Emily!!! I love these projects. I love your idea of wrapping the picture holder wire around the bottle top. I WILL definitely be trying that. Your choice of paper, direction of books and color are perfect! You do a good job of describing the directions. I am visual so I really appreciate your instructions as well. Thank you for sharing!

Wax applied before the milk paint in areas will cause more resist/chipping. I do like that you used it directly on the shellacked wood, that’s my favorite finish

From my Mom: Your crafts are crap. You needed to partially fill the potion bottles with something. I.e. flour in the bone dust bottle plus wrap the tops with fabric, ribbon or twine, should not see twist lines The boot and ghost are just stupid. Dollar tree products looked better. Your change was ugly. Ghost looked like a mummy. Stopped watching. Life too short to watch crap.

All these are gorgeous. Ni love wood projects. I don’t even know what candy corn is but they are cute. The witch hats are adorable and I really love the book stack. TFS.

Love those witch hats. Many years ago, I made wooden candy corn and put them on dowels and "plant" them for halloween.

Both were really cute, but I would probably use the candy corn more.
