of $1.00 frames and either print out free vintage art such as Edgar Allan Poe, Mona Lisa, Country side prints and put in them, they sell every time, mostly 5x7 frames with a price of $10.95 each giving me a large profit margin. I also sell my 8x10 framed art for $18.95 and rarely pay over $2 for those frames, sometimes I paint the frames to match my Aesthetic before adding the prints. I sell scarves, hats, doilies, people love to buy that stuff and most of our thrift stores sell the hats and scarves for $1, so the profit margin is high there too. Just a few ideas if you are interested and you can make sure they match your style.
One more thing, you probably don't want to over crowd your booth, but you have enough space in the center of that rug for a tiny table to add to put little maybe old sewing machine drawers or small crates with smalls in them like old photos/post cards. Again, just another suggestion. You can also open up your drawers on the chest to add scarves, doilies and other items for sale. I use as much of my space as possible without looking messy. It is definitely a balance. Sorry for the probably unsolicited advice😆
Thank you so so much!!!!!! I read this right before I went to an estate sale and ended up finding a small table that I can add to that center space (I hope). I love the idea of the vintage post cards! I struggle with finding the right smalls to add my to space that stay with my style but that I know customers like. I really appreciate your ideas and explaining what you do in your booth 🤍🤍
😄 New Subscriber!! Pictures of your booth look beautiful. Love your furniture flips. I have had a booth for almost 3 years. It’s a lot of work. I don’t think people realize how much we really have to do to make a profit. So many hours are spent on cleaning, pricing, stocking, thrifting, antique shopping, cleaning booth space, restocking, etc……. It’s absolutely stressful. I feel frustrated so much. I have several art pieces, furniture items but I can’t add them to my booth because it’s soo small 3ft deep x 4ft wide so all I can fit are smalls. And they keep raising rent space and now they charge fees to the booth renter if the customer makes a purchase with a debit or credit card. I really like the vintage green that you used on your shelves. Great Color!!
There really is so much that goes into having a booth! Have you tried to sell those pieces online? I have had to do that and then i set that money aside if i need it for my booth. I'm sorry to hear they are making the vendors pay for the customer using a card!! I hope you continue to enjoy what you're doing and thank you for supporting my channel ❤️
One of my favorite greens, whipping willow 😁Emily I can't find any fault with any project you do !! The video before this one, the estate sale , you got some great old books, oh my goodness they were so beautiful 😍I'm taking your advice and stacking them by color, then the twin and touch of greenery just perfect ! I enjoyed watching the puppy playing with the other doggie and kissing her ect! I love animals. It was so nice to see your sweet face! Thank you for all your hard work to educate me❤
I have just come across your channel and I like it and have hit the subscribe button. The weeping willow color is spot on. God gave you some clear direction didn’t He! Thanks for sharing your thanks.
I loved that you gave thanks to God for your blessings. Your booth is beautiful. And the new pieces you added were so pretty. Have a blessed and nice day🤗
Love your videos... Your booth looks good, love that green color and Ifeel that the French linen is a good neutral to use on furniture. Keep up the good work...
As a booth owner for barely over a year I have learned that I have to stiff mine with smalls and have a couple of large statement pieces. Smalls pay my rent.
Pray for him ! Not that he admires your tastes or shares your interests totally, but that he can be more supportive and loving if he needs to be ! Pray for how you can be the example and an encouragement to him, while waiting and praying for him :).
Hi! There are closer stores but they do not bring the clientele that this store does. They have great foot traffic and at this store - I just have to work on my space some more I think
Congrats! Love your projects. Dont apologize for thanking God, ❤️

Your booth is beautiful. I don’t have much confidence in how I display mine. But the store owners seem to like it
Thank you! We just have to keep working on our displays and we'll get it 🤍 That's good to store owners like your setup!

Hi Bonnie! Yes, I agree with you 100% that smalls pay the rent! I need to focus on finding those - I appreciate that reminder 😊
Great job!
Thank you!
So nice that your handsome husband helps you. You are a nice couple
Thanks! He's very helpful and supportive. I couldn't do it without him
Good for your sales, booth looks great, I would suggest that you might layer with some taller items behind the shorter, like pictures or mirrors
Thank you Joyce! I appreciate that suggestion - I will definitely try and work those in 😃🤍
I have such a hard time with placement and vignettes as well. It’s a struggle. But I think it turned out beautifully ❤
Thank you Tracy! I always end up changing things around a few times 😆
Your booth looks great Emily! I have a booth too and it was fun watching the set up!
Thanks Laura! Where is your booth located?
